"Yes, but I don't have that many pounds right now. Can I exchange them for Mystical Items of equivalent value?"

Bru Walls, the Artisan, was the first to speak.

"No problem."

Leyton nodded slightly, his gaze sweeping over the other Sailors still watching around them:

"I have many low-to-mid Sequence potion formulas from various Pathways. If any of you need them, you can come to me. Of course, you must bring enough money!"

His voice was subtly infused with a hint of spirituality, stirring people's emotions. No one present, except Vice Admiral Iceberg Edwina, noticed this issue.

The surrounding Sailors exchanged glances, feeling that the potion formulas were very tempting.

Although not every Sailor on the Golden Dream had the same savings mindset as Danitz, they had just found a treasure and hadn't had a chance to squander it ashore yet, so they all had some savings, more or less.

Following Daniels' lead, they left the Captain's cabin one by one, preparing to return to their rooms to get money and purchase the formulas.

Jodeson, who didn't have as strong a desire for potion formulas, looked at Leyton with some suspicion. He felt something was off but couldn't pinpoint the problem after thinking for a while.

What's wrong with these guys? I've never seen them so eager to improve their strength. Why did they suddenly all come to their senses?

Wait, wouldn't this make me seem unmotivated in front of the Captain?

A thought suddenly flashed through Jodeson's mind, and then this idea grew stronger. He no longer bothered to think about so many details and quickly ran to catch up with the departing Sailors.

Seeing all the Sailors gathered in the Captain's cabin leave, Edwina glanced at them, sighed slightly, and then turned her gaze back to Leyton:

"Why did you send them away? What do you want to discuss with me?"

"Don't worry about them. This heightened excitement won't last long. By the time they return to their cabins, they should have realized what happened."

Leyton saw Edwina's concern for her Sailors and then explained.

Then he raised his right hand slightly, extended two fingers, and said with a smile:

"There are two matters. The Golden Dream's activity range will be more apparent for a period of time. If possible, spread some rumors indicating that your trip was very fruitful, to attract Admiral of Blood as much as possible."

"Additionally, do you have channels to do grain smuggling business? I am the buyer, and I need you to transport a batch of grain to an uninhabited island for me every so often."

Edwina looked at Leyton with some confusion, then frowned in thought. After a moment, she said with a slightly serious tone:

"The grain you need is not a problem. I have a fixed channel in Feynapotter where I can purchase it."

"However, Admiral of Blood Senor is a Wraith from the Mutant Pathway. A Wraith in spirit form has strong divination abilities, so he likely won't fall for such an obvious lure."

Leyton nodded slightly and chuckled:

"The simplest method is the most effective. Even if he knows we have an ambush, he won't choose to give up. Instead, he'll make full preparations to come and intercept."

"The Rose School of Thought is my true target..."

"No problem." Edwina looked deeply at Leyton, no longer having any questions.

In the Golden Dream's cabin, Bru Walls, who had just reached his room door, stopped. He looked at Daniels not far away and asked in confusion:

"I remember you saying last time that every penny you earn should be used for enjoyment. Why are you suddenly so eager for the Wind-Blessed potion formula today?"

"Also, Jodeson, why did you run back with us? Don't you have that potion formula called Dream Stealer?"

Jodeson froze there for a moment, frowning for a long time, then suddenly spat:

"Damn it! We were tricked by that kid. He has some strange secret art that can twist our inner thoughts and emotions."

"I knew something was off! Why did I suddenly want to buy the potion formulas he had so badly? He actually wanted to trick me out of the savings I just accumulated!"

Daniels also gradually came to his senses.

Jodeson glanced at Daniels. He didn't think Leyton wanted to cheat them out of money, as he had also provided potion formulas... At most, it was forced buying and selling!

No! Why did Daniels lead me astray? That guy clearly wanted to send us away and be alone with the Captain. No, I have to go back!

Thinking this, Jodeson quickly turned and ran back.

Bru Walls ignored Jodeson and Daniels' conversation. Reminding Jodeson was his responsibility as the Golden Dream's First Mate, but he indeed needed the Astronomer's potion formula.

This Pathway, due to the unique nature of Artisans, was almost monopolized by the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery, and potion formulas flowing out to the outside world were extremely rare.

On the White Agate, Bugs Bunny followed behind Klein, carefully avoiding the gazes of passersby and disguising himself as an ordinary rabbit.

It wasn't until he entered a first-class cabin room with the number 312 on the door that he relaxed, quickly hopped onto a sofa, and chattered:

"This is too tiring for a rabbit. These people on the ship really have no knowledge. Isn't it just a rabbit that can walk upright and talk!"

"You don't have to be so careful. I can use an illusion to conceal you."

Klein, in his Gehrman Sparrow persona, said in a cold voice.

"Then why did you say yesterday that I was easily exposed and didn't take me off the ship?"

"I can't maintain the illusion on you when there's a battle."

"Those weak humans, I can take them out with one claw."

Bugs Bunny felt underestimated, waving his claws and emphasizing it again.

"Who did you bring in here?"

The bathroom door opened, and a man in his thirties with singed eyebrows and deep blue eyes walked out.

Danitz's gaze swept around the room. He didn't see anyone else besides Gehrman, only a rabbit sitting on the sofa, dressed in a suit, looking like a gentleman... A rabbit?

Bugs Bunny also saw Danitz, who had just come out of the bathroom. His furry rabbit face showed human-like shock.

He turned to Klein and said:

"You also keep humans as pets?"

"He's a pirate, my hostage."

Klein tried his best to maintain his cold expression, his voice chilling, speaking concisely.

Danitz had a ghost-like expression, his gaze darting back and forth between Gehrman and the rabbit on the sofa:

"The... the rabbit talked!"

Klein gave Danitz a cold look, saying nothing.

It's just a Mystical Item. As the Fourth Mate of the Golden Dream, why is he acting so surprised? Does he think what should appear by my side is rabbit meat?

The words Danitz wanted to say were suppressed by Klein's gaze, and he sullenly shut up.

Bugs Bunny on the sofa felt that Klein's hostage looked somewhat familiar. He extended a paw, mimicking Leyton's chin-rubbing gesture when thinking, recalling where he had seen this unlucky pirate.

When Klein's gaze caught Bugs Bunny's action on the sofa, the cold expression on his face froze for a moment... How can I see so many expressions—seriousness, earnestness, conflict, contemplation—on a rabbit's face!

After much deliberation on the sofa, Bugs Bunny finally remembered where he had seen Danitz. He excitedly pointed at Danitz and shouted:

"You're 'Blazing' Danitz, the Fourth Mate of the Golden Dream, worth about 3,000 pounds as a pirate..."

When Danitz first heard the rabbit recognize him, his face was somewhat smug, but until that last phrase, "worth 3,000 pounds," his expression instantly fell.

Damn it, why is the rabbit this guy keeps as annoying as he is himself? What do you mean, 'worth 3,000 pounds'? Am I just merchandise for you to buy and sell at will?

This rabbit truly learned from Al... Klein sighed inwardly. To maintain his persona, he casually found a hard wooden chair and sat down.

Leaning back against the chair, his hands naturally clasped, he said to Danitz:

"Tell me about the famous pirates you know."

"Doesn't your rabbit already know?"

Danitz said indignantly. He felt that Gehrman Sparrow was deliberately making things difficult for him.

This is an insult! I, "Blazing" Danitz, the Fourth Mate of Vice Admiral Iceberg, a famous pirate with a bounty of 3,000 pounds... My dignity, my reputation, do not allow me to accept such an insult!

Then he saw Gehrman give him a cold look, and his body instinctively shivered.

He took a breath, smiling more terribly than crying, and said:

"Alright."

"Oh, he's a pirate who knows when to bend and when to stand firm!"

Bugs Bunny spoke at the opportune moment, his tone indecipherable as mockery or a simple statement of fact.

Danitz's expression froze for a moment, then flushed. If he weren't wary of Gehrman Sparrow nearby, he would have already turned this rabbit in a suit and tie into roasted rabbit with a single flame.

When I return to the Golden Dream, I'm going to eat rabbit meat for a week, no! A month! Braised, roasted... Danitz roared wildly in his heart.

What kind of strange things did Al teach this rabbit? Klein tried his best to maintain his cold expression, not letting himself suddenly burst into laughter.

He suddenly felt that this rabbit would be the biggest obstacle on his path to portraying a Faceless.
