After Ariyo and Dan's explanation of what had happened in their mission, Reggie took a sigh and leaned on his desk "So In short, there is someone who is giving our technology to other cities and countries. I think I understand it now.", Dan then asked "So what are we going to do about it?", Reggie replied with his arms folded "Nano-tech tech is extremely hard to make. In order to create a nano-tech that will take the shape of what you want it to be, you have to create small bots that are the size of ants. Not just that, you have to make lots of them and program them to move a certain way or shape. The reason I can create them so casually is because of my ability. Other from that, it will take humanity about 10 years to accomplish it. Despite how technologically advance we are, that particular form of technology is something that will take us a few decades to create.". Ariyo then asked "So how does it have to do with identifying the traitors?", Reggie replied "Its simple. It has to be people who have access to our technology. It could be anybody from the science department, it could also be anyone from the soliders department. Aside from training in their base, soliders and assassins of this city have access to weapons that the science department makes, this is done through training. Not just that, but a person can be in both departments as well.". Dan then added "Yeah, it only makes sense if the traitor is one of those few. And plus, it's possible to think that the higher ups are behind this.", Reggie and Ariyo were a bit stunned from what he just said, Ariyo asked "What do you mean?". Dan explained "The higher ups are a set of people in the city that are in the political aspect. They take records of how strong some certain individuals are, they can even use extremely skilled soliders and assassins as their personal guards. Not just that, they also have first access to newly created things like the inventions that are created in the labs.", Reggie paused for a moment "Hold on. You might just be right, but it still doesn't make sense.", Ariyo added "Yeah, Dan, it doesn't make sense. Why would the higher ups be the traitors?". Reggie then exclaimed "I think I have an idea! It's possible that the higher ups want to remove some certain assassins out the way. There are people with strength that would be hard to control. Once those higher ups recognise that there is a certain power that they can't handle, they'll look for ways to kill that person.". Ariyo and Dan were stunned "No way." Dan exclaimed, Reggie completed his sentence "Its possible... that the higher ups planned this entire mission against the hornets web cult.". About an hour later, Yuji was sitting on a roof top of a huge building, the wind was gently blowing his blue hair and shirt, he thought to himself "Its wierd. This world is mostly about people who have been blessed with abilities, we have people being treated as war weapons in order to achieve a certain objectives, both good and bad. But yet....", Yuji was looking at the wonderful scenery of the city "The world around us is just so beautiful. Sure, there are people out there that are planning to do evil things, and there are going to be criminal organisations as time goes on. But still, the world around us seems so peaceful in a sense. Everyone has the things they want to achieve, you can decide to have your own personal dreams and still be a soldier. You can decide you want to be a soldier for the rest of your life. You can even decide to be a regular civilian. I guess all in all, we humans would always have our free will.". As he was enjoying himself at the top, someone came from behind and patted him on the head "You know, it's not good to just drop your guard like that.", Yuji clicked his tounge and turned back "Who is it?", he asked with annoyance. Yuji turned back and saw Dan behind him with a smile "Yo, Yuji!", Yuji's annoyance slightly vanished "Oh, it's just Dan.", Dan replied "Saying *Its just* is kind of rude, don't you think?". Dan sat beside Yuji, Yuji's eyes rolled to him "Why are you so beat up?", he asked, Dan replied "I went for mission, it had to do with subduing those hornets web cult bastards.". Yuji replied "I'm guessing it was that hard.", Dan replied with a mild smirk and a scoff "Missions are always that bad. It doesn't matter what kind of mission it is, anything can happen.". Yuji replied "Hm, I guess so. Well, I'm glad you're alive.", Dan then started to use his working hand to play with Yuji's hair, he joked with him "Ahhh! So edgy. You know you've known me since you were a kid and you're always so dry towards me. It's kinda crapy, don't you think?", Yuji got annoyed and exclaimed in annoyance "Stop playing with my hair!", this caused Dan to start laughing. As Dan kept laughing, Yuji asked "What's so funny?", Dan replied after his laughter had subdued "Its nothing.", he stretched out his fist for a fist bump "You're a good kid, Yuji. You might be a bit rude and all, but you really are a good kid.", Yuji clicked his tounge and gave him a fists bump "Whatever.", he replied. Dan then stood up and waved to Yuji "I'll see you later, I have some important stuff to do.", he proceeded to jump off the building. Yuji looked at him for a while before turning his head away "Okay then, have fun.". That same afternoon, Nagumo(Yuji's grandfather) was sitting on a quiet and peaceful park, while watching the quiet park and enjoying the silence, a familiar voice called to his attention "I see you're just minding your own business as usual, sensei", Nagumo turned to his right and saw Fugaku standing beside him. Nagumo replied "Oh, hey boy. How have you been?", Fugaku replied "Calling me boy even tho im now the lord of this city is a bit underwhelming, Nagumo sensei.".
