Chapter 530 - KWM Chapter 528: Reminder of "Orange Light"

Deep in the Spirit World Depths, enveloped by faint blue light, the Prophet Clone's figure, slightly ethereal, shuttled forward.

Suddenly, his spiritual intuition produced some subtle premonitions; it seemed as if several gazes were cast from the deepest parts of the Spirit World.

He subconsciously stopped, looking up in the direction of the Spirit World's highest point, the very top of the Spirit World, beyond which lay the historical fog area where Sefirah Castle was located.

At the very top of the Spirit World, the Seven Lights, slowly flowing, of different colors, and containing endless knowledge, suddenly became extremely close.

A bright Yellow Light swept across his eyes, quickly condensing into the image of a thin old man wearing a lemon-yellow robe and a long white beard.

"Yellow Light" Venithan, with a gentle smile on his face, said:

"Long time no see, Blessed of knowledge. The Spirit World area corresponding to the Forsaken Land of the Gods is cut off from its surroundings, so I cannot observe where your main body is, nor can I communicate with him. I had to come find you."

"Good afternoon, Mr. Venithan, may I ask why you are looking for me?" the Prophet Clone asked with a puzzled expression while bowing slightly.

As "Yellow Light" Venithan smiled and nodded, his right hand gently dragged across the air. A layer of bright Yellow Light flowed like water, converging to form a scene from the real world:

It was a very thin old man, his hair completely white and very messy, wrapped in thick clothes, as if he was very afraid of the cold. He kept chewing candy, and as soon as he finished one, he would immediately pop another in.

"His name is Turani von Helmosuin. His current identities are scientist, mathematician, mechanist, and father of the second-generation differential engine. He is also Orange Light Hillarion."

"Now that Orange Light is about to return to the Spirit World, this incarnation of his in the real world will die tonight."

"He has already recalled his identity. You can go find him now and get the manuscript for the second-generation differential engine. This is very important for you who want to promote civilization in the Southern Continent, and it can be considered an investment from us Seven Lights."

"He is in the Rorsted Archipelago. You should know how to find him, or where to wait for him."

As soon as he finished speaking, without waiting for the Prophet Clone's reply, "Yellow Light" Venithan's figure quickly disintegrated into a constantly flowing pure, bright Yellow Light, returning to the very top of the Spirit World.

"I just arrived in the Southern Continent, and now you're telling me to go back..." The Prophet Clone complained, glancing at Hittron, the capital of the Northern State in the Southern Continent outside the Spirit World, then changed direction and hurried back to the Spirit World area corresponding to the Rorsted Archipelago sea.

After some time traversing the Spirit World, the Prophet Clone finally returned to the Rorsted Archipelago.

Within the Spirit World area corresponding to Bayam, his spiritual intuition produced some subtle premonitions. There seemed to be some changes here; someone was watching, and there was a faint, cursed aura.

He did not immediately leave the Spirit World but remained in place, his eyes clearly losing focus and covered with a thick layer of silver-white. He used the active information within the Spirit World to make a simple prophecy.

After confirming that the anomaly in the Spirit World would not affect him, and that he would not be struck by lightning the moment he appeared in Bayam, he finally breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to leave the Spirit World and descend into reality.

At the same time, the wind in 'City of Generosity' Bayam suddenly intensified, as if controlled by an invisible hand, spreading in all directions.

At the same time, a deep and grand voice echoed in the wind:

"Helmosuin is at Black Pepper Avenue 32!"

"Helmosuin is at Black Pepper Avenue 32!"

This voice repeated several times, quickly spreading to every corner of Bayam, echoing in everyone's ears.

"Oh, a city-wide broadcast like in another world, the sea god scepter is really useful." The Prophet Clone looked out at Bayam from the Spirit World, watching the Beyonders from various factions, who had suddenly frozen for a moment, then quickly became active again, and couldn't help but exclaim.

After observing for a while, he redirected his gaze to the hotels in the Dock District. After some observation, he found the hotel where Klein was staying.

Specks of brass light emerged from the void, quickly condensing into an illusory, mysterious-patterned Door.

The Prophet Clone, dressed in a light brown woolen overcoat, stepped out from the other side of the illusory Door. He looked at Gehrman Sparrow, who had just half-removed his coat, and chuckled softly:

"Good evening, Mr. Great Adventurer, I'm here to wait for someone."

"Who?" Klein asked expressionlessly, while putting his coat back on.

"The one you just mentioned in the city-wide broadcast, the father of the second-generation differential engine, Turani von Helmosuin."

The Prophet Clone replied with a light chuckle, then turned and walked to a small round table by the window and sat down. He greeted the Marionette dressed as a waiter, who was standing there in a daze:

"A hot coffee, please, thank you."

Klein's mouth twitched, then he manipulated Gehrman Sparrow, who had been disguised, to brew coffee, while he himself sat on the other side of the small round table.

Leaning back in the wooden chair, he yawned and broke the silence:

"What do you want with Helmosuin? Also, why are you waiting for him here instead of actively going to Black Pepper Avenue to find him?"

"I want the differential engine manuscript he has." The Prophet Clone briefly explained his purpose, then tilted his head to look at the sky outside the window, obscured by thick clouds, and sighed softly:

"If I dared to appear openly in Bayam, the furious lightning might destroy the surrounding city and me along with it."

"You have a clear understanding of yourself," Klein couldn't help but mutter inwardly. Then, thinking of something, he pressed on:

"So you 'prophesied' that Helmosuin would appear here?"

"This doesn't require 'prophecy'," the Prophet Clone said calmly.

As the two spoke, Klein's Marionette had already placed a cup of brewed coffee and a cup of black tea in front of the Prophet Clone and himself, respectively.

Picking up the black tea in front of him and taking a sip, Klein changed the subject and continued to ask:

"What do you know about Marionettist?"

The Prophet Clone pondered and sighed, "Very cautious, and will become even more cautious."

"Seriously now," Klein interrupted impatiently.

The Prophet Clone shrugged, his expression becoming slightly more serious:

"A Marionette is not just a tool; it is also an actor in a stage play, with logical settings, performing in front of an audience."

Klein nodded slightly, understanding something:

"Casting the Faceless's acting onto the Marionette? No wonder this Sequence comes after Faceless."

"Except for the first stage, Seer, each subsequent Sequence seems to be a progression?"

The Prophet Clone nodded first, then shook his head:

"Divination can obtain information and judge danger. If Seer were placed in a later Sequence, you would be prone to stage accidents during your performances."

Klein suddenly fell silent. He felt this explanation was a bit hasty, but also made a lot of sense.

Knock, knock, knock!

The hotel room door was suddenly knocked on at this moment.

Klein first glanced at the Prophet Clone, then manipulated his Marionette Kircheis to open the door.

Outside the door, a thin old man with messy gray hair was popping a coffee-colored candy into his mouth. He was wearing a thick, padded coat and a heavy woolen overcoat over it.

He actually came? How did he evade the tracking of so many Beyonders, including demigods?

Klein stared at Helmosuin standing at the door, stunned for a moment before reacting. He spoke in a low, hoarse voice:

"Who are you looking for?"

Helmosuin's gaze lingered on the Prophet Clone for a moment, then returned to Klein. He smiled weakly:

"I noticed you at the Seaweed Bar before, but I didn't have a chance to find you then."

"My life has reached its end, so I've been remembering many things recently."

"Please allow me to introduce myself. You can call me 'Orange Light' Hillarion."

Orange Light Hillarion? Klein subconsciously turned his head to look at the Prophet Clone, who was standing quietly to the side. No wonder he came directly here to wait; based on the previous behavior of the other Seven Lights of the Spirit World, they would approach me the moment they saw me.

Composing his thoughts, Klein asked with some confusion:

"What do you want with me?"

Helmosuin looked at Klein with some surprise, as if seeing through him. After a brief silence, he chuckled:

"You seem to have already encountered other Pure Lights of the Spirit World. It's a pity I only recently recalled my identity, otherwise I would certainly have been the first to come see you."

Pausing, he continued:

"I came to warn you, beware of the Mother Tree!"

"She seems to have noticed you."

After speaking, he shifted his gaze to the Prophet Clone, who was standing quietly to the side, and said:

"Young man, you still have the aura of 'Yellow Light' Venithan on you. Did you just see him?"

The Prophet Clone nodded, chuckling softly:

"Yes, he told me to come find you for a copy of the second-generation differential engine manuscript."

Helmosuin nodded gently, not particularly concerned, and coughed softly:

"My current body is about to die; I no longer have the strength to write you a manuscript. You can wait a while, and after I return to the Spirit World, perform a ritual to me, and I will teach you the corresponding knowledge."

As expected of the Seven Lights of the Spirit World, who are closely related to the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom; they also like to teach knowledge to others so much. The Prophet Clone sighed inwardly, pinched his brow, and said:

"I know, but Mr. Venithan told me to come directly. Perhaps he prophesied something."

This was also why he chose to return directly to the Rorsted Archipelago. No matter what "Yellow Light" had prophesied, he had already paid the price, and the Prophet Clone didn't mind making an extra trip.

Looking at Helmosuin, whose face was even paler, as if he could die at any moment, he reached into his pocket and took out a brass-colored charm he had already prepared, handing it over and saying:

"Since I'm already here, there's no need to trouble you again later. This is a charm I made by imitating the Hidden Sage's knowledge, person by person. When activated, it can record all of the user's memories and knowledge."

Helmosuin was silent for a moment before sighing and reaching out to take the charm handed to him by the Prophet Clone. During this process, he popped another candy into his mouth.

Gripping the brass-colored charm tightly in his hand, he softly chanted in ancient hermes, "Knowledge!"

The brass-colored charm suddenly erupted in a dazzling light. Specks of brass light rapidly moved, outlining one mysterious symbol after another, forming pairs of illusory eyes.

These illusory eyes stared unblinkingly ahead, as if meticulously recording something.

This situation lasted less than half a minute. Specks of brass light rapidly converged, forming a translucent orb of light in mid-air.

The Prophet Clone took out a child's fist-sized, rhomboid blue crystal from his other pocket, engraved with the holy emblem of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.

The translucent orb of light floating in mid-air seemed to be drawn, flying directly into the blue crystal.

Putting away the blue crystal, which contained the knowledge of the second-generation differential engine, the Prophet Clone bowed slightly to Helmosuin:

"Thank you for your help."

"Cough~ cough cough~" Helmosuin coughed several more times before recovering, and said in a hoarse voice:

"It's nothing. Although I don't know what deal Venithan made with you, it doesn't prevent me from choosing to trust their judgment."
