Noble Rank & Names Of Regions

One Emperor - Beast Sovereign: Land called Zarnokar.

The Five regions :

The Primarch Hold - Ruled by The Emperor, Title of the head of ruling family - Worldbinder. Family named - Binder Family.

The Dreamlands - Ruled by Star Seer, head of Star Family.

The Redwilds - Ruled by Blood Reaver, head of Reaver Family.

The Greenvale - Ruled by Grove Keeper, head of Keeper Family.

The Tempest Coast - Ruled by Storm Lord, head of Storm Family.

Each region have:

Ex. Greenvalehas a Head of the Ruling Family called The Grove Keeper. Then four members of the family who are in status lower than the Head, who are called Dukes.

Four Dukes; Duke of Summer, Winter, Monsoon and Autumn. - the head visits these Dukedomes in those seasons. The next head can only be one of the four Dukes. In very rare case a noble other than the main family is given this title.

Each Duke can have three Earls; called right hand, left hand and the sword hand(most important of the three, also called viscount).

Each Earl can have seven Barons; Named by the region they rule. The Baron most favoured by the Earl (Mostly the Baron who wins the most land from other Barons during the five year raid by tradition.) - is called Banner-Lord. Earl can choose any Baron as his Banner-Lord but ignoring tradition won't be looked upon kindly if there was one clear winner of the year of raid. If there is no clear winner, it's fine.

Each Baron and all the lords can have as many knights under their direct service as they want.

The chain of command goes,

If in direct service of Baron: Emperor>Region Head Where One Lives>Duke Of Their Dukedome>The Earl Who Rules The Region>The Baron.

If in direct service of Earl: The same except the command starts from Earl.

The chain of command is the same for everyone but for the ones in service of the direct lord their command chain starts from the status of their lord. Meaning the knight serving the Duke directly can ignore all commands given to him by other dukes and all the lower nobles. The knight's status in authority is not higher because he serves directly to the higher noble, just direct orders he can ignore. All other respect deserving a noble for the knight is necessary - however only the lord in who's service the knight is can punish the knight or strip him of the land and titles.

The lower nobles can directly appeal to the head of the region if a knight disrespects them in any way and is protected by the higher ranked noble from being rightfully punished.

It's all territorial. Other than the head family and the Dukes - no other status of noble can command a knight from another region that does not come under him or her.
