"So?"
I tipped my head. "Show them strength?"
She nodded. "But that's the thing, Your Majesty, you already showed strength, you're goddess chosen, a half snowblood. They see and know you for what you are."
"That's true, then why is the Dowager so convinced I won't win if I already somehow have their favor?"
"I don't know much about politics, never liked it, and never will. But I can tell there's something shady here."
I thought so too. I got the feeling Dowager had the bet in mind before she proposed it. She knew me already and knew that I wouldn't easily agree to her, like Diana said, I fell into her trap.
