After I came back to my room, I lay down on my bed to cook up some plans for the future. The main goal is to save Ryuu and her friends from the juggernaut; there are only a few ways I can think of to save them. The first one is that I find Jura before he is able to devise the plan of summoning the juggernaut. But I think that will be extremely difficult for me. Since I am not smart enough to pinpoint his location based on the fragmented knowledge I have. And if by some miracle I do find him and kill him, that alone won't solve the problem to truly solve it. I have to face the Rudra familia,
Yeah, as I am now, I stand no chance against their whole familia, even if I were strong, fighting alone is not a smart move.
Now, the second way I can think of is to start getting involved in the familia that are actively rooting out their members, which are of course the Asteria Familia, Ganesha Familia, Loki Familia, and the Freya Familia, and some others.
And since I belong to the Loki familia, it will be easier for me to contact Ryuu and others.
There are some other ways as well, but I would rather not use them if possible. As that might complicate things.
But no matter the path I choose, I have to get stronger. Otherwise, I won't be able to protect anything.
After brooding for a little while, I came to the conclusion that, for now, I will focus on getting stronger. There is still around a year remaining before the incident, and I want to be at least level 6 before the incident. I would have preferred to go for level 7. but that might not be feasible even with my growth rate.
Yeah, at level 6, I will be able to handle Juggernaut pretty easily.
I kept making plans until I fell asleep, and the last thought I had was *I really want to meet her soon.*

I woke up in a daze, which I usually am right after waking up.

Another knock on the door and the chirping of birds brought me out of it.
As I moved toward the door, I was feeling nostalgic. The last instance I remember waking up to birds chirping was when I was a child living in the countryside with my family.
When I opened the door, I came face-to-face with Raul.
"Good morning, Arin-san." He greeted me.
"Good morning, Raul, what's up?" I greeted back.
"Loki-sama wanted to meet you. I will guide you there."
"Sure. Give me a few minutes to freshen up. You can wait inside." I said and got to the washroom to get fresh.

Raul and I were walking towards Loki's office.
"Your fight yesterday was really good, especially when you fought with Ais-san. I never saw anyone fight her for that long among newbies or even with some experienced adventurers.
"Thank you, to be honest, I was only able to fight with her that long because of the experience I got from fighting with you and Anakitty,
"Really? I highly doubt that."
"Yes, it is the truth." "I see, then I guess I am glad to be of help."
Hm? I looked at him with a little surprise.
"Are you not frustrated or angry about that?" After all, I practically used them as dummies to further my strength in a way. Even if that was not my intention, it won't be strange if he thought that way.
"Eh, why would I be angry? You are a part of our Familia now. If I were able to help you grow stronger, I would be more than happy to help."

He gave a nod and went his way. And I entered the office. Inside, the people present were Loki herself, Rivera, Finn, and Gareth.
"Good morning Arin-kun. I hope you had a good rest." Loki said.
"Good morning, Loki, Riveria, and you two as well. it's nice to meet you.
They did not seem too surprised when I called Loki and Riveria so casually, maybe they were already made aware of that.
" It is a pleasure to meet you, too, Boy. My name is Gareth Landrock. I saw your fight yesterday. I must say you are one heck of a piece of work. To learn how your opponent fights, and adapt to it so easily.
"Thank you for the compliment, old man.
"Hahaha, Boy, you sure have some guts calling me old man the first time we met."
"Eh, I can stop if you want." That just comes out of my mouth because someone who doesn't know who he is meets him. They will definitely call him an Uncle as well.
But rather than appearing angry, he seems amused.
"Nah, Boy, it's fine."
"Okay."
"Are all High Humans like you?" Finn asked me.
"Before asking him questions like that, why don't you introduce yourself first, Finn?" Before I can respond. Riveria spoke up.
"Ah, you are right. My apology, Arin. my name is Finn Deimne, an executive as well as Captain of Loki familia, it's a pleasure to meet you..
" The pleasure is all mine, Finn. As for your question. I can't say much since I have not met any other High Human yet. But from what I know, yeah, pretty much all of them have this type of ability."
"I see, I understand, and sorry for asking you a question like that."

"Okay! Now that the introduction is out of the way. Arin-kun, I asked you to come here because today you are going to get registered in the guild. Raul and Anakitty will take you there, and after that, you will get your feet wet in the dungeon. Although I am confident that you can handle the first 10 floors easily, I would still like you to remain in the upper 7 or 8 floors. Since we can never guess what the dungeon might do. "There you have it, Arin-kun. That's all I wanted to talk about. Riveria will take you to the armory."

After we reached the armory, Riveria took out a key from her pocket and started opening the door. I can sense there is a type of magical residue around it. Maybe Riveria noticed that as she started explaining.
"This is the key to the armory; only the Executive and Loki have it. It is a magic item that's registered with our magical signature."
"I see, now that I think about it, maybe my adaptability skill is not only combat-related skills, but also capable of making me learn new things as well. Maybe I can learn to make magic items?"
"Yeah, I was thinking the same. we can test that out later. For now, let's choose a Good weapon for you." She said and opened the gates to the armory. It was filled with different kinds of weapons.
"Go ahead and choose whichever you want."
And I did just that. I started by finding an elven sword that caught my attention. It was shaped like a katana, but it was longer than that. With the Black color. And another thing was the cloak hanging on the hanger that Riveria recommended me to wear, saying it has some good durability and will make for a pretty good defense, since we were not able to find an Armour that fit me. I also took a pair of knives, which were decent-looking.
"Now you look like an actual adventurer." Reveria said in a complimentary tone.
As I was looking at myself in the large mirror that I didn't know what it was doing here, Riveria spoke from behind, looking at my reflection.
"Thanks, Riveria."
She merely nodded. "Before you go to the guild, make sure to eat something," she added.
"Sure. See you later, Riveria."
"Hm, see you soon, Arin and I wish you the best of luck on your first adventure.
I guess I can somewhat understand why the familia members might get the impression of a mother from her. But still, rather than a mother, all I get the impression is that she is someone who deeply cares for fellow members and wishes the best for her fellow comrades. Besides, she is too young to be called a mother after all, by elven standards, she is around 20 years old. Nowhere near close enough to the age of mothers normally are.

After I finished eating, Raul, who was accompanied by Anakitty, called out to me."Ready to get registered to the guild and begin your adventure, Arin?"
"Yeah, I am just about ready. also, good morning, Anakitty."
"Good morning, Arin. After your registration with the guild, we will go to the dungeon. Ais-san will join us there. Also looks like you found pretty useful things from the armoury." I guess Raul already filled her up about treating me casually.
"Yeah. Reveria guided me well in choosing them. So, should we go?"
