After ricocheting multiple times, all twenty-four leaves converged on Qingfeng in mid-air.

Qingfeng activated his second ring. His wings beat once, summoning a dark blue tornado. Positioned in the eye of the storm, the surrounding winds formed an impenetrable wall, sweeping away all the incoming leaf blades.
The storm dispersed. Qingfeng's first soul ring lit up. With a strange cry, he released a soundwave-based projectile—a transparent sonic bullet aimed at Qian Renxue. The attack came from above, was lightning fast, and could be chained.
Qian Renxue pressed his hand to the ground, summoning three blue-gold vines. When they collided with the sonic bullets, most of the vines shattered.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions echoed across the plaza. Qian Renxue dodged most of the attacks using Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track.
"Blue Silver Blade!"
"Hurricane Bullets!"

Shui Yue'er gripped Shui Bing'er's arm nervously. "This is bad, Sister. Brother-in-law is getting countered! How is he supposed to beat this guy?"
The Azure Luan Divine Bird had both sonic and wind elements, along with flight. It was a top-tier martial spirit, fully capable of countering Qian Renxue's hidden weapon combat style.
"Relax. Xiao Chuan already defeated Feng Xiaotian. He's just waiting for the right moment."
Back in the promotion rounds, Qian Renxue had used his Blue Silver Overlord Spear and domain to interrupt Feng Xiaotian's Gale Demon Wolf Thirty-Six Slash, leaving him stunned and defenseless.
Shui Yue'er pouted. "If just Qingfeng is this hard to deal with, how are we supposed to beat the whole Spirit Hall team?"
"There's always a way—we just have to endure more hardship."
Shui Bing'er gently patted her sister's head. When she said the Tianshui team had to endure hardship, she meant it literally.
She and Qian Renxue had discussed this at length. The only viable strategy was to control the skies. Of all Spirit Hall's team, only Qingfeng could fly.
She and Qian Renxue would both take to the air—he with the Two-Winged Angel, she with her innate abilities—and first eliminate Qingfeng. Then Qian Renxue would use his hidden weapon skills to deal with the rest, one by one.
Since using the angel spirit meant no Blue Silver Grass, Shui Bing'er would substitute with her ice spikes—turning the hidden weapon strategy from Blue Silver Blades to ice spike artillery.
The rest of the Tianshui team would have to endure Spirit Hall's attacks in the meantime—literally "suffering more."
"Fifth Soul Skill—Hurricane Roar!"
In the sky, Qian Renxue had already released his Two-Winged Angel. Armed with the Blue Silver Overlord Spear, he clashed mid-air with Qingfeng. Sparks flew as their weapons met—spear against claw.
