Chapter 188 - Family's growth

As everyone finished their breakfast, Leon prepared to escort the twins to school. The maids took out their school uniforms and brought the twins to the bedroom. Everyone else went outside to get some fresh air.

"Adam, it's been a while since we talked," Arthur began. "I've been able to get a few business ventures going in other countries, and they thrive in many locations. The Demon Continent would be the first outside of our usual ventures. They have certain items that are both good products for selling and also necessary for alchemy experiments. Albert and I discussed this for some time and decided to go over now due to the season of their rare plant blooming."

"The Demon Continent is a big task alone. Why didn't you have Leon go with you as well?" Adam asked.

"It's for my growth! The armor you provide is sufficient as protection. And besides, I have my contact, the contract blood demon, who will help translate the language of demons," Arthur said. Adam nodded, recognizing the importance of the contract demon. "Then I shouldn't be worried about it. Good luck on your journey, Arthur," Adam said, placing his hand on his shoulder.

Albert and the others spoke to Arthur and said their goodbyes. Adam noticed Dharka's unusual behavior around Leon. He watched Dharka following Leon around, sniffing and pondering to himself.

After Arthur said his goodbyes, he set off, waving his hands as he moved further away towards the city. Leon quickly escorted the twins out, but they did not want to teleport.

"We will race to school, whoever reaches last will have to buy lunch," Alynna declared.

As both of them transformed into their armor, they held the orb in front of them and instantly summoned their dragons. Both dragons had grown bigger than before, now as tall as an adult-sized human. However, the way they stood made Adam want to laugh. Both dragons stood on two feet, their two hands folded in front of them like a dog waiting for orders. Adam noticed the saddles on both dragons as Alynna and Alyssa climbed onto their dragons' backs.

"No flying, only by land," Alyssa commanded. As both dragons started moving, walking awkwardly on two feet, their feet waddled from side to side. Adam laughed instantly as both of them raced out of their gates towards school, with Leon moving quickly from behind.

"Wait! How did they have their dragons out while still in their armor?!" Adam shouted, just realizing the new trick, but the twins were long gone from his sight.

"They'll be back later," Helena reassured Adam.

"What has happened since I'm gone?" Adam asked, surprised by the changes. "There isn't any more lines to the backyard as well," Adam noted.

"There is so much to tell you. It seems Lyra kept to her words," Albert said, smiling at Lyra.

As everyone returned back to the mansion, Albert asked Adam to take a seat.

"Are you feeling better since yesterday, son?" Albert asked gently.

"Yeah, I've been able to get my mind in check," Adam replied.

"Then if you don't mind, a few people asked to meet with you once you're back. If you don't mind, I'll call them over," Albert explained.

"Yeah, I don't mind," Adam replied.

Instantly, Albert and Helena signaled to Leon, a clear code between them. Adam, sitting down with Lyra and Azrael, felt something big was coming.
