The duo woke up without any issues. In the morning, before they left, they made sure to check the nearby area. Just in case they are being watched or are being followed.
The two walked for the remaining miles and made it to the city of Zirtunicia. This city was renowned for its technological advancements and pioneered the use of magic to create automatic agricultural tools. As a result, it grew to become one of the largest and richest cities in the country.
Nero and Halg explored the markets first before getting to Nero's real mission in Zirtunicia.
They squeezed through the masses passing multiple civilians thouh amonst them one caught Nero's interest. He was cloaked in a dark coat hiding his face with a mask which hid his presenxe almost perfectly. Something about this person struck him, Nero struck his hand out and tried holding the person's shoulder. But just as he was about to make contact, he took a sharp right turn into a dark alleyway. Nero pushed through the crowds, but when he reaches the alley it turned out to be a dead end with no one in sight.
Shaking his head he reuinted with Halg. Whilst looking through the selection of Axes they had to offer, Nero was hearing whispers of a man called Ashford, someone important to this place.
Ashford, huh? Something about that name reminded him of the cloaked person whom just barely escaped him, though, Nero could not pinpoint why his mind wandered to the man. Nero snapped out of his temporary trance thanks to Halg's question:
Nero began to wonder who this figure was and thought to try and look at the local news.
< I'll be right with you, Halg, there's just something I gotta do>
Nero spotted the local news stand and bought a newspaper; the headline reading [Zirtuncia Thriving Under New Mayor!], but nothing about this Ashford figure; so Nero decided to keep it in mind, but not worry about it.
Nero and Halg needed a place to stay so the two checked in at the local inn and put all their stuff down.
Nero embarrassed due to his own lack of a plan began to think what could he do which was hard considering Halg's laughter distracted him but Nero pondered and decide the best way to recruit people was too …
Nero once more embarrassed that his ideas were so foolish.
Nero pondered for a moment.
Nero found a local bar and spoke with the handful of warriors he was able to encounter.
The warrior thought about Neros words. His nodding a clear sign that he understood what Nero was planning, perhaps he already had a Vendetta against the government and kept listening.
curious on how far Nero was willing to go for his goals.
Suddenly, law enforcement rushed into the bar.
Nero clutched his sword and jumped back shocked as to why these guards were arresting him for treason.
