Still a little hesitant to get more than he is used to, Evan finally relents after a bit more urging from Spire. It may have been treated as a simple dinner by Sir Theobald, but it most certainly the first time that Evan felt not only full, but almost stuffed.
Sir Theobald was the first person to leave. Evan is used to everyone leaving the table at the same time, but he knew that nobles do things differently. So he didn't really question nor wonder about it in his mind.
Even if that was the case, he still waited for Spire to finish her dinner. He saw her ask for something sweet.
It ended up with him also indulging a cold, soft and melted treat, served in a bowl with a smaller spoon than the one he saw for the soup.
Spire called it ice cream, and it tasted very sweet and cold. It reminded Evan of a fruit.
"That's because it is an ice cream made from the mango fruit." Spire had explained then.
