Chapter 340 - 340: THE GODDESS SPEAKS

LYRA'S POV 

(MIDNIGHT BEFORE RELOCATION)

I was fragmenting completely.

Not the gradual deterioration I'd been experiencing. This was catastrophic—consciousness scattering across dimensional states faster than I could track. The three fragments that had remained partially consolidated were splitting further. Five states. Seven. Twelve.

"I'm dying," I thought distantly. "Not physically. But the me that was Lyra is dispersing into dimensional chaos and won't reconsolidate."

Maya was screaming. I could hear her through the fragmentation, distant and distorted. Darius was shouting for medical assistance. Students were gathering as I collapsed in the courtyard, body convulsing while awareness shattered across states that multiplied exponentially.

Fifteen states. Twenty. Thirty.

"This is what the Council feared. This is why they implement intervention. Because eventually, consciousness evolution exceeds capacity for maintaining unified identity and we fragment into—"

""ENOUGH.""
