'Thud'
Nero fell to the ground, looking around he found nothing but endless black mountain's and white grounds "where is this?".
Dante who had just arrived deactivated his devil trigger and replied "the demon realm kid, you reallllly shouldn't be here, you know" he had a look of disapproval on his face while staring down at Nero.
Nero looked away and retorted "stop looking down on me!" His face twisted in anger while he stood up and turned to stare angrily at Dante.
Dante walked past him while his sword was casually leaned on his shoulder, he turned around and said to Nero "look kid... If you find your father here, leave him to me, alright", Dante made sure to tell him this cause he can feel Vergil's demonic aura here, and it was larger than his own.
Nero who was angry just now, opened his eyes wide and asked in a disbeliefed voice "what, he's here".
After seeing Dante stare at him he shook his head.
"Impossible! Why would he be here of all places" Nero went into self doubt and thought Dante was just playing with him.
"I'm going alone, I'll definitely bring hanabi back, myself" after a couple of seconds he got his bearings and started walking towards the distance that had a giant tower.
Dante shook his head then said to Nero "well, if your going to be this stubborn, then race you there!".
'Boom'
Dante once again activated his devil trigger and started flying towards the tower, Nero seeing this felt aggrieved and he muttered while running behind him "damnit, this isn't a game".
Some time later.
The two had arrived, Dante who had arrived first was seen playing with his pistol's sat on a rock quite high from the ground, he looked down from the spot he was in and said to Nero "wow, the slow poke finally came, if I wasn't waiting for ya, I'd be half way up there already" he pointed towards the tower.
Nero ignored him and continued running towards the inside of the tower.
Dante: well, he's in hurry.
He jumped down and followed behind him, when the two entered the tower they saw four demon knights with shields standing in front of the door.
Nero: I haven't got time for this, get out of my way!
'Bang'
Nero kicked the shit out of the two knights and ran towards the door and opened it, Dante who had lost sight of Nero felt annoyed and took care of the four knights alone.
Meanwhile on top of the tower.
Vergil was seen standing and staring at the two who were coming, he said to himself and the person behind him "they're coming, did you get the amulet".
???: no, she didn't have it on her.
Vergil turned around and stared blankly at the person "they why did you bring her here, she's a weakling, without any meaning".
???: because, the boy was given the amulet by the girl, I'd stand no chance against the boy so I used a tactic to lure him, to get the amulet a different way.
Vergil: i see.
Vergil who heard this, walked away calmly with his arms crossed, before letting them fall down with the Yamato in his hand, he turned to stare at the person inside the cocoon made by a demon, he scoffed and continued his walk.
After a couple of days inside the tower the two of Dante and Nero finally reached the top and saw hanabi floating in the middle of the tower's roof.
Nero: hanabi!
He was unaware of the person sat down overlooking the demon realm, completely unbothered by there arrival.
Dante who walked by Nero saw the person sat down, and ran towards him "vergil!".
'Boom'
Dante activated his devil trigger and flung himself towards vergil, and cut down at him, causing a shockwave, which also woke up Nero who was stunned.
Nero: the hell is going on over there.
He saw two people clashed with each other and he ignored them and went straight to where hanabi was.
Just as he was about to get closer, Dante slammed to the ground, and arrived at Nero's feet.
Nero frowned seeing Dante already knocked out and he turned towards the person walking over.
Vergil: give me the amulet.
Nero saw his father holding the red one in his hand and he quickly looked at the one he was wearing, and retorted back "release her first".
Vergil quickly turned to hanabi and cut her down, Nero watching her fall went to catch her, when he landed, "hanabi, hanabi wake up".
Vergil: she won't wake up, the demon realms atmosphere is impossible to breath for non demons.
Nero immediately became angry and asked vergil "is she alive".
"She is, now give me the amulet" Vergil became impatient and put the red one into his trench coat.
Dante slowly woke up and told Nero "don't, don't give it to him, if he takes it the universe of the demon realm will connect to the other universe's and many lives will be taken".
Vergil turned around and retorted to Dante "if that happens so be it, I will gain more power to protect my cherished ones, one way or another".
Vergil grabbed his own collar to make himself more comfortable and said "have you decided!, on which one of you will die!".
After Nero put hanabi in a safe location both Dante and nero were standing with each other.
Dante was feeling strange though he thought to himself [why are you so desperate to protect, is there a threat hanging over your head].
Vergil: enough, with your games, if you won't give it to me, then I'll have to take it.
Vergil crouched down in a motion for an attack, Dante and Nero pulled out there blades expecting a fight.
'Boom'
Vergil activated his sin devil trigger and a blue version of himself appeared by his side and the two Vergil's flung themselves at the two standing before him "DIEE!".
'Boom'
Dante seeing vergil go all out right from the get go also activated his sin devil trigger.
Nero frowned upon this and thought [I wish I had a power boost].
