As Roland stepped out of the car, Karena immediately broke free from Yuki's embrace and threw herself into his arms.
Yuki sighed helplessly at the sight. It was clear that Karena no longer intended to hide her feelings for Roland, even in front of their classmates. She wanted everyone to know that he was taken and none should harbour any ideas about him.
Although Yuki had repeatedly said she was willing to share Roland on campus, today was supposed to be her own matchmaking event. How could she save face if Karena kept monopolizing him?
Driven by some unknown impulse, Yuki disregarded her usual aloof and cold appearances and followed closely behind, silently interlacing her fingers with Roland's.
It was as if she were reminding him: Don't forget who your leading lady is today.
