Lucas blinked at the prompt that popped up on his interface. His finger tapped the "Yes" button without hesitation.

Then, a flood of notifications began to stream down his screen like a waterfall.

"Wait… if those stack…" Lucas did a mental calculation.

If it was possible to activate them together, that would mean one monster kill could earn ten times the regular experience.
"I've got to try this," Lucas thought with excitement sparkling in his eyes.
He finally understood how other players were leveling up so quickly.
Up until now, he'd thought his leveling pace was normal, but clearly, without guild benefits, he was operating at a serious disadvantage.
But with this… as long as he picked a few hours each day to grind using the buffs, he could gain so much more in a shorter period. It wasn't about working harder—it was about working smarter.
Even if he didn't find a full party every day, he could still rely on his personal monster-farming speed to make up for it. The team EXP bonus was useful but not essential.
Lucas had always worked solo. But now, for the first time, he considered forming bonds with others.

Lucas blinked again. "Vice president…?"
He opened the guild page. There, members were sorted by rank: Member, Mid-Level, Elite, Administrator, Vice President, and finally, President, which was held by Jade herself.
He noticed another familiar name—Emily Frost, the head of the guild's logistics department—was listed as one of the administrators.
But Lucas? He had been made Vice President immediately after joining. No trials, no votes, no hesitation.
This was a public promotion—and one that would shake the entire guild.
All over the guild, members received a new update notification.
"Vice President Lucas has joined the guild!"
The news dropped like a bombshell.
"Wait, what? We finally filled the vacant VP slot?!"
"Who's this guy? Where did he come from?"
"Jade picked him? No way—she never invites just anyone!"
People were already gossiping and speculating. In the eyes of the guild, being handpicked by Jade meant one thing—power.
If Jade invited someone and promoted them this fast, they must be worth the attention.
Thankfully, the career panel wasn't equipped with a built-in chat system or a live guild channel. Otherwise, the spam would be unbearable right now.

"Come on," Jade said cheerfully, "I'll show you our guild headquarters!"
She and Lucas exited the teahouse and walked out into the street.
At the gate, Jade stopped, then casually waved her hand.
A massive, jet-black motorcycle materialized out of her space inventory, its smooth frame traced with glowing blue lines. It had a futuristic and predatory look, like something out of a sci-fi movie.
Lucas's eyes lit up. "This looks… awesome."
Jade chuckled.
**"It was custom-made by our guild's S-Rank mechanical engineer. It's not just stylish—**it's built to survive the wild."
She opened her panel again and switched into a sleek black rider suit, tight-fitting leather armor that matched the bike's energy lines. Then she tossed Lucas a helmet.
"Standard vehicles? Worthless outside city limits. Monsters out there will shred them in seconds."
"But this? This has a protective shield. It can withstand multiple monster attacks before the durability drops. Unless the protection value hits zero, this baby won't even get a scratch."
Lucas caught the helmet, still admiring the machine like a kid at a car show.
"So… we're really riding out there?"
Jade nodded, hopping onto the bike. "Yep. We're going to HQ. Let's make an entrance."
Lucas climbed onto the bike behind her, adjusting the helmet.
As the engine roared to life, the street seemed to shake.
"Hold on," she said with a wink.
With a screech, the bike blasted forward, leaving behind a trail of blue light and stunned pedestrians.
