Chapter 113 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN: The Battle Of The Artifacts: Agwankaya's Fury

After the woman vanished, the group breathed a collective sigh of relief, their faces etched with exhaustion and tension. They approached the pedestal, their eyes fixed on the small, intricately carved box with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Gidado reached out, his hand hesitating for a moment before opening the box. Inside, they found the Dark artifact, its presence seeming to fill the room with an aura of power that both fascinated and intimidated them.

As they almost made it out of Agwankaya's heart, happy their mission in Agwankaya was over, and ready to move on to Ile-Ife planet, a sense of anticipation and hope filled the air. But suddenly, the creatures with two hands and two legs, who obviously had defeated the creatures with bodies of large goats and sheep, emerged from the shadows. The superior of the creatures, a towering figure with piercing eyes, stood behind them, its expression cold and calculating.

The superior creature's voice, from behind, startled the group, and they turned to face it with a mix of surprise and wariness. "You think you're worthy of wielding the two artifacts?" it said, its tone dripping with disdain. Without waiting for a response, it continued, "Oh! Thank you for taking care of the guardian of the chamber before my arrival." The creature's words were laced with sarcasm, and its tone was almost mocking, as if the group was no match for its power.

The group's faces reflected their determination and resolve. Gidado's grip tightened around the Dark artifact in his hand, while Mike's grip on the good artifact tightened, his knuckles white with tension. "We're not going to give it to you," he said, his voice firm and resolute.

The creature's face twisted with rage, its eyes blazing with fury. "We'll take it by force, then," it snarled, baring its teeth. Without warning, the creatures charged forward, their movements swift and deadly.

The atmosphere was charged with tension and anticipation, the air thick with the promise of battle. The group's hearts pounded in their chests, their senses heightened as they prepared to defend themselves against the creatures' attack.

The group stood firm, ready to defend themselves against the onslaught. Mike held the good artifact aloft, its power coursing through him like a river of light. Gidado gripped the Dark artifact tightly, its dark energy pulsing through him like a heartbeat.

The creatures clashed with the group, their movements swift and deadly. Amina dodged and weaved, avoiding the creatures' blows with ease. TJ struck back with precision, his movements swift and calculated. Bisola fought in tandem, her movements fluid and synchronized. Avovome fought endlessly using it fire.

The battle raged on, the two sides exchanging blows and energy blasts. The air was filled with the sound of clashing steel and the scent of ozone.

Mike unleashed a powerful blast of energy from the good artifact. The creatures stumbled backward, giving the group a brief respite. Gidado took advantage of the momentary reprieve to launch a counterattack, wielding the Dark artifact with deadly precision.

As the battle raged on, the group's movements became more fluid, their coordination and teamwork improving with each passing moment. Mike and Gidado worked in tandem, their artifacts complementing each other perfectly. The good artifact's energy blasts illuminated the dark chamber, while the Dark artifact's power struck fear into the hearts of their enemies.

The creatures, however, seemed to be endless, their numbers seemingly infinite. They kept coming, wave after wave, each one more ferocious than the last. The group fought valiantly.

Just when it seemed like the creatures would overwhelm them, Amina came up with a plan. "We need to find a way to take out their leader!" she shouted above the din of battle. "If we can take out the superior creature, the others might retreat!"

TJ nodded, his eyes scanning the battlefield. "I see him! He's the one directing the others. If we can take him out, we might have a chance!"

Mike and Gidado nodded, their determination renewed. With a fierce cry, they launched a joint attack, their artifacts blazing with energy. The creatures parted, revealing the superior creature, who sneered at them with contempt.

The superior creature laughed, its voice echoing off the walls of the chamber. "You think you can defeat me?" It taunted. "I am the strongest creature in Agwankaya! I have the power of the ancient ones coursing through my veins!"

With a wave of its hand, the creature unleashed a blast of energy that sent the group flying. Mike and Gidado struggled to get back to their feet, their artifacts still clutched in their hands. Amina and TJ helped each other up, their eyes fixed on the creature.

The creature charged forward, its movements lightning-fast. Mike raised the good artifact, and a blast of energy shot out, but the creature was too quick. It dodged the attack with ease and struck back with a powerful blow.

Gidado raised the Dark artifact, and a wave of dark energy washed over the creature. It stumbled backward, momentarily stunned. The group took advantage of the reprieve to launch a counterattack.

Mike and Gidado charged forward, their artifacts blazing with energy. The creature roared in anger, its eyes blazing with fury. The battle was intense, the two sides exchanging blows and energy blasts.

Amina and TJ fought alongside Mike and Gidado, their movements swift and deadly. Bisola and Avovome joined the fray. The creature was powerful, but the group was determined.
