Hi everyone. I have begun a rewrite of this fanfiction named, DxD: The Last. It is a complete rehashing of this novel. Suffice to say, the only thing that remained the same is Igor's name.
Now, why a rewrite instead of a continuation? Simple. This fanfic is HORRIBLE. After chapter 3, it just falls apart. It becomes a harem and power fantasy. This rewrite is a new and completely unique take on the world of DxD.
1. Will there be a harem? I won't tell you the answer. And don't rely on the tags. I left "Harem" out on purpose. It attracts those who expect tits and panty flashes in the first three chapters.
2. Will the plot remain the same as this one? Chapter 1 of DxD: The Last should serve to wipe away that notion.
I won't tell you any spoilers. The new rewrite will be more about the reality of DxD, the real world the lightnovel and anime hides behind a pair of tits. It's not boardroom meetings. The supernatural world is far bloodier than believed, one where mercy becomes your last plea, or an action you regret.
On another note, I would love to sincerely thank all of you who stuck this long. From the bottom of my heart, I am both genuinely surprised and thankful. While this story may not see a continuation, I do promise the rewrite will have much more.
