Since the Demoness of Afflictions, Miss Panatiya, and the old butler Funkel had both been sent to the Foggy town by the Evernight Goddess, Leyton could only turn to the Angel of Concealment, who was a divine descent of the Goddess, beside him.

Taking a deep breath, Leyton asked with a hint of trepidation:

"Uh, do you know the whereabouts of that Conqueror Characteristic? The Royal Family? Or has it already been handed over to the Demoness Sect?"

He wasn't sure about the Evernight Goddess's attitude, so he could only hope that since she acted so swiftly and cleanly, she must already know the whereabouts of the Conqueror Characteristic.

The Angel of Concealment in front of him remained motionless and silent. Her blank expression showed no change, as if this angelic body was incapable of such expressions, merely an empty shell.

After a slight delay, she made an almost imperceptible nod, then once again concealed their figures from the real world.

Inside a Hidden manor on the outskirts of the West Borough.

Leyton followed the Angel of Concealment out of the Concealed World. The surrounding light suddenly dimmed by a degree, and something in this area seemed to be silently changing.

He subtly shivered his shoulders. In that instant, an unbidden chill rose in his heart, as if he were surrounded by calamity and fear.

The next moment, a crimson figure appeared in a glass mirror hanging on the wall.

She wore an exaggerated, elaborate red gown, yet it always revealed her fair skin in just the right places, accentuating her graceful figure. Her fiery red hair was casually draped behind her, and her features were exquisite, possessing a heroic and vibrant aura.

Around her neck hung a necklace made of different colored gemstones, and in her hands, she held a peculiar crown, covered in rust and bloodstains, encased in transparent crystal.

With a slightly dazed expression, she tumbled out of the Mirror World.

The next instant, she regained her composure, her eyes widening in surprise as her gaze fixed on the Angel of Concealment slightly ahead and to the side of Leyton.

Without hesitation, she immediately took a step back, attempting to re-enter the Mirror World, but she found nothing!

She turned her head, somewhat bewildered. The mirror behind her had vanished silently at some unknown point, and the surrounding environment was eerily quiet.

Leyton frowned as he observed this Demoness holding the Conqueror Characteristic. He felt a sense of familiarity about her, but couldn't recall where he had seen her before.

As he pondered, his gaze drifted to his front-left. It was empty... Hmm? Where was the Angel of Concealment?

He controlled his expression, looking at the empty space to his front-left, as if no one had ever stood there.

Was the divine descent reaching its limit? Or did she think this was enough? After a brief thought, Leyton's gaze returned to the Demoness opposite him.

Her face was grim, showing no expression whatsoever.

Silently, Leyton entered a state of absolute rationality, and spoke in a low voice:

"Don't try. This is the Concealed World, not connected to the Mirror World. You can't get out."

"The Concealed World? Was that the Church of the Evernight Goddess's Angel just now? She seems to have left you here. What? Did you offend her?"

After a brief moment of thought, the Demoness quickly adjusted her expression. While probing with words, she also spread mystical viruses and bacteria throughout this Concealed World.

Leyton lowered his head slightly, his expression unreadable, then raised it again, his eyes reflecting a faint blue glow.

"Light!" he murmured a Dragonese word.

The next moment, pure and clear light erupted around him, illuminating every corner, even the most minute viruses and bacteria.

The surroundings seemed to enter a realm without Darkness, and the viruses and bacteria permeating the air began to be rapidly suppressed and purified.

"My, my, the little one is quite cautious!" the red-haired Demoness exclaimed, but she did not hinder Leyton's actions. She was still wary of the Angel who had suddenly pulled her into the Concealed World and then just as suddenly disappeared.

"Your fiery red hair, bright as fire, is quite dazzling. You wouldn't happen to have switched from the Hunter Pathway to the Demoness Pathway, would you?"

"Was it because the Iron-Blooded Knight's advancement ritual team was too difficult to lead, so you chose to become a Demoness instead?"

Leyton narrowed his eyes slightly. He had finally remembered why she looked so familiar; she bore some resemblance to Sia. He even suspected they might be blood relatives.

The expression on the Demoness's face froze slightly, then quickly softened as she said, "There's a Sequence in the Hunter Pathway called Provoker. I think that suits you very well."

"Thank you for the compliment. Are you a Sauron, or an Einhorn?" Leyton asked with a very polite demeanor, a smile on his face.

The red-haired Demoness's expression froze again. She ran a hand over her chin, inadvertently touching the necklace made of different colored gemstones around her neck, seeming to ponder whether or not to kill this fellow who repeatedly provoked her.

Then, she no longer concealed her malice. Her voice remained charming, but was filled with killing intent:

"Although I don't know what that Angel of Concealment meant, it wouldn't be particularly difficult for me to kill you here."

A Demoness who advanced from the Hunter Pathway seems to possess even more charm, especially for men. Her understanding of your body even surpasses your own... What am I thinking? Calm down, be rational.

"A great figure wants that Conqueror Characteristic in your possession. He entrusted me to retrieve it. I don't think you'd mind, would you?" Leyton said calmly, regaining his thoughts through the Reader's rationality.

"A great figure? Why doesn't he come and get it himself?" Although the Demoness in front of him was curious how Leyton knew about the Conqueror Characteristic, it didn't stop her from refusing.

Leyton closed his eyes for a moment, a pleasant curve forming on his lips as he said, "He said, 'No problem!'"

The Angel of Concealment truly hadn't left. The Demoness's pupils contracted slightly. Layers of scorching black and red flames suddenly surged around her, her red hair flaring, reflecting the surrounding firelight.

The surrounding mystical viruses and bacteria surged again, directly breaking through the suppression.

A shadow covered in dark, viscous liquid suddenly rose from the ground. It spread its layers of dark wings behind it, and Darkness and corruption rapidly permeated the area.

A dark, viscous "ocean" filled with the aura of corruption faintly emerged around them.

"Angel! You're from the Aurora Order, a Blessed of the True Creator?"

"The Demoness Sect and the Aurora Order are still cooperating. Are you going to attack your allies now?" The red-haired Demoness's voice was filled with shock and surprise. How did a Blessed of the True Creator infiltrate the Church of the Evernight Goddess? And how did he know about the Conqueror Characteristic?

"Allies? We can hardly be considered allies."

"Moreover, isn't your so-called cooperation just for our Aurora Order to create a diversion and cover up what you've been doing?"

"Hand over the Conqueror Characteristic. I haven't even asked for the Demoness of Unaging Characteristic on you. That's already giving Miss Cheek a lot of face."

Leyton mimicked Mr. A's tone and expression, which contained extreme madness, constantly pressuring the other party's psychological defenses.

Coupled with Sasrir's projection, which possessed the Angelic rank and aura, the red-haired Demoness's face continuously changed, becoming increasingly unsightly.

"Heh, do you think I'll believe you? A Saint-level Characteristic right before your eyes, would you refuse?"

"Since you've already torn up the alliance..."

The next moment, her body was directly torn apart by an invisible force. This room, this manor, a corner of this Concealed World, were all torn apart simultaneously.

The effect of the Concealment was destroyed, and this Concealed World suddenly vanished.

In the real world, inside the intact manor, there was a scattering of mirror fragments on the floor in front of Leyton, along with a peculiar crown covered in rust and bloodstains.

"Knowing he's an Angel from the Hanged Man Pathway and still daring to speak recklessly... This Demoness must have switched to the Demoness Pathway because she couldn't make it in the Hunter Pathway..." Leyton murmured. Sasrir's projection earlier was a preparation he had made before falling into slumber.

He then took two steps forward, picked up the Conqueror Characteristic, and then stepped into the Spirit World, leaving the manor.

In a luxuriously decorated bedroom in the West Borough, the surface of a full-length mirror suddenly turned dim and eerie. Blurry, illusory light and shadow emerged from it, like layers of mirror fragments.

They swirled and converged in the room, eventually piecing together the figure of a graceful woman.

Amidst a flicker of light and shadow, the torn red-haired Demoness reappeared. Her face was somewhat pale. She brushed her right hand over the gemstone necklace around her neck, and after a layer of barely perceptible faint light shimmered, her condition rapidly improved.

She looked out the window. The thick fog had been mostly dispersed by the previous strong winds, and the Sun, rarely seen, had appeared outside.

"Why would the Aurora Order have an Angel in Backlund? And how did they know about our transaction with the Loen Royal Family?"

"Having lost the Conqueror Characteristic, I have no way to explain this to the Sect..."

Empress Borough, inside Red Rose Manor.

Prince Edessak sat by the French window, holding a revolver to his temple. Inside it was a bullet capable of annihilating spirits.

He turned his head, gazing longingly at the golf course outside and the horses strolling about, engraving the scene of this manor into his mind.

Bang!

He pulled the trigger.

South of the Bridge, inside an empty room.

Fors, along with Xio, arranged the prepared materials into a ritual according to the instructions in Leyton's letter.

Then, taking two steps back, she closed her eyes and meditated, visualizing a ring made of gears and chains in her mind.

As the spirituality on her body rippled like water, an incomplete ring composed of gears and chains appeared behind her.

She extended her spirituality onto the brass-colored ring behind her, and her consciousness seemed to form a mysterious connection with a certain place deep within the Spirit World.

Then she began to chant softly in ancient hermes:

"Beloved of Knowledge and Wisdom, Ancient Guardian, Eye that Understands the World, Sage Enthroned in the Sky, Guardian of Reason and Knowledge."

"I pray to you;"

"I pray for the descent of the noble one who can heal sickness and pain..."

The candlelight flickered violently, and spirituality transformed into specks of light began to converge, merging with information coming from the depths of the Spirit World.

Amidst the flashing light, a phantom unicorn appeared: its body was pure white, with a crystal-like spiral horn on its head, and wings composed of tiny crystal flakes on its back.

It neighed, then, like a ghost, passed through the wall and rushed out of the room.

It scattered layers of warm, purifying, and healing light in the air, treating the people around who were infected with the virus but had not yet died.
