Chapter 1 - Fuji Kaze And God?

Rain fell gently on the city of Tokyo that afternoon, creating a soothing rhythm on the roof of the Kaze family home.

Fuji Kaze sat in his wheelchair near the window, gazing at a world that felt so close, yet so far away.

His face was striking. Fair, flawless skin, soft honey-brown eyes, and neatly styled jet-black hair. But since birth, his body had been completely paralyzed from the waist down. He had never once walked, not even wiggled a toe.

And yet… he never truly felt alone.

"Fuji-kun, want some warm green tea?" came the gentle voice of his sister, Ayame, from behind the door.

"Sure. But your tea's always too sweet," Fuji replied with a small smile.

"Heh, your taste buds are too Japanese," Ayame teased, laughing as she placed the cup on the small table beside his chair.

Fuji simply smiled warmly at his sister.

---

Fuji lived in physical silence, but his heart was noisy with love.

His parents were always understanding, and his siblings—Ayame and Shouta—never stopped showing their affection.

But school… the outside world… wasn't as warm as home.

And on one dark day, the world bared its fangs.

"Fuji! Come on, we're late!" Shouta yelled while pushing his wheelchair out the school gate.

"Don't rush, I'm not a sports car," Fuji joked.

But as they passed the sidewalk, a student—long known for his jealousy toward Fuji, for his looks, for the attention he received from girls despite his condition—walked quickly from the opposite direction.

In an instant…

A hard shove. Too fast to react.

Tires. A horn. Screams.

Darkness.

---

He opened his eyes. The world around him was white… calm… empty.

"Is this… hell? Or heaven?" he murmured.

"Neither," answered the voice of an old man from behind.

A man in white robes stood there, his face weary but kind.

"I… am God. And I want to apologize," said the old man, bowing like a samurai, his face full of genuine regret and pity.

"Apologize…?" Fuji asked, relaxing his body—unaware that his legs could now move.

"Your death… wasn't supposed to happen. There was a disruption in the flow of fate, and part of it was my fault. I can't return your life… but I can offer you a second chance. And… three wishes," said the god, his smile tired but sincere.

Fuji looked at him for a long moment.

"Then… I'll be reincarnated?" Fuji asked, thoughts drifting to his family and a beautiful girl from his class, his expression saddened.

"Yes. In a different world… a very different world," the god replied as golden light glowed from his hand.

Fuji fell silent. Memories of his family and Quinella—the beautiful girl who always sat far away but often stole glances at him—flashed in his mind. He never knew she had feelings for him… not until after his death.

"I want… a healthy and strong body," Fuji said, bracing himself.

"Granted," the god replied with a nod.

"I want… the power to create anything," said Fuji.

"That too shall be granted—but you'll need to learn, starting from creating small things," the god answered, and Fuji gave a small nod.

Fuji paused, then looked straight into the god's eyes.

"And lastly… please give a good life to my family, and that girl," Fuji said with a soft smile.

The god smiled gently in return.

"A beautiful wish. Farewell, Fuji Kaze. Your new world awaits," said the god, as he gave a final warning and some information about the new world Fuji would enter.

Then, the god gently touched Fuji's head, and Fuji lost consciousness.

And then...
