They emerged into a corner of the backyard behind the Horangi Trading Company branch. The two men placed the crate onto the bed of a wagon prepared in front of the back gate. Climbing onto the driver's seat, they took hold of the reins. Doga mounted his horse and led the wagon down a side street.
"Haah, finally caught him,"
Doga exhaled from atop his horse.
After discovering that Wilde's house was completely empty, he had chased after the carriage from the fortress, but the humans had arrived at the fort just ahead of him.
The fortress guarded by knights was heavily protected and even Doga had no way to breach it.
Prepared for a scolding, he had gone to meet Horangi at the Gustglen branch, only to be ordered by the branch manager to secure the boy with his cooperation.
He had even been told to use any means necessary, which made it clear that Mr. Horangi was also running out of patience.
