Charon helped Emerius take a few calming breaths.
"Breathe in, breathe out. The Colossus won't hurt you, and neither will I. You will be fine. We just need to get out of here and return to the Fort."
He had been trying to help his friend calm down for five minutes now, the blonde swordsman having mentally shut down after learning how Charon had managed to become the owner of a Colossus.
"How does that even work? Your summons should draw on your mana, your Novice core should not be able to sustain more than a handful of basic warriors. The Colossus should drain you to nothing, it could kill you!"
His cries fell on deaf ears as Charon just smiled and nodded, completely disinterested in the one-sided gripes.
'He just wishes he were the one with the awesome soul powers!'
Instead, he turned his focus on the larger problem: transporting the thing.
