Chapter 913 - How Did Yun Jin Do It?

On seeking cooperation, Yun Jin didn't hesitate to nod, "Before coming to the Void Mirage World, I already went to the Spirit Beast World. They've agreed to ally with the Vast Azure World, to support each other. If the Void Mirage World joins our alliance too, the three of us can develop together. Before the Polar Night Demon World fully makes its move, we can all make great progress."

Yun Jin didn't hide her intentions at all.

The Grand Elder was silent for a moment, a complicated look flashing in her eyes. "Come back with me to the Truth Tower and we'll discuss it in detail."

"Yes," Yun Jin quickly agreed.

The Grand Elder nodded, stepping first into the teleportation array. Yun Jin followed without hesitation, and the other elders trailed behind.

Back at the Truth Tower, the Grand Elder dismissed the other disciples, leaving only Yun Jin and the five elders in the room.

The Grand Elder spoke calmly, "Wan Dao Saint and I were friends. Given the situation in the Vast Azure World, I'm willing to join in my personal capacity. But whether the entire Space Society or the whole Void Mirage World joins, you'll need to convince us first."

Yun Jin opened her mouth to speak, but the Grand Elder continued, "It's not enough to just talk about mutual survival. You know our small world specializes in the Space Arts. Even if the Polar Night Demon World takes over the Vast Azure World, finding us wouldn't be easy. And you two are only level-three small worlds. Cooperation benefits your worlds the most. What does the Void Mirage World gain?"

The Grand Elder was frighteningly cold at that moment, as if her previous emotions had vanished.

Yun Jin nodded, "Before coming, I didn't know you and Master were friends. I never intended to use that connection to ask for help. I came here with sincerity."

The Grand Elder's gaze softened slightly. "Go ahead," she said.

She wanted Yun Jin to speak, so she could lead the others against the demons together. But if Yun Jin had nothing to offer, then as she said, she could only help personally. The Space Society and the entire Void Mirage World might not be able to participate.

"This tower is called the Truth Tower," Yun Jin said slowly. "In the Void Mirage World, space itself is treated as truth. Many cultivators here are obsessed with studying the Law of Space. Countless of them bury themselves in practice like you, Senior."

She paused briefly before looking at them, "But… after all these years, the Space Law here hasn't improved much, has it? Your research, or rather, the entire Void Mirage World's research, has hit a bottleneck, right?"

The Grand Elder narrowed her eyes, "That's true. Our research hasn't advanced for hundreds of years. But… that's not something you can solve. If I'm not mistaken, you're not a space-born body and you can't claim to be highly skilled in the Law of Space."

Yun Jin chuckled, "Exactly, I'm not a space-born body, and I'm not skilled in the Law of Space. So… how am I standing here then?"

The elders' expressions changed instantly.

Right. Only a space-born body could navigate spatial turbulence and travel between small worlds.

Then Yun Jin…

How did she do it?

The Grand Elder looked at Yun Jin, her suspicion rising.

And even a space-born body doesn't cross spatial turbulence easily. Every time Wan Dao Saint came through, he was badly injured.

But Yun Jin?

She was completely unharmed!

She even said she went to the Spirit Beast World! Crossing multiple small worlds without a scratch… how was this possible?

"May I examine your body?" the Grand Elder asked.

Yun Jin nodded, "Go ahead."

The Grand Elder quickly gathered spiritual energy and inspected her.

If Yun Jin was unharmed, it might be because she had healed beforehand. But anyone who's traveled through spatial turbulence would bear scars from the Space Law—scars that couldn't disappear in a short time.

She checked meticulously.

Nothing.

No scars at all. Not even any caused by the Law of Space.

But she had clearly crossed small worlds!

"How… how did you do it!" the Grand Elder couldn't help but ask.

Yun Jin grinned, "If you elders don't mind, shall we try a small experiment?"

"Go ahead," the Grand Elder said, watching her.

"Grand Elder, think strongly of an unfulfilled wish in your mind. Something achievable, like hoping your disciples can make a breakthrough," Yun Jin said.

Her words sounded strange and didn't seem like they'd solve anything. The Grand Elder hesitated.

"I insist you try first," Yun Jin said sincerely.

The Grand Elder thought for a moment. Yun Jin probably wasn't joking about this, so she agreed.

"To increase the success rate, the other elders should try too. Think of a wish you can achieve, big or small," Yun Jin instructed.

Though confused, the other elders followed suit.

Meanwhile, Yun Jin used the Sect Master token to notify the entire sect.

"Temporarily unlock the Void Mirage World map. Sect disciples, refresh your tasks. Anyone who gets the task from the five elders of the Space Society, accept it immediately and go to the Void Mirage World. All other tasks are temporarily blocked."

Oh?

Another small world opened?

Even if temporary, it's a new world.

Disciples at headquarters started refreshing like crazy. Strong cultivators' thoughts are easier to detect. Soon, a task linked to the five elders appeared on the Mission Hall screen.

Ji Heng's eyes and hands were fast, and he grabbed it.

He grinned, "I'll go see the Sect Master first. Bye, everyone."

Others watched with envy and jealousy.

Following Yun Jin's instructions, Ji Heng chose to materialize directly in the room. The moment he appeared, the five elders all widened their eyes.

They couldn't believe it! Someone had appeared out of thin air! What kind of technique was this?

After studying space for so many years, their faith crumbled instantly.

"Fourth Elder, did you issue this task?" Ji Heng asked. "In the past hundred years, you've suffered from hair loss. Even using spiritual energy, you can't regrow it, so you've had to wear a wig. Hoping to find a solution?"

Hair loss?

Everyone turned to the Fourth Elder, whose hair was perfectly thick.
