The battle of factions ended. Yun Jin smiled and said, "Hope you'll all come play again next time. Also, Zhu Zhu, start working on a game map for the Polar Night Demon World. I'll pass you everything I've explored there, so try to polish the map as much as you can. Anyone who gets a good score in the Polar Night Demon World map will get priority access to enter the real place later.
This won't only apply to the Wushuang Sect. The powerhouses from the four Holy Lands can join too."
She spoke calmly.
Ji Wusi and the others had been feeling a bit down, but after hearing this, their expressions turned serious.
This battle of factions had exposed a lot of problems for the four Holy Lands. Their disciples had gone through too little tempering. When they handled things, their methods were limited. Overall, they carried a bit of clear and innocent simplicity.
How were they supposed to fix that?
They had to grind through map after map.
Otherwise, if Cang Li and the others entered the Polar Night Demon World alone, it would be suicide.
"Yes." Zhu Zhu agreed at once, although she still couldn't help glaring angrily at Yue Zhao.
Next time, when the Polar Night Demon World map launched, she refused to believe Yue Zhao could still find bugs.
"Master, there's something else." Yuan Yuan rolled out while spinning on his little wheel. "The final grand prize you placed in the Celestial Divine Palace has already found its owner. One of the Wushuang Sect disciples has already entered the Primordial Yin Yang."
Yun Jin already knew this from the sect panel, but the disciple who got it had a special identity. She planned to handle it later.
Now that Yuan Yuan brought it up, she glanced at Wan Dao and the others.
Wan Dao and his companions looked confused.
What was this?
Did Yun Jin not want to give the prize?
Why look at them like that?
Yun Jin cleared her throat lightly. "Li Xiaoran, come out."
Li Xiaoran's eyes lit up and she walked out without hesitation.
Wan Dao's expression shifted slightly.
For some reason, he felt a painfully familiar aura from this young disciple.
Tian Po Sword also hesitated silently.
Li Xiaoran remembered nothing from her past life. She had some similarities in personality, but over time she'd been seen as a completely new person.
But for Wan Dao and the others who'd watched their companion fall with their own eyes, Li Xiaoran definitely had a different meaning.
"Since you've already entered the Primordial Yin Yang, I wonder if you're willing to become my personal disciple?" Yun Jin asked gently.
Li Xiaoran had already guessed this. Now that her guess was confirmed, joy spread across her face. She immediately knelt. "I'm willing."
Yun Jin let her finish the bow, then said, "From now on, you're my fifth personal disciple. Get up."
Li Xiaoran stood with bright excitement.
Wan Dao and the others kept staring at her.
Their gazes made her scalp tingle. She looked at them in confusion.
"This face… Brother, she's clearly…" Ling Yun couldn't help speaking.
Wan Dao shook his head. When he looked at Li Xiaoran, it felt like he was looking through her at someone else.
Then he spoke softly. "Your name is Li Xiaoran?"
Li Xiaoran instinctively glanced at Yun Jin.
Yun Jin nodded. "Go ahead. The Elder Tianshang wants to talk to you. We've almost finished touring the Celestial Divine Palace anyway, so we'll leave first."
She led everyone else out, leaving the area to Wan Dao's group and Li Xiaoran.
They returned soon after.
Li Xiaoran walked to Yun Jin looking dazed. She whispered, "Sect Master, the Elder Tianshang gave me some manuals and treasures. He told me to play with them. He didn't say anything else."
Yun Jin nodded. "Then play with them."
Li Xiaoran hesitated but didn't say more.
She had a feeling her past life probably wasn't simple.
Before this, Tian Po Sword and An Tong had always looked at her weirdly. Now even the Elder Tianshang and the others were reacting the same. She was almost sure she'd been some Senior of the Wushuang Sect in a previous lifetime.
But, she couldn't remember a thing. They cared about her because they'd shifted their longing for that Senior onto her. But she wasn't that Senior at all.
Yun Jin said softly, "Don't worry. Just be yourself."
That Senior from the past hadn't learned the Primordial Yin Yang.
Li Xiaoran had entered a brand new Primordial Yin Yang in this life.
Their souls might share some similar marks, but they were already two different people.
Yun Jin never mixed the two up.
Tian Po Sword and An Tong had already accepted this.
Wan Dao and the others surely understood too.
Sure enough.
Wan Dao didn't pay her special attention afterward. He smiled and said, "Let's go visit the mountaintop."
Yun Jin nodded.
There was a sword platform on this mountain, where Jian Ling practiced sword arts day and night.
Wan Dao stepped forward and tapped Jian Ling's forehead gently.
He infused all his latest realizations about sword arts into her.
"It's been a while since I saw this Jian Ling." Ji Wusi chuckled and walked forward to give her his own sword insights.
Yun Jin grinned and passed everything she'd gained from the Devouring Demon Clan to Jian Ling too.
With so many insights delivered one after another.
Jian Ling's movements slowed down instead. She seemed to be quietly processing something. It would take time for her to digest it.
Everyone stayed for a while, then headed down the mountain.
"Where next?" Wan Dao asked with a bit of excitement.
"Let's check out the Trial Tower." Yun Jin said.
The Trial Tower?
Wan Dao had heard Qin Ping talk about it. He nodded repeatedly.
On the Trial Mountain, in front of the Trial Tower.
Yun Jin grinned. "The Trial Tower's benefits are exclusive to Wushuang Sect disciples. Master, Martial Uncle, go enjoy yourselves. I'll take everyone else to the next place."
Wan Dao looked seriously at the Trial Tower, then stepped inside.
An Ying and Ling Yun followed.
The moment they entered, they found themselves facing the simple mode.
Wan Dao stared at the list of possible rewards, stunned.
Direct cultivation rewards, direct Law comprehension rewards, direct technique proficiency rewards?
As long as they cleared a stage, they'd get these?
This Trial Tower.
It was another thing completely beyond his understanding.
Right now.
Even the simple mode had only been cleared by Yun Jin.
Wan Dao felt a surge of competitiveness.
Yun Jin was his disciple after all. As her master, he couldn't be too far behind.
The three began their climb.
Yun Jin took the others to the Mission Hall.
Ji Wusi and the others stared at the densely packed mission board, falling silent.
Was the Wushuang Sect's training environment a little too good?
If burying themselves in cultivation harmed their mindset, there was the Mission Hall to help them temper themselves in the mundane world. If the Vast Azure World wasn't enough, they could go to other small worlds too.
This treatment.
Ji Wusi almost wanted to join on the spot.
Wan Dao and the others would need time to clear the tower. After finishing their tour of the Mission Hall, Yun Jin brought everyone to the Celestial Divine Palace to discuss important matters.
"The Polar Night Demon World entered a fast forward plan. A thousand years there is fifty years here in the Vast Azure World. In fifty years, the two small worlds will start merging. Fifty years is way too short, so we have to send elites into the Polar Night Demon World. They need to train and stir up trouble whenever possible, to weaken the Polar Night Demon World's power before the fusion."
Yun Jin explained patiently. "My thought is that the first batch should go to the middle and lower demon tribes in various demon territories, show potential, then ignite a bottom class revolution. Even if we can't shake the rule of the Demon Gods, we have to shave off some of their strength."
