The Vanguard Action Squad had ten members.
Led by Dabi, who had already proved himself at I-Island, were Himiko Toga, Twice, Spinner, Mr. Compress, Magne, Muscular, Mustard, Moonfish, and the Chainsaw Nomu.
Twice had created only four Clones initially, all of them having the modified Quirk Amplification Device.
While Deku defeated real Muscular, the Villain's Clone succumbed to a raging, wild Dark Shadow.
When the Pussycats exploded Magne's Clone in a pile of mud, it left Spinner alone, allowing them to subdue him later easily.
Mr. Compress' Clone was outmaneuvered by Sand and Midnight, despite the latter possessing the greatest advantage. However, because of his unfamiliarity with the sudden increase in his Quirk, the Clone failed to actually put that power to use effectively, which ultimately cost him his life.
The real Mr. Compress, on the other hand, had taken advantage of his unhindered mobility, compressing Uraraka and Tsuyu into marbles when they were fighting Himiko Toga.
Unlike Mustard, who had held the greatest element of surprise but still got defeated early in the game, it was Spinner's Clone who was turning out to be the wildest card on the field.
Despite his rage-fueled actions, the Clone somehow kept attacking Gran Torino, ultimately getting the old Hero down. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the Pro crashed near Bakugo and Tenya, who were fighting Moonfish at that time.
The people in the greatest danger weren't these two students, though.
Dabi's Clone appeared right after Muscular's Clone's death, instantly making Dark Shadow vanish with his intensified white-purple fire accidentally. Even if Mirko was with those two now, she was injured enough to not gain the upper hand over Dabi, barely managing to keep the students alive.
Meanwhile, Momo was finding herself losing the strength to take another step as the Nomu chased her. If it weren't for the Grenades, which she had learned to create en masse during the break and mastered in the last week, then the Nomu would have already caught her.
The fact that the Vanguard Action Squad wanted her alive also played in her favor, the Nomu not succumbing to a desperate charge, as the real Dabi, with Twice next to him, controlled its movements via voice command from afar.
So, with so many scenes playing out, the question was…
… what was the real Magne up to?

Ragdoll coughed up blood as Magne slammed her magnetic pillar on the Pro's back.
The Pro had left Mandalay and Tiger right after the mountain's sudden appearance in the forest. With Search, she knew the locations of all the students. Surprisingly, she hadn't even reached Uraraka and Tsuyu, who were the nearest to her, when a magnetic force had pulled her towards it.
Since then, she had been fighting the real Magne at an unknown location, finally losing to the Villain with a much more powerful and offensive Quirk.
A blackness swirled behind Magne, two yellow eyes taking shape within it.
"You got her?" Kurogiri asked.
Magne moved aside and let the effective coordinator of this attack on the campsite look at the passed-out Hero.
"Why do you want her?" Magne asked, curious.
Among the members of the Vanguard Action Squad, only she and Dabi knew that they had two goals — Momo, the girl with the Creation Quirk, and Ragdoll of the Wild, Wild Pussycats.
"That is not for you to know," Kurogiri flatly replied. "Throw her inside…"
Magne shrugged, lifting Ragdoll by grabbing her head.
With one gentle flick, the Villain threw the Pro toward the blackness.
However, just before Kurogiri could swallow Ragdoll, a figure blurred past between the two Villains with a hiss, his red cap fluttering mightily against the wind.
Simultaneously, as Ragdoll's savior's feet skidded over the earth, two bangs rang out behind him.
The first bang echoed from Magne's face, who was punched by the blur so fast that she had even failed to notice it. The second bang was a suppressed one, riling up the blackness like turbulent water.
Comedy Hero: Lemillion, who had been gathering the fallen students, put Ragdoll down and turned around, his face lacking all smiles.
"… No device on your head," he said, looking at Magne and falling into the earth. "I wonder… if you can still affect my body…"

Midoriya blurred on the pathway, his bluish right hand flapping like a piece of cloth.
Instead of taking the path that the students were taking to step inside the forest for the Pussycats' Horror House game, he had taken the path that the students were supposed to take to return.

… and all he remembered was the fiery pillar of death that had almost burned him, his friends, and All Might to death on I-Island.
Dabi's burnt mouth gained the widest grin as he saw the dread on Midoriya's face.
"You must be the one who defeated Muscular," he instantly guessed, creating an enormous, mansion-sized fireball. "Don't worry. It won't hurt… too much."
"Like I will let you…" Mirko shouted, throwing herself forward.
Shoji and Fumikage screamed behind her, and Midoriya couldn't even take his eyes off the attack.
Dabi, taking extreme joy in the scene unfolding in his eyes, threw the fireball.
"…"
Mirko, Shoji, Fumikage, Midoriya, and even Dabi himself gawked as all the fire he carried… just vanished.
And then, with a majestic CAWING-ROAR, a black wyvern descended, ripping off the clone with its massive claws!
