Chapter 5: A Day with Violet

The morning mist lingered over Cerulean Garden, a serene park known for its blooming flowers and tranquil ponds. It was a world apart from the noisy city streets — peaceful, refined, almost poetic.

Alex stood near a stone archway draped with purple wisteria, waiting. for Violet for his Next date with violet. Then she appeared.

Her long indigo hair cascaded softly over her shoulders, and her lavender eyes reflected the early light like calm water. She wore a simple, elegant dress the color of lilac, with a small pendant shaped like a teardrop resting at her collarbone.

"You came early," she said softly, her voice as smooth as silk.

"how can I keep a lady waiting for me ," Alex replied, smiling faintly.

She chuckled — a quiet, graceful sound. " you are such a sweet talker Alex."

Then they began walking side by side through the winding path. Cherry blossoms fluttered gently in the breeze, petals brushing past their hands as they walked. Violet carried a small sketchbook under one arm.

"I didn't know you draw," Alex said, glancing at it.

"Oh, I don't show people often," she admitted. "It's… personal. But maybe today, I'll make an exception."

He gave her a curious look, and she smiled softly. "You'll see later."

They stopped by a pond where a family of horseadrifted across the water, their reflections rippling with every movement. Violet sat down on a nearby bench, motioning for him to join. She opened her sketchbook and began to draw, her movements delicate yet confident.

Alex watched quietly, admiring the grace in every stroke of her pencil.

"You're very focused," he said.

"I like capturing moments," she murmured, not looking up. "They slip away too fast otherwise. People, feelings, sunlight… everything fades. But if I draw it, even just a little, it stays."

He smiled faintly. "You sound like an artist."

"I suppose I am," she said with a playful hint. "And you — you're someone who sees the world differently too, aren't you? Always calm, always observing."

Alex tilted his head. "Is that how you see me?"

Her gaze lifted from the page to meet his. "Yes. You're quiet, but not distant. You make people feel seen… even when you say nothing."

For a moment, the air between them felt still — warm and close. Alex's eyes softened. "You are quite the observer."

"That's a habit I adopted , which help me in identifying a person ," she said with a small, wistful smile.

After a while, she turned the sketchbook toward him. On the page was a charcoal sketch — the garden around them, the sunlight through the petals, and him, sitting just as he was now, looking at her.

"It's… beautiful," Alex said qu.

Violet looked down, a faint blush touching her cheeks. "It's just a rough sketch. But thank you."

He leaned slightly closer, his voice gentle. "No — it's perfect. You captured the feeling of the moment."

Her smile grew softer, almost shy. "That's all I wanted because it my most happiest moment in life."

They lingered there, letting time pass in silence — not the awkward kind, but the kind that felt safe and peaceful.

Eventually, they walked toward the greenhouse café at the garden's edge. The air inside was warm, fragrant with lavender and honey.

As they sat by the window, Violet stirred her tea, her fingers tracing the rim of the cup. "You know," she began softly, "Daisy, Lily and I usually talk about you for past few days after Metting you ."

"Oh?" Alex raised a brow. "Should I be worried or happy?"

She laughed quietly. " Daisy says you were kind and gentle . Lily said you were too serious and focus when battling . But I…" She paused, meeting his gaze. "I said you were kind. The kind of person who listens even when no one's speaking."

Alex looked at her for a moment before replying, "And you — you're the kind who speaks even when she doesn't use words."

Her breath caught slightly. "…That's poetic."

"It's true," he said, his tone sincere. "You don't need noise to be heard."

For a few seconds, she didn't reply — just looked at him with those gentle violet eyes, and then smiled faintly. "You always know what to say, don't you?"

He shook his head. "Only when it matters."

The sunlight shifted across her face, and she reached out impulsively — her fingers brushing his hand on the table. "Thank you," she whispered. "For spending today with me."

He turned his hand slightly, letting his fingers intertwine with hers. "It's my pleasure."

Seeing this Alex gently raise violet chin and kiss her lips which surprise violet but she doesn't resist instead follow his movements.

Outside, the garden shimmered with gold as the afternoon deepened. The world seemed to fade away
