Gaileo had started to take the upper hand in his exchanges with Genbu as their intense battle raged on.
"I need to do something to turn the tide here." Genbu thought. "Alright, I'm going to pull out all the stops. No more messing around. This is the strongest attack that I'm capable of." He said as he powered up.
"What a coincidence, I was just thinking the same thing." Gaileo replied. "If you're going to use your strongest attack then I'll respond in kind." Gaileo responded by gathering his aura as well.
"Dragon Avalanche!!!!!"
"Wolf Fist: One Thousand Howlings!!!!!!!!"
Genbu's attack unleashed a powerful aura in the shape of a massive dragon that engulfed his entire body and followed the path of his fist.
Gaileo's One Thousand Howlings unleashed thousands of punches that were surrounded in an aura in the shape of a ravenous pack of wolves.
The impact of the collision between the two attacks caused a massive explosion that shook the ground for miles around. Even though the others were far away, they could still see the collision of strikes from where they were. The mountain range that had been in that region for over 1000 years had now been reduced to nothing but rubble.
Gaileo coughed up some blood before falling to a knee. Genbu remained standing and kept walking a few paces before he stopped.
Once Genbu stopped walking, his armor crumbled to pieces and he dropped flat on his face unconscious. Gaileo then stood back up and brushed himself off.
"You were truly strong. That may have been the greatest battle of my life." Gaileo said through labored breaths.
Once all the battles were concluded, and after they had seen that their officers had all been defeated the men still in the tower surrendered as they promised that they would.
With the fight between the two sides finished, Gaileo and Genbu met to discuss the terms of the Honshu tribe's surrender.
"The only way to conclude our business here should be obvious." Gaileo said I. A serious tone as he looked over the defeated Honshu tribe.
"With a feast!" Genbu said with a vigor that you would expect more from a man who had just won rather than the one who was defeated.
"Hey! That's my line!" Gaileo shouted angrily. Though he was only slightly annoyed. His intense fight with Genbu was a great bit of fun for him, therefore he already felt that Genbu was one of his great friends.
Despite just having an intense conflict, the Gaileo and Genbu armies both participated in the feasting and got along as if there was never any war at all. During the festivities, Gaileo had a private chat with Genbu.
"You know, I hate to say it, but I think it's better that you won." Genbu said.
"Why would you say that?" Gaileo asked.
"Well, as I'm sure you're aware, you are something of a celebrity up north. We were really looking forward to seeing you in action. It would have almost been disappointing to actually defeat you." Genbu said.
"Well, I'm glad I lived up to your expectations I guess."
"Yes, you met and even exceeded our expectations. In fact, we know a great many people in the North that feel the same way we do."
"What exactly do you mean?"
"Well, let me put it this way, where else are you guys supposed to be conquering?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Just trust me." Genbu said.
