Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Wands That Weep

Not all wands choose their masters.

Some are forged by something older than destiny—older than skill, blood, or birthright.

They are carved not from trees…

…but from grief.

They do not cast spells.

They cast sorrow, shaped into hope.

And buried deep beneath the foundations of Hogwarts, behind spells that even Dumbledore feared to unseal, lay one such artifact:

The Wand That Weeps.

Aarav was about to find it.

But only if he was willing to remember what he had tried to forget.

Hidden below even the Chamber of Secrets, behind the fifth hidden floor of Hogwarts, lay the Founder's Flame—an eternal torch burning blue with unresolved intentions.

Aarav, guided by the Elder Wand and the Room of Requirement's shifting intuition, entered a stone hallway so cold, it burned.

There were no traps.

Only memories.

Projected all around him.

They weren't his.

They were the griefs of every wand that had ever been broken.

Wands of heroes… of cowards… of children lost in war.

And at the end—resting atop a pedestal of ash and music—

was the Wand That Weeps.

To bond with the wand, he had to kneel.

Place his forehead against its surface.

And feel.

The room spun—

He was back in his childhood room.

Watching his parents argue over money.Hearing that his dream of magic was "wasted genius."The moment he was hit by the truck…the pain in his last breath…

The moment Luna nearly disappeared into unbeing. The moment Harry almost didn't survive Year Seven. The time he stood before a mirror and asked himself if he was just replacing Voldemort with a shinier crown.

"This is who you were," the Wand whispered."But is it who you still are?"

Aarav didn't speak.

He just wept.

Not in shame—but in acceptance.

He wasn't whole because he was powerful.

He was whole because he was wounded, and still walking.

He touched the wand.

And it began to cry with him.

Aarav emerged with the wand hidden in his sleeve.

He found Luna gazing out a shattered window in the Astronomy Tower.

"I feel like something is missing," she whispered.

Aarav touched the Wand That Weeps to her shoulder.

"Solamora."

A soft light bloomed.

Luna smiled suddenly, quietly.

"I remember why I became a Seer. I just… forgot."

She turned to Aarav, blinking back tears.

"You gave it back to me. Without taking anything."

Aarav smiled sadly.

"That's the trick. The thing I gave you…was my memory of the night you saved me."
