Of course, it was Makarov.
"Don't be stupid! Old man, your old body can't take it. It's what I started, I can take the consequences of my own action!" Laxus roared at Makarov
"Calm down, Laxus. It's what a family is. What kind of grandfather wouldn't do this in this situation." Makarov said calmly before continuing
"Stop worrying about unnecessary things. I'm a member of 'Ten wizard saints'. I won't die from this much. Just ask Porlyusica for an antidote for the poison." Makarov said, creating a somber atmosphere
"Grandpa…" Laxus was moved, tears streaming down his face
Cana and Grey were speechless in this situation.
Just as Makarov was about to touch the 'trauma sphere'
"Wait, that's enough. You don't have to do that."
Shun said with a teasing smile
"You little brat, was joking in this situation?!" Makarov was furious
"Of course not, everything I said is true." Shun said exaggeratedly waving his arm in front of himself
Makarov was speechless…
"I said someone has to take it. Just wait here for a bit." Shun finished his sentence, then disappeared from everyone's view in an instant.
After about a minute, Shun came back with an unconscious monster. It resembled a gorilla. It was large, monstrous creature with sharp claws and fangs. Its name is Vulcan. A monster that appeared during the early episodes in Fairy Tail. It lives in a snow mountain.
Shun did a quick trip and caught it. Now that his 'Lost Magic Efficiency' in short LME was at 20% he can move way faster with his paw recoils. In the past he had to go slower because if he collides with something in the recoil speed. The injuries won't be a joke.
Returning to the situation
To everyone's surprise Shun just threw the unconscious Vulcan to the 'trauma sphere'.
"Don't look at it. It will be quite a sight." Shun reminded Cana and Grey
Just from the first touch, the Vulcan woke up and let out a shriek of pure indulated shock. Its massive form seized, every muscle locking as a universe of pain that was never meant to be for it flooded its nervous system.
Soon enough, the scream stopped and the poor Vulcan died.
'Is this considered an animal abuse?' Shun thought amusedly
'I never tested it before, but as expected this method worked good.'
"By the way, master. I recruited few talented kids. They will show up tomorrow morning. Try to recruit them."
Shun said then disappeared. Not bothering to deal with the aftermath. His little prank went too far and made someone unexpected cry.
While everyone was not sure what to do. Suddenly someone exclaimed
"Shun is so kind!!"
"Huh?! How come?" Grey asked Cana
"Master and Laxus always acted reserved towards each other. Shun planned this all out and helped them reconcile!" Cana said with admiration in her eyes
Everyone: "…"

As everyone was doubting whether Cana was right or not, the protagonist of their debates had already returned to his house and fell asleep.
Next morning
Shun woke up and made simple breakfast for himself. After eating and refreshing himself, he started walking to the guild.
"Did they already arrive?" Shun wondered to himself
When he arrived at the guild, someone suddenly attacked him. The one who punched him was very strong, but since his Observation Haki didn't sense any ill intent Shun didn't dodge and got hit.
"Ouch. What was that for?" Shun asked Makarov who bonked him on the head
"You and your stupid pranks…" Makarov grumbled
Laxus was in the guild, but he just glared angrily and didn't say anything.
After some time, Makarov started speaking again
"So who are the kids that you recruited?"
"I found them while doing my mission. They were locked in a prison by Zeref cult worshippers. They are quite talented in magic. According to my instinct." Shun said and shrugged
"Zeref cult worshippers?!" Makarov asked with a serious face
"Yeah, they were kidnapping villagers and forcing them to build some type of tower." Shun said calmly
"So what did you do, did you rescue all of them?"
"I tried… but there was a super strong guy. Might even be stronger than you. I had to get out of there after saving only 5 kids. I barely made it out alive." Shun said casually
"What was his name, did he tell you his name or where he work for?" Makarov asked
"He said he was 'Zero'. 'The one who will reduce everything to Zero'. Got any clue?" Shun asked
"Never heard of him." Makarov replied
'Well, no surprise. That guy was undercover at magic council. Now that I think of it, almost everyone got a spy in the Magic council. Even our guild…'
As the two were making small talks, there was a commotion outside.
Five paw shaped translucent pods were carrying children.
They were asleep.
"Master, bring some food. They're probably hungry." Shun said

*Munch-* *gnaw*
The newly arrived kids were munching down the foods.
"Eat it slowly, no one is going to take them away." Makarov smiled kindly
After learning the situation the guild kindly took them in and started feeding them
There were occasional sobs, making the guild members pity the kids.
"What are your names?" Makarov asked kindly
"I'm Sorano. This is Erik, Sawyer, Richard and Macbeth. Nice to meet you." Sorano, who took the role of a big sister of the group introduced them in a timid voice
"I see. I'm Makarov. Guild master of the Fairy Tail. Nice to meet you kids too." Makarov said with a gentle smile
After they calmed down, Makarov asked.
"Where is your home. Do you remember it?" Makarov asked
To which all of them had the same story
"Dark guild members attacked and killed everyone who resisted. Their homes were destroyed too."
Makarov already knew, still had a heavy expression
"If you don't have a place to go. You can join Fairy Tail."
"Fairy Tail?" Sorano asked with a small voice
Makarov placed a hand on his own chest, over the fairy tail emblem. "It is a family. If you cannot call any place a 'home' then you can find one with us. You can find a new reason to live."
"But I have to find my little sister…" Sorano wanted to join but hesitated
Hearing this Richard also said "my brother too…"
"Don't worry, we will help you find them. You have better chance at finding them with us." Makarov said gently
The children had no more reason to hesitate and nodded eagerly with a smile

'As expected of Makarov. He was generations ahead from the others. Recruiting talents from young age…' Shun who was sitting at the corner table with Grey and Cana, watching it unfold was thinking to himself
'Well, enough with the jokes. He would've recruited them even if they were talentless. It's the perfect situation for me. As the young talents grow up, Makarov will be retiring and I will be taking over as the guild master.' Shun thought grinning to himself
'I will give their magics to them after learning them myself. But it's surprisingly hard even with the magic glasses… For now I will give the Celestial magic book and Reflector magic, when I get the chance.
Since the situation ended good, he decided to start training outside and stood up.
"Where are you going?" Cana asked
"To train."
Seeing Shun head outside, Oracion Seis five said they were gonna thank him and followed him.
As Shun arrived at the previous spot where he dueled Laxus, he looked back and asked casually
"Is there anything you need from me?"
"…"
"We wanted to thank you…" Sorano the big sister of the group said and bowed. The other four also bowed.
"Also… we want to be strong like you… Can you teach us magic?" Sorano said with timid voice
However, Shun's words broke their tiny hearts
"I can't teach you magic, because I was already strong from the start."
As they were looking down Shun continued
"However, I can help you become stronger."
Hearing the latter sentence, their eyes lit up.
Shun took 5 set of kids' clothes, which he bought before they came, from his inventory ring and handed to them.
"First, change from those rags." Shun said which caused them to blush
After few minutes, they finished changing Shun handed them their magic books that they used in the original.
"Take them and ask master for help. I didn't finish reading some of them, so I will be asking for it later. Well now go back." Shun said with a small smile
"We will become strong and pay you back!" Sorano and the kids said then went back with an excited smile.
"Of course, you will." Shun said in a low voice only he could hear, then returned to practicing his Poison Dragon Slayer magic. He still needs to come up with a new moves. After all other dragon slayers all got ultimate skills, but he only got two basic magics. No matter how long he thought, he doesn't remember Cobra in the original using any special magics.
