With his eyes closed, there is a loud notification sound that reached his ears.
He didn't have to open his eyes to know that whatever it was, was just there because of his passive ability danger sense that has been activated and had been telling him that he is in danger.
He is, he knows this. But there was just something within him that wanted to stay in the circle he is on and not move. Whatever it was, gut instinct or just plain stupidity, he didn't know. He just had to stay still.
Evan didn't dare take a peek, but it felt weird. He was waiting for the wild wolves' attack that does not seem to be coming for him. Iva is silent. But then again, maybe death just go slow for everyone.
A few more moments pass, and he realized that it was taking a long time. He opened his eyes and was surprised to see that it seems like he was surrounded by mid-jump, frozen wild wolves all around him.
