"Congratulations, Senpai Sakumo."
Minato said with a smile. Sakumo Hatake glanced sideways and nodded.
Junko Watanabe, still unconscious, was leaning on his shoulder, so Sakumo tried not to make any noise.
However, after these small movements of his, Junko gradually opened her eyes, still resting against his shoulder.
"What exactly happened to me?"
Junko spoke slowly. She still felt dizzy, so she didn't immediately lift her head from Sakumo's shoulder.
Looking around slightly, she realized they were in Konoha's hospital.
It wasn't hard to figure out that everyone must have brought her here after she fainted.
Turning her gaze slightly, she had originally thought that because she had been unconscious, Sakumo would be wearing an anxious expression.
But what met her eyes instead was Sakumo's face showing a faint smile, his eyes filled with tenderness.
At the same time, at the far end of the hospital corridor, Mikoto finally arrived after finishing up at the bridal shop. She quickly made her way over to the group.
"How is Sister Junko's physical condition?" Mikoto asked with concern.
Kushina's youthful face beamed with excitement as she grabbed Mikoto's hands, exclaiming joyfully, "She's pregnant!"
Upon hearing this, Mikoto's expression froze for a moment, just like everyone else before her.
Her words also reached Junko's ears, causing her to widen her beautiful eyes slightly, stunned into silence.
"So amazing!" Several seconds later, Mikoto finally reacted. Though usually calm, she couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Shh, we're in a hospital. Be quiet."
Kushina immediately raised her slender finger to Mikoto's lips, signaling her to quiet down while glancing around nervously.
Mikoto instantly fell silent, her dark pupils shifting uneasily, as if she had committed a grave mistake.
Seeing the two girls' reactions, Minato and Nawaki standing beside them couldn't help but softly chuckle.
Only Junko looked up at Sakumo and asked, "Really?"
"Yeah, it's true!" Sakumo nodded firmly with a smile.
Instantly, intense joy sparkled in Junko's beautiful eyes. Quickly, she kissed Sakumo lightly on his cheek.
Her pretty face lit up with a blissful smile. Nearby, Kushina, Mikoto, and Nawaki all blushed.
Still young and inexperienced, their innocent hearts were quite puzzled and flustered by what they'd just witnessed.
Minato stood nearby, quietly smiling, when another couple approached from the far end of the hospital corridor.
Junko was only one month pregnant, so no signs were noticeable yet. However, the woman of this approaching couple already had a large belly—about seven or eight months along, close to giving birth.
Her husband supported her gently, and the man was wearing a bizarrely tight green spandex jumpsuit. What's more, his eyebrows were unusually thick and striking.
As the couple drew closer, Minato stepped forward politely and greeted, "Duy!"
"It's you, Minato," Might Duy replied cheerfully.
Nearby, Kushina and the others also noticed Might Duy, but didn't greet him. They weren't familiar with him, and more importantly, he was just a Genin in Konoha.
Everyone here except Kushina was at least a Chunin.
Minato naturally understood their thinking, yet only he knew that this unremarkable-looking man was absolutely not as weak as he appeared on the surface.
Who didn't know about the feat of Might Duy, a Konoha Genin, fighting alone against the Seven Swords of the Bloody Mist during The Third Great Ninja War using [Eight Gates]?
He was an extremely powerful expert whose strength was far beyond that of a Jonin, in no way inferior to the Konoha Sannin or the legendary Might Guy.
Though he only mastered Taijutsu and couldn't use any Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, he remained a remarkably strong ninja worthy of respect—a true pioneer of Konoha.
"Duy, is your wife close to giving birth?" Sakumo greeted Might Duy warmly and didn't look down on him just because he was a Genin.
"Yeah, already eight months," Might Duy answered, then noticed the hospital report in Sakumo's hand. "Your wife is also pregnant?"
"That's right, just found out—about one and a half months along." The two soon-to-be fathers grinned at each other like old friends.
"Have you decided on names for your kids yet?" Sakumo asked again.
"Guy."
"A fine name..."
The two couples chatted briefly before Might Duy escorted his wife inside for her checkup.
Watching them leave, Minato couldn't help but smile slightly.
The history he had once known had already changed, yet it seemed the connection between those two kids stayed the same.
Kakashi and Might Guy were shinobi from the same graduating class—one was a prodigy who amazed the Ninja Academy, while the other was regarded as the class loser.
Yet despite this, they regarded each other as rivals.
Thinking about this, Minato couldn't help but recall the Uchiha disciple who sacrificed himself to save Kakashi during the Kannabi Bridge battle.
"Obito..."
A sadness settled over Minato. Obito was one year older than Kakashi—if everything hadn't completely changed yet, then Obito should have already been born by now.
"Minato, are you okay?" Kushina nudged him gently, pulling him back from his thoughts.
"It's nothing," Minato said with a small smile, brushing it off.
After getting checked out by the doctor, everyone left Konoha Hospital.
...
A few days later came Sakumo's wedding ceremony.
Without doubt, the wedding of the famous White Fang of Konoha was grand and splendid, with the Third Hokage personally attending to bless the newlyweds.
At this time, clan leaders from all across Konoha gathered without exception.
Minato and Kushina had been asked by Sakumo and Junko to serve as flower bearers during the wedding.
Considering their age, it wasn't really appropriate at first, but after persistent requests from the couple, Minato could only agree reluctantly.
Today, Kushina looked especially excited. She wore a well-fitted wedding dress without makeup, her hair still adorned with the hairpin Minato had given her.
Minato himself wore a suit. His naturally bright and handsome appearance, when dressed like this, made him look even more dashing.
Walking behind Sakumo and Junko Watanabe, the two quietly stole the spotlight away from the bride and groom.
"Kushina, do you like weddings?"
During the wedding ceremony, Minato turned to her and asked,
"Mm, I like it!" Kushina gave a delicate nod, her beautiful face lit up with an innocently joyful smile, her simple words brimming with deep delight.
For a fleeting moment, Minato saw a vision — a crimson-haired woman in a white wedding gown stood shyly before him, her exquisite face blushing with shyness, yet overflowing with happiness and pure bliss.
Fixing his eyes on the Kushina before him, Minato made a silent vow in his heart.
"Kushina, someday, I'll plan an even grander wedding just for you!"
