In the middle of the chaos, Jasper's men, who had been tailing Hiraya since she left home, sped forward in two sedans, desperate to rescue her.


The back doors of both cars burst open, and four scary-looking men holding automatic weapons climbed out, their eyes bloodshot and their expression murderous.


"Protect the Boss's pet!" One of the men shouted, as gunfire erupted in the air from different directions.


Hiraya quickly took cover on the cold concrete shielding herself from the gunfire, while intentionally scraping her elbow and her knees in the process. She gave two nonverbal signal and Griffin was moved speedily in the middle of the commotion.
