"Inconvenience for us?" Nina was baffled by that statement.
"Listen, Marcus, I told Philip not to bother about me because I'm okay here and not because I'm with you, okay?" She tucked her hair behind her ear so she could talk better into his head.
"I don't want to go back yet because I love this place. I have never been here, and I don't know when I'll be here again if I leave, so get that into your head," she remarked and turned her face away from him.
As usual, Marcus laughed at her remarks, which usually got on her nerves.
"Being angry at me for no reason won't solve your problems, love. Like I said earlier, you just have to pretend nothing happened between us in the past; with that, we'll have an amazing vacation here," he insinuated, but Nina spat out in rejection.
"Maybe I should use a microphone to tell you loudly that I hate you before you hear me out. For God's sake, I fucking hate you, Marcus. Why is that so difficult to sink into your brain?"
