A gust of wind suddenly blew from down the stairs. In Leyton's vision, two distorted Natural Spirits were stirring up a strong wind, bringing a disheveled figure rushing up.

Leyton extended his tightly clenched right hand and sprinkled a handful of gray-black Sunflower powder.

"Sun!" an ancient hermes word was uttered.

The Sunflower powder Leyton sprinkled quickly burned, emitting a strong but not irritating golden light. This light, like water, flowed in all directions. The two Natural Spirits, who were stirring up the strong wind, were touched by this light, and with a scream of "Ah!", smoke instantly rose from their bodies, and they began to evaporate.

The stirred wind stopped, and the figure caught in the wind fell to the ground in a sorry state.

A huge skeletal arm suddenly extended from the other person's stomach. Leyton's intuition immediately warned him, "This giant hand is very dangerous."

Leyton raised his right hand, and a light blue flame ignited in his palm. Then, this flame rapidly expanded, engulfing the pirate opposite him and the huge skeletal arm that was extending from his stomach. This was the Devil's 'Flame Prison'.

A voice that seemed to penetrate Spirit Bodies echoed around, causing the arm, which was constantly struggling to break through the Flame Prison, to suddenly stop moving.

An exaggerated greatsword made of crimson magma and light blue flames formed in Leyton's hand.

"You can't kill me, I am a subordinate of King of Immortality Agalito!" The pirate, who was constantly being burned by the Flame Prison, felt a fatal threat and quickly spoke.

"He's not! This is just a bluff!" another voice came from below.

The voice was somewhat anxious, seemingly very worried that Leyton would be bluffed by the other party.

Leyton had no time to listen to their argument; solving the pirate's problem was the goal. The magma sword in his hand directly pierced the pirate's head.

The huge skeletal arm seemed to lose its support all at once and fell into the Spirit World.

"You wouldn't think that a Beyonder of the Corpse Collector Pathway would be more like a subordinate of King of Immortality Agalito than me, who uses Devil abilities, would you!" Leyton sighed to the pirate's corpse, but the other party could no longer answer.

"Are you a person of the King of Immortality?" The voice from below the stairs was clearly filled with fear.

"Shouldn't you first fulfill your promise and deal with the pirates on that ship outside?" Leyton did not answer the other party's question but instead counter-questioned.

"You…you know everything?" The other party's voice became even more terrified.

Leyton could sense the other party slowly moving away from here. It seemed that he was indeed just a low-Sequence Beyonder who had mastered a Sealed Artifact that could control the undead.

"Just don't forget your promise." Leyton reminded the other party.

He didn't care who the other party was, as long as they could deal with that ship full of pirates.

"You wait here for a while and get the Beyonder characteristic that separates out." Leyton handed the small metal box used to hold the Devil emblem to Bugs Bunny.

He, himself, turned and hurried to the deck. The Sealed Artifact that could control the undead clearly had significant side effects. He wondered if the guy who dared not show his face was reliable or not.

Before reaching the deck, Leyton met Mr. Russ Coral, who was walking into the cabin with his wife and daughter. His expression was a little grim, but also somewhat relieved, very complex.

"What's the situation outside now?" Leyton intuitively felt that something might have changed outside.

Mr. Russ Coral sighed: "Outside… Alas, I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. The pirate ship from before ran away."

"A larger pirate ship just happened to pass by, that's Queen Mystic's 'Dawn'! Queen Mystic won't cause slaughter without reason, at least our lives are safe."

"Queen Mystic!" Leyton was momentarily stunned.

He had only dealt with the pirates who had infiltrated the ship, and now the developments outside had entered the next chapter? Leyton somewhat suspected this was the effect of the Beyonder characteristic Convergence.

"I'm going to my room to pack my luggage. It seems like today I'll have to lose money to avoid disaster, but at least I'm safe." Mr. Russ Coral sighed, then took his family to their room.

Since the pirates outside had been dealt with, Leyton had no intention of going to the deck. He would go back first and get that Spirit Medium characteristic.

When Leyton returned to the staircase where the battle had taken place, Bugs Bunny had already put away the extracted characteristic.

"Oh! Boss, why are you back again?" Bugs Bunny asked curiously.

"The pirate problem is solved. Let's go back to the room and wait for news." Leyton reached out and pulled Bugs Bunny onto his shoulder.

Then he put away the small metal box containing the Spirit Medium characteristic.

"Were the pirates dealt with by those undead so quickly?" Bugs Bunny thought of the terrifying appearance of those undead, and lowered his head a bit.

"They were scared away by even more powerful pirates. They didn't even care about their companions still on the ship and just fled directly." Leyton curled his lip in disdain, feeling that today's experience was somewhat absurd.

"More powerful pirates? Is it Queen Mystic you mentioned?" Bugs Bunny asked very curiously.

Leyton was stunned for a moment: "When did I mention Queen Mystic?"

"When we first boarded the ship, didn't you say it would be great if we could meet Queen Mystic!" Bugs Bunny said with his head down.

Leyton was speechless for a moment, only quickening his pace. The encounter with the Dawn was somewhat abrupt, which made Leyton have the idea of meeting Queen Mystic, but reason told him that now was not the right time.

"The impact of the Convergence effect is truly hard to guard against." Leyton sighed.

"Boss, aren't you going to meet Queen Mystic?" Bugs Bunny asked curiously after they returned to the cabin room.

"No!" Leyton shook his head.

"Why aren't you meeting me? And why did you want to meet me?" A clear female voice echoed in the room.

One by one, verdant pea vines fell from the air, covering the floor. The space in the room seemed to overlap with another space.

Leyton's mouth twitched. He always felt that the development of events was full of surprises. He turned around and looked at where the voice came from.

A young, beautiful woman sat on a swing woven from several pea vines. She wore a white shirt with lace and ribbon flowers on top, paired with a simple dark blue jacket, and beige trousers with black leather boots below.

She was gazing at Leyton with a serious expression, her eyes deep and azure, as if a condensed ocean.

"Hello! Respected Queen Mystic." Leyton naturally bowed and greeted her.

"You know me?" Although it was a question, Bernadette spoke with certainty.

"I guess you could say I know you!" Leyton nodded, not explaining how he knew her.

"Why do you want to see me?" Bernadette continued to ask, her voice lacking majesty but carrying an undeniable pressure.

"Because I want to make a deal with you, but now, this deal might have to be changed." Leyton looked at Queen Mystic opposite him.

Queen Mystic, leaning back on the swing woven from vines, did not speak, quietly observing Leyton, waiting with full pressure for his next words.

Leyton sighed slightly in his heart. This was why he didn't want to face Queen Mystic too early; when the gap between the two sides was too large, fair transactions were impossible.

"I want to go to the Future, but I don't know where Admiral of Stars is at sea. I wonder if you can send me to the Future. In exchange, I can tell you an opportunity to advance to Sequence 2." Leyton gritted his teeth and stated a not-so-important deal.

Queen Mystic's oppressive aura suddenly intensified after Leyton finished speaking. She kept staring at Leyton, neither refusing nor agreeing.

She just quietly watched, and Leyton felt his scalp tingle, even a sudden urge to run away rising in his heart.

"Why do you want to go to the Future?" Queen Mystic's voice became serious and cold.

She didn't ask about the opportunity to advance to Sequence 2, nor did she ask why he knew about the connection between her and Cattleya.

"I'm looking for the First Mate Frank Lee on the Future. I need his help with some experiments, and I also plan to drift at sea for a while to digest the potion." Leyton directly stated his purpose.

Leyton's answer reduced Queen Mystic's oppressive aura. Feeling the heavy pressure on him dissipate, Leyton finally had the leisure to observe this important figure of the mysterious world.

Bernadette's azure eyes suddenly deepened, with tiny specks of starlight flickering within them, as if a Cosmos was contained within. She was using divination.

After a while, Bernadette's eyes returned to normal, and her gaze towards Leyton softened a bit.

"Alright!"

Bernadette's answer made Leyton breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thank you. Your opportunity to advance to Sequence 2 is in Backlund, at the end of this year." Leyton, seeing Bernadette agree to his deal, thanked her and then told her a rough time.

This time corresponds to the Backlund Great Smog incident, when there was a True Creator descent event planned by the Aurora Order, which happened to meet the Sage's advancement ritual.

In fact, the Tingen Evil God's descendant descent event should also meet the conditions, but at that time, the Goddess and Adam were very likely watching from the sidelines. If he rashly participated and disrupted their plans, it could very likely bring unnecessary trouble.
