With the full backing of the United Territories and the Coabey Coalition, they planned on raising their beloved daughter, Esperanza, to practice her mother’s storm magic as a divine child of the Storm and Lion. 

But when trouble finds them from across the sea, in the ancestral lands of the Matteo’s, Veracchia, Elena and Niegal must race against time, and the Church, to save their family from a fate worse then death. 

Can love survive the aftermath of war? Can they survive the truth of the Matteo bloodline, even if it costs them everything? 

VOLUME 3: 

Years after the events of Volume 2, the vessels of Guabancex and El León Negro reckon with the death of the Behike. Niegal faces increasingly disturbing visions and a god who grows more restless and wrathful by the day, and Elena contends with the public increasingly demanding the goddess within to become something she could never be. 

When a mysterious stranger arrives and triggers something dangerous in Esperanza, the family must travel to rescue her from the clutches of a dangerous cult who wants nothing more than to make the divine child their Queen. 

Elena and Niegal face their greatest challenge yet. His wrath pushes her away, and the kindness of a stranger saved by the compulsion of Guabancex makes Elena question everything they’ve built. 

Can love survive divine wrath and destiny? For a family of magic and fate, nothing could ever come easy.
