Leyton raised his eyebrows slightly, his gaze falling on the exquisite conch in his hand, and asked with some curiosity:

"Are you picking out a gift for someone?"

"Why for someone else?" Phoenix retorted.

Leyton chuckled and shook his head, saying:

"Something so exquisite and colorful doesn't seem to suit you very well, and you don't seem like someone who enjoys collecting such crafts."

Phoenix was silent for a moment, then nodded gently in response.

"You're right, I'm picking out a gift for someone."

Leyton observed his reaction for a moment, unable to glean any useful information from his face.

'It's really not easy to get used to losing my Prophet characteristics; my observation and analysis abilities have dropped a lot,' he grumbled to himself, then nodded to Phoenix and left with Bugs Bunny.

As he moved, a pale yellow piece of paper fell from the Spirit World, landing right in his raised right hand.

Blocked by his body, the ordinary old Ben behind him did not see this supernatural scene.

After walking a short distance, Leyton finally unfolded the paper in his hand. It was an unsigned, unaddressed letter, but with just a glance, he already knew who it was from.

On the pale yellow paper, neat and elegant Dutanese words were written:

"What have you done? The entire Demoness Sect is now hunting you. Their movements are very hidden, and if I hadn't happened to meet an old friend, I wouldn't have known this news."

"You'd best be careful, don't leave too obvious traces, and don't stay in one place for too long. Those madwomen are very good at divination and tracking, and their methods are much more cunning and ruthless than those barbarians from the Church of the Lord of Storms."

"I originally wanted to ask you to help me catch a Follower of the Primeval Moon, but forget it for now. You can't even protect yourself."

'The Demoness Sect, they haven't made a move, I thought they had given up. It seems they must have been preparing. As expected of assassins, they won't act easily without absolute certainty.'

As he pondered, scattered starlight appeared on his hand, enveloping the pale yellow paper and dragging it into the Spirit World.

I can't stay in Bayam anymore. If another battle between demigods breaks out here, I'll become the Church of the Lord of Storms's number one wanted criminal.

At the port of Bayam, Danitz was dressed in a very skillful disguise. He drove a carriage and stopped in a corner of the port.

He was pricking up his ears, listening to the conversation in the carriage behind him, a somewhat lewd smile occasionally pulling at the corners of his mouth.

The next moment, his spiritual intuition was triggered, and he vigilantly looked to his left.

Layers of starlight suddenly spread there, and faint blue light rippled outwards like water, creating layers of waves.

Soon, a layered door made of starlight appeared, and deep, dark starlight spread out, as if connecting this place to an unknown realm.

Wh-what is that?! Danitz watched the suddenly appearing starlight door with great vigilance, and on his left hand, hidden behind his back, a faint crimson glow flickered.

In the carriage behind him, Klein, dressed as Gehrman Sparrow, and the red-haired Irene, sitting opposite him, both turned their heads and looked at the scene through the carriage window.

As the few people watched with expressions ranging from surprise to fear, a gray rabbit walked out, wearing a custom-made tuxedo, a tall black top hat, a red bow tie around its neck, black gloves on its hands, and holding a staff that looked like a tree branch.

Shit! Why is it this damned fat rabbit again? I'm going to roast him one day! Danitz's expression froze for a moment, and the flickering crimson on his left hand, hidden behind his back, rapidly faded.

'I knew it,' Klein sighed silently to himself, then turned his head expressionlessly to look at Irene, who was staring at Bugs Bunny in disbelief. He casually took out a small metal bottle and threw it to her, saying:

"Use the liquid inside to remove your makeup."

"Huh? Why?" Irene, having recovered, subconsciously asked.

"You don't need to know."

Klein said expressionlessly, his peripheral vision already catching sight of Leyton emerging from the starlight door.

Outside the carriage, Bugs Bunny's crimson eyes disdainfully glanced at Danitz, seemingly having already discerned his inner thoughts.

Danitz glared back, then his gaze fell on Leyton, who was standing behind Bugs Bunny:

"Why are you here? Looking for Gehrman Sparrow? He's having a rendezvous with a woman in the carriage... and it's someone from Vice Admiral Ailment!"

Danitz's tone, full of juicy gossip, made Leyton raise an eyebrow. His gaze turned to the carriage behind him, and through the reflection on the glass, he could clearly see Klein and the red-haired Irene inside the carriage, one with a cold expression, the other with a grim face.

Leyton lowered his gaze and chuckled softly, saying:

"Just a friendly reminder, the soundproofing in this carriage isn't very good."

Danitz's expression froze, and his face turned pale. He felt a sudden cold sweat break out on his back. 'Will Gehrman Sparrow kill me to silence me? Maybe I'll even be targeted by Vice Admiral Ailment.'

Leyton gave Danitz a playful glance, and only when the other party's expression gradually returned to normal did he speak:

"I'm here for you, Mr. Great Pirate, 4500 pounds."

"Huh? For me?" Danitz was stunned, not caring about Leyton's subsequent address for him; he was already accustomed to being intimidated by Gehrman Sparrow.

In Danitz's surprised eyes, Leyton slightly raised his right hand, and beneath him, shadows suddenly surged like water, like a constantly spewing black fountain.

A stack of neatly folded exam papers, bound books, and several light brown amber pieces with mercury flowing inside were spewed out from the black fountain.

"What is this?" Danitz asked, surprised and somewhat confused, looking at the scene.

Leyton chuckled and explained:

"These are the lessons you missed while you weren't on the Golden Dream. Edwina asked me to bring them to you and told me to remind you to read and memorize all of them. She will check when you return to the ship."

Upon hearing that these were things from the Captain, Danitz instinctively bent down to pick them up, but Leyton's subsequent words froze his movements in mid-air.

After a pause, Danitz retracted his bending motion and said in a fawning tone:

"Um, well, I think I can go back to the Golden Dream right now. There's nothing for me to do alone in Bayam anyway... And it's dangerous."

"Can't you perform Spirit World travel? Can you take me back to the Golden Dream?"

As Danitz said this, he also glanced at the carriage behind him, unsure if the danger he spoke of referred to the Church of the Lord of Storms or Gehrman Sparrow.

Leyton looked down at the books and exam papers on the ground that Danitz was unwilling to pick up, gently rubbed his fingers, summoned an invisible giant hand, and scooped up the exam papers, books, light brown amber, along with some dirt from the ground, and stuffed them into Danitz's arms.

After doing all this, he rubbed his fingers again, dispelling the invisible giant hand he had summoned, and spoke amidst Danitz's expression of suppressed anger:

"I can take you back to the Golden Dream, but I think even if you go back, you'll still be sent out."

"Definitely not. Our Golden Dream is only one ship, and I'm also the Fourth Mate on board. Why would they send me out?"

Danitz shook his head firmly, indicating disbelief.

While the two were talking, the carriage door was opened from the inside.

The red-haired Irene, dressed in men's clothing, carried a suitcase and cautiously stepped out of the carriage, her gaze vigilantly fixed on Leyton, who had just emerged from the starlight door, and Bugs Bunny at his feet.

Leyton looked at her with curious eyes and said:

"Are you preparing to escape from Vice Admiral Ailment?"

Irene pursed her lips, saying nothing, but simply glanced at Leyton, quickly withdrew her gaze, and walked towards the ships docked in the nearby port.

Before Irene left, Leyton asked again:

"Are there any other Witches on Tracy's Black Death?"

"What is a Witch?" Irene stopped and turned back, asking in confusion.

Leyton carefully chose his words to explain:

"They are a group of psychologically abnormal women who possess unusual charm, attracting both men and women."
