Chapter 55 - Traveling into the deeper parts of the Forest. (Final part.)

We blow through the outer area, pushing deeper into the heart, as the Undead rushed towards us from all around, but they couldn't stop the might of my dinosaurs as they stomped them below their feet and their elemental magic blasted them to pieces. As I noticed the Undead knight and another two Legendary Rank undead coming towards me, I smiled. "You take care of the other Undead; those three are mine!" I yelled at my dinosaurs as I jumped off the shadow Utahraptor and rushed on foot, closing the distance in a blink of an eye, shocking the Undead Knight. "IMPOSSIBLE!" He roared as I laughed out loud. "I TRAINED ALL DAY THE LAST TWO DAYS, HAVE AT THEE!" I roared out.

My spear slammed against his sword pushing him off the back of his horse as he slid on his back on the ground struggling to get me off of him as a fire blast came from behind me making me spin around with water elemental magic on the spear cutting the fireball in half as I blocked the rest of the fire with wind magic making the Undead Knight clear the distance. "Boy, how did you get so strong in so little time?" He asked in a cold voice, making me smile. "Push up, sit up, and a lot of juice," I said, making his glowing eyes squint as he readied his sword, as the magic caster readied himself and the other one with a glowing scythe was preparing to attack, when a female voice came out. "Wait, my followers." I looked towards the voice.

"Please, call off your beasts. I desire not to lose anymore of my people." She said with a hint of sadness as I whistled, making my dinosaurs stop attacking as she bowed. "How can I help you? I was told you wanted to know if I was the one who took your family's bodies. I can say I wasn't, as I haven't left my land in a long time." She said, making me smirk and think for a moment. "I would like you to fall under my command now, after laying my eyes on you. I want you by my side," I said, stunning her as she looked at me like I was crazy. "You know I am Undead, and humans will think you are evil having me by your side, along with I don't want to leave my people alone." She said, making me chuckle as I thought of the reward I would want from helping in the war. "I plan to make this forest my land, and with your help, I can make that happen. If you do this, I will make sure no one bothers you or your people as long as you are willing to bend your knee to me," I said. I'm making her fall into deep thought because I am stronger than her.

"Do you promise not to hurt my people if I submit to you?" She said, looking at me as I put the spear away and lifted the hood off my head, as I nodded, placing my hand over my heart. "I swear, to never attack your people again as long as you submit to me and follow me," I said, making her nod and let her dress fall, showing me a stab wound where her heart was. As I pulled a taming scroll out and placed it on her stomach, she let the scroll take effect before I removed it. "My name is Jacob, the leader of the Night Raptors, a mercenary guild," I said, shocking the Undead Knight. "I thought you would be of noble birth, given your skill." He said, making me chuckle. "I am, but you can think of me as a bastard child that the royal family doesn't know about," I said, making him nod.

"May I know your name?" I said, looking at the Undead Lady. "I am now called Ghastelle, the Empress of the fallen Empire." She said, bowing as I walked over to her, lifting her chin, and whispered. "You look beautiful. I don't know why you hide here, but I can see sadness in those eyes. I will make sure that you don't get anymore." I said kissing her, which shocked her more than me asking her to submit to her, as she tried to push me away, only to find out she felt warmth in this kiss, something she had long since lost. "We must head to the grave site, so I can see if the souls of your loved ones can show me." She said, whimpering softly as our mouths parted. "Sir Thornveil, please come with us. The two of you wait here and keep the Undead from doing anything stupid." She said to the Undead Knight and the others.

I called three Shadow Utahraptors over to help Ghastelle up as Sir Thornveil mounted the other one, and I unsummoned the others, making the Undead Knight speak. "Your abilities are odd. Are you reborn from another world?" He asked, and this shocked the Empress as she spoke. "You also have been reborn from a different life?" She asked, making me nod as she smiled. Someone like her was also here. Granted, she didn't think they were from the same world as the beast, with him, who wasn't from this world or her first world.

By the time we met up with the other women, the sun had already started to lift into the sky, as I had them mount up on my dinosaurs, and we didn't take our time getting back as we rushed through the woods, scaring all of the monsters. I wanted to take the female minotours, but that will have to wait as I need to find out what animal stole their bodies, which I feel is essential. We made it outside the woods by three pm and I said that Sir Thornveil should wait in the forest as I didn't tame him. It would be a problem if he came into the city. He nodded as he stayed with the shadow utahraptor. We made our way to the city, scaring the guards as my massive Dinosaurs walked towards the gate, shaking the ground.

As we got closer I helped the women down with the Empress last as I unsummond my dinosaurs and guided the women to my mansion wishpers of the Empress and hatefilled eyes casted at me didn't bother me as I had my needs for her and nothing they say would matter to me as I stopped in front of the mansion. Josephine walked out and I started to speak. "I saved these Elven women like I do you, please help them rest in the mansion and pass this letter to the count for me as I will be heading out for my village now," I said before kissing her and turning around, leaving as she got to work with helping the Elven women.

We walked only to be stopped by a group of knights with the symbol of the church, making me sigh as I stepped out in front of Ghastelle. "What does the Holy Templar want with me?" I said to make the captain step forward. "Great Hero, it isn't you we want, it is the Undead. Please step aside." He said as I turned to Ghastelle and smiled before speaking. "She is my tamed monster; it is not against the law to tame a monster. So what does the church want with my monster?" I said, making the knights look at me with a look of contempt. "So the hero fell to evil." Said the captain, making me burst out in laughter. "Evil? Just because she is undead doesn't make her evil, as the last time I checked, she never once attacked a human village or town. So how can she be evil? I mean, I as a human kill more people than she has." I said.

"How many humans have you killed, Captain?" I said, walking closer to him, letting wind elemental magic gush out of me, pushing them back until they were blasted off their feet, as I turned to Ghastelle and smiled as I spoke. "Shall we go, we have more important things to do than whatever this is," I said, taking her hand as she smiled slightly, as I pulled her along, and we left the city gate.

"Thank you, master." She said in a low voice as I chuckled. "No need to thank me, the moment you kneeled to me, it was my responsibility to take care of you," I said, smiling at her, making her chuckle. Jacob was an odd human. He doesn't fear her or her kind, even though the world tells them they are evil. But when she looks into his eyes, she doesn't see hatred, but acceptance that this is how the world is. Sir Thornveil met up with us as we rushed towards my village, as I wanted to end this not knowing.
