Meanwhile, on the Crimson Hearts ship, Lara said, "You are entering Black Rose sacred grounds. Please stop."
Álfrinn replied, "We don't bear any ill intent toward Black Rose. We simply came to exterminate the threat of the Sins, as they have been a nuisance in our path."
Lara said, "Even so, we can't grant permission to enter our sacred grounds."
Álfrinn said, "We don't seek permission."
Lara said, "Okay, then. We will count you as allies. And yet, the center of the island is off-limits."
Álfrinn said, "Understood."
As Lara went away, Hǫfuðbjǫrn stated, "I will take care of Wrath. Everyone else, do whatever you want."
Alem said, "Pride's head is mine."
Líni said, "May we actually work on our accords?"
Álfrinn said, "You are with me, emo wanna-be demon."
Líni said, "I will assist if you require."
As they made landfall, Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "Do whatever you need."
Álfrinn said, "Let's go, Líni."
Líni said, "Of course."
As Liebe, Licht, and M charged through the forest, Licht said, "Why the hell are we going through instead of flying?"
Liebe said, "We can't waste mana. Some of the biggest players in the world are here. If we run out, we're dead meat."
M said, "I can go all out here, right?"
Liebe said, "Yeah. And tell me what happens next."
M said, "Wait—"
As they stopped, M said, "Look out!"
As they felt a huge mana fluctuation, Liebe said, "Fall back!"
They barely managed to dodge a huge attack. Licht said, "What the hell was that?"
Liebe said, "Hǫfuðbjǫrn. I fought him once when I was in the Empire, but he is a total monster."
Licht said, "I can see that. Dude is a freak."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "Not as precise as Geno."
His attack devastated half of the island and destroyed two of the ships.
"Well, time to try again," he muttered.
As Pride appeared before him and said, "Mr. Hǫfuðbjǫrn, what a pleasant surprise."
Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "How dare you, Pride."
Pride said, "Calm down. If girls are what you want, I can promise you—join us, and we have plenty in Mikill. And they are finer than the so-called goddess you worship."
Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "That's blasphemy against her. Now—Flame Magic: Eternal Burn!"
Pride said, "Barrier Magic: Endless Shield!"
As Pride was knocked back, he said, "Now that was a solid hit. Back me actually holding my own—"
As a huge slash appeared across his cheek, Pride said, "What the hell?!"
Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "You dare attempt to make me forget the truth of the woman who saved me from the pit of darkness? And it is because of her love I was able to survive. And now you expect me to forget that? How dare you. For committing such a grave crime, with this blade, I will rip you apart—the greatsword blessed by the holy flames of Lady Alice."
Pride said, "What the hell is he? His will alone is far beyond human."
Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "I will end you now. King's Roar: Afterglow—Flame Magic: Golden Blaze Strike!"
As he swung his great blade, Pride said, "Barrier Magic: Point—"
As he teleported away, Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "The bastard got away. But now the ships have made landfall."
Meanwhile, in the forest, as Liebe, Licht, and M were rushing through, Licht said, "What the hell was that? It was the King's Roar, but on such a scale."
Liebe said, "It's Hǫfuðbjǫrn, that's for sure. It's said he is the man with the greatest strength of will."
Licht said, "Figures."
As they were attacked by a foe, Licht said, "Who the hell are you?"
Líni said, "None in particular. I simply intend to claim the lives of everyone except the champion."
Licht said, "Go, Liebe. We will handle this clown."
M said, "By the time you reach camp, we will have shown this emo wanna-be where the ground is."
Líni said, "Umm, I'm not an emo."
As Liebe went through, Licht said, "Dude, you are creepy."
M said, "For once, we agree."
As Líni began to twiddle his thumbs and said, "I'm not an emo. I'm the greatest destroyer who will cause—"
Licht said, "No one cares."
As Licht attacked, Líni said, "Blood Magic: Burn Altar!"
As his blood scattered on the ground, his personality began to change, and he ruthlessly attacked M and Licht.
As Liebe was running, a voice said, "Scale Magic: Ruin Guards!"
Two monsters tried to stop Liebe. Liebe said, "Black Slash!" and dealt with them.
As Liebe tried to attack the man, his attack didn't even scratch him.
The man said, "I'm Sloth. And because of Pride's help, I'm unstoppable."
As he punched Liebe, Liebe was sent back in a single strike. Liebe thought, What the hell was that?
As Sloth went behind him and punched him into the ground, Liebe thought, What the hell is he? How does a punch hurt so much?
As Liebe was on his hands and legs, bleeding from his face, Sloth said, "Your story ends here."
As he continued to punch Liebe's head into the ground, the ground was covered in red. Liebe said, "Looks like it's the end of me. All that training was for nothing."
As Sloth was going away, Álfrinn said, "Where the hell are you going, ugly?"
Sloth said, "Oh, a God-Kin and a Crimson Heart at that too? It will be a pleasure to kill you."
Álfrinn said, "It isn't over yet."
As Álfrinn threw the new dual swords into the ground, Álfrinn said, "God damn, get up, half-breed harebrained fool!"
