Chapter 252 - Chapter 252: Judgment Across the Other End of the Planet

The air in the underground space was thick and heavy, permeated with the stench of decay and blood.

Gu La's eyes were as sharp as an eagle's, piercing through layers of temporal bends to observe the nauseating scene below. The wails of tormented souls echoed in his ears—the final cries of the innocent victims tortured to death by the evil soul masters.

"Three Titled evil soul masters."

Gu La muttered silently, his gaze locking onto the three figures seated at the center of the blood pool. Their bodies were enveloped in dark red soul power fluctuations, each breath seemingly devouring the life force around them.

Floating in the blood pool were mutilated corpses, some still twitching faintly—clearly thrown in while still alive.

Gu La's fingers tightened unconsciously. He had seen the cruel methods of evil soul masters before, but every time he witnessed such scenes, the rage that surged from deep within still scorched his rationality. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.

"Now is not the time for impulsiveness."

Gu La reminded himself inwardly. He closed his eyes, sensing the flow of soul power within him—Level 46. For an ordinary soul master, this was already a respectable cultivation level, but against three Titled Douluos, this amount of strength was like that of an ant.

He opened his eyes, a cold smile forming on his lips.

Yes, his main body's strength was indeed insufficient to confront these evil soul masters. But he didn't rely solely on his main body. The Groudon clone could temporarily unleash god-level power, but doing so would be too conspicuous and risk alerting others.

And though his "Time Lock" ability was powerful, it was limited by his soul power level, lasting only three to four seconds at most.

"Enough."

Gu La murmured softly. His right hand brushed over the soul tool bracelet on his left wrist—a life-saving tool gifted to him by Leng Yaozhu.

But today, he didn't need to rely on external tools. His third soul ring flickered faintly, and the Forest Sea Domain unfolded in his consciousness—a special realm constructed from his soul power, capable of storing various soul skills and energies.

Within the Forest Sea Domain, nine crimson flames moved like living creatures—phoenix flames left behind by Leng Yaozhu. Each contained the terrifying power of a Limit Douluo.

In addition, there were ninety energy clusters of various forms—soul skills he had collected or created over the years, with powers ranging from Soul Emperor to Titled Douluo levels.

Gu La's gaze turned icy and focused. He began planning his attack route in his mind. His primary target was the evil soul master seated at the head of the group. Judging by their soul power fluctuations, this person was the strongest among the three, possibly a Super Douluo.

The other two Titled Douluos sat on either side, both at around the ninety-second level. In the underground space, there were about thirty other evil soul masters, ranging from Soul Elders to Soul Douluos.

"One phoenix flame to eliminate the leader, and the remaining soul skills concentrated on the two subordinates and the group of evil soul masters."

Gu La quickly devised a plan. Without hesitation, soul power surged within him, and his third soul ring shone brightly.

"Forest Sea Domain, release!"

In an instant, a crimson flame shot out from the void, crossing dimensions of time with speed too fast for even Titled Douluos to react.

The phoenix flame was only forearm-sized but carried apocalyptic power. Wherever it passed, the air was scorched into distortion.

The leading evil soul master seemed to sense danger and abruptly opened his eyes—eyes completely filled with blood, devoid of pupils, radiating endless madness and bloodlust.

His lips parted, as if to sound an alarm, but the phoenix flame had already struck his chest.

No explosion, no scream.

The moment the flame touched him, the evil soul master's body disintegrated into ash from feet to head at a visible speed, as if erased by an eraser.

The entire process was eerily silent. Only after he vanished completely did a clear phoenix cry echo through the space, as if declaring righteous judgment.

It all happened too fast; the other two Titled Douluos hadn't even realized their leader had fallen.

Gu La gave them no time to react. Soul skills from the Forest Sea Domain rained down like a storm.

"Forest of Ten Thousand Illusions!"

Gu La murmured, his Spirit Domain-level mental power constructing a labyrinthine illusion maze that only those at the late stages of the Spirit Domain could hope to unravel, trapping one Titled Douluo.

"Block!"

An invisible barrier suddenly rose beneath the Titled Douluo on the right, cutting off his retreat.

The underground space began to violently tremble. The "Earthquake" Gu La used did more damage in the confined environment. (T/N: Similar to more damage if the opponent uses Dig.)

The ceiling started to collapse, massive boulders crashing down onto the evil soul masters below. Screams erupted everywhere; some lower-level soul masters were instantly crushed into pulp.

"Precipice Blades!"

Massive stone blades erupted from the ground, bisecting five fleeing evil soul masters.

"Forest Breath!" Green mist spread out, condensing into spheres. Those who inhaled it fell to the ground convulsing as their soul power was rapidly corroded.

This was the resentment of the dead!

But the deadliest attack came from Qing Luli's legacy—a soul-binding technique.

A translucent, glass-like light spread outward like rippling water, appearing gentle yet striking directly at the soul. Those who had narrowly avoided physical attacks suddenly clutched their heads, emitting inhuman screams.

From another dimension, Gu La observed coldly from above.

This move, "Six Roots Pure, Free from All Troubles," specifically targeted the psychological weaknesses of evil soul masters. Its suppressive effect was no less potent than sacred power, and it couldn't be defended against with soul power or mental strength.

He saw an evil Soul Emperor kneel, tears of blood streaming from his eyes, muttering deliriously, "I didn't mean to… I just wanted to save her…"

Clearly, he was recalling a murdered relative. Another evil Soul Sage laughed maniacally, his laughter filled with twisted pleasure and deeply hidden fear.

The two trapped Titled Douluos weren't spared either. The one ensnared by the Forest of Ten Thousand Illusions suddenly stopped struggling, confusion filling his eyes.

"What have I been pursuing my whole life?"

He murmured. In this brief moment of hesitation, Gu La's "Flamethrower" struck his head, reducing him to charred remains.

The Titled Douluo on the right had stronger willpower. He roared furiously, his body erupting with bloody soul power, temporarily breaking free from the "Block".

But just as he prepared to retaliate with a soul skill, a glass-like flame pierced through his chest.

"No… impossible…"

He looked down at the spreading glass-like cracks on his chest, disbelief filling his eyes.

As a Titled Douluo, his soul power defense should have been unbreakable, but this attack struck directly at his soul.

"What… is this?"

In his dying moments, he searched for the unseen enemy, seeking answers.

"Purification."

Gu La answered indifferently.

As his voice faded, the evil soul master's body shattered like broken glass, dissolving into countless points of light in the air.

The underground space had become a ruin.

Gu La floated in mid-air, expressionlessly surveying the devastation at the other end of Douluo Star. Most of the surviving evil soul masters were gravely injured and near death; a few with mobility were fleeing in panic.

"Nature's Madness."

The final strike arrived—a green energy wave spread outward from the blood altar.

Wherever it passed, the surviving evil soul masters collapsed, their life force forcibly drained and returned to the desecrated earth.

When the last evil soul master stopped breathing, Gu La took one final look. The blood pool had dried up, and the mutilated corpses finally found rest.
