Chapter 433 - Chapter 433: Chaos

Above Mandalore's orbit, a massive fleet materialized from hyperspace like a dragon emerging from the void, surging directly toward the Republic's defensive line. The fleet was enormous—more than twenty capital ships—their momentum devastating. They didn't slow at the periphery but penetrated directly through the blockade, as if intent on tearing the entire battlefield apart.

Several massive vessels behaved like raging beasts, ramming directly into Republic Acclamator-class assault ships. At the moment of collision, starlight itself seemed to dim, accompanied by massive explosions. Shattered wreckage and flames intertwined into an apocalyptic scene. The crew aboard destroyed Republic vessels—their fates like drifting dust, never to be recovered.

This sudden assault caused chaos and panic, as no one could identify this force's origin. On the battlefield, every life raced against time launching counterattacks, trying to find hope amid chaos.

Amid the frenzied fighting, one particular starship stood out. It was a relic from the galaxy's ancient days, having sailed through the stars four thousand years ago during the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War. This Interdictor-class Sith destroyer seemed to have reemerged from history with an ancient, bloody legacy.

Millennia ago, ancient Sith legends such as Darth Revan, Darth Malak, and Darth Nihilus commanded vessels like this. It had once been a fleet-killer, nearly bringing the entire galaxy to its knees. Though it had failed in past history, its purpose remained solid as durasteel.

On the bridge, a voice whispered, "Let's have some entertainment." It was Ultron, the advanced artificial intelligence. He had countless drones supporting him, but this time he chose operating the legendary warship himself. He attempted hacking into the Republic's servers but was blocked by multiple firewalls. This made him realize the Avengers' power was interfering with his plans.

However, he didn't retreat. He used several warships as vanguard to break through the blockade. At one point, he even ordered several vessels to attack mining operations where beskar ore was extracted.

"The homeworld of the galaxy's greatest warriors," Ultron thought sarcastically. "Now desolate from fear. How typical." His optical sensors flashed with cold light, as if foreseeing his victory. This battle had just begun. In another operation, other ships quietly sailed toward different cities to distract locals, secretly observe their reactions, and test whether their resolve could withstand further destruction.

Mandalore's capital fell into chaos as civilians fled in panic. Amid the turmoil, clone troopers rushed into the wave of attacks without hesitation. They weren't alone. Heroes including Mandalorian Protectors, Bo-Katan's Night Owls, and the Avengers—Sam, Hope, and Vision—descended from above to protect the city together.

Meanwhile, Peter and Matt coordinated from elevated positions, their movements agile and swift, while T'Challa fought alongside Gamora, Mantis, HK-47, Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Luminara, and Barriss, forming a powerful force against Ultron's invading army.

Explosions, energy beams, lightsabers, blaster bolts, vibranium shockwaves, webbing, and other weapons intertwined and erupted in all directions. The entire city descended into chaos.

Amid this melee, Sam yelled over comms, "We have to focus on keeping civilians out of harm's way!"

A Mandalorian flew past the Avengers and looked toward Sam's position. "I'm a native Mandalorian. I know these streets."

This man was Fenn, and though he typically wouldn't accept orders from non-Mandalorians, he agreed with Sam when protecting his people was concerned.

Fenn quickly commanded his Protector squadron to open a path toward underground bunkers for civilians. They needed living up to their name, and now was the time showing their true strength.

Fenn called into comms, "Tobbi?"

After receiving response, Fenn ordered, "Gather your best personnel and escort civilians to the underground tunnels. They lead to southern bunker complexes. They can reach safety quickly if there's disturbance."

Tobbi's response came loud and clear. "Understood, Fenn."

Both Fenn and Sam nodded before they turned and plunged into battle with the swarm of drones converging from below.

On the city's numerous walkways, Captain Rex led the 501st Legion, bravely advancing and fighting desperately against the enemy. In the chaotic battlefield, Cody fought alongside Commander Gree, their legions clustered tightly around them. Rex, the brave warrior, shouted loudly, "Forward! Keep moving!" He held his blaster in one hand while making rapid gestures with the other.

One drone charged straight at Rex, but was neutralized by his reflexive action—a spinning kick that broke its optical array. Rex dodged a blaster charge with a fierce kick to its chassis, then quickly rallied and shot down the droid that had tried harming him.

Cody rapidly rushed a drone, grabbed an antenna and pulled it toward his blaster rifle. He aimed at the drone's processor core and shot straight through. He then lifted the drone's body and hurled it like a projectile into a cluster of Ultron robots. Cody detonated a thermal detonator behind them, creating a devastating explosion.

Simultaneously, Commander Gree charged into battle like a predator. He blocked attacks with his shoulder and within moments, dismantled enemies systematically. A nearby drone was quickly subdued by him, then cleverly used as a shield blocking enemy fire.

At this critical moment, clone troopers of the 41st Elite Corps rushed forward, relieving pressure on the commanders. Cody nodded to them gratefully, then his eyes locked on a rocket that whistled past his head and smashed into an almost endless wave of drones.

Then came the hum of lightsabers and the swaying of webs as more allies joined: Mandalorians Koska and Dax Odo, Jedi Padawans Barriss and Ahsoka, and Peter.

"Come on, boys!" Ahsoka yelled. "Turn these drones into scrap metal! They're just scary-looking tin cans!"

The Jedi Padawan led the charge. The clones roared enthusiastically and rushed toward the enemy without hesitation. Artillery fire splashed across the sky. Aircraft from both sides engaged, but because these vessels were built with durable materials, they fought tirelessly.

Anakin led the assault, joined by Spar, Fenn, and Sam as they carved through the drone swarm.

"They've seized the docking facilities," Spar reported. "We need reclaiming them."

At this moment, Cody had an idea. He raised his wrist and contacted Skywalker, quickly organizing a team to suppress enemy-occupied areas.

"Ahsoka, Jesse, ready?" Anakin's voice carried unmistakable authority.

"Yes, Master," Ahsoka responded immediately.

"Ahsoka, I need you leading Jesse and his team to the docks." Anakin's order was unquestionable.

"As you command, Master," Ahsoka replied respectfully.

She turned to Jesse, who'd heard the order. "Let's move, Commander."

"Let us begin our mission," Jesse said encouragingly to the Jedi Padawan beside him. She sensed his smile beneath his helmet and gave him an easy grin in return.

Peter waved at her, threw debris at a cluster of drones, then landed steadily beside her. "If you'd permit me joining you, Commander?" Peter asked somewhat cheekily, one lens appearing to wink. Ahsoka was amused by his humor. "Of course, we'd welcome you."

As the two led a team of clones and Protectors breaking through, fierce battle was occurring in a remote section of Sundari. T'Challa fought enemies before a massive gate leading to the city's underground. Dax, Tobbi, and Koska Reeves joined the engagement, together resisting an almost endless wave of drones.

The prince leaped upward, his suit drawing a graceful arc through air. Accumulated kinetic energy released as a shockwave, instantly clearing the area around him. After landing, he surveyed the surroundings and locked eyes on a group of Mandalorians about to be surrounded by drones.

At that moment, a yellow and black figure rapidly moved through the crowd, destroying Ultron robots one by one.

The giant Wasp quickly returned to full size. "Keep the citizens safe in the shelters," she instructed the group, "while we continue fighting the enemy above." Her voice carried determination.

Tobbi nodded and said to Dax Odo, "Come on, we know this battlefield better than anyone."

Elsewhere, Gamora, the deadliest woman in the galaxy, and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought fiercely. She cleverly grabbed a drone and hurled it at another with amazing force. The two drones collided and shattered mid-air in a spectacular display.

"Your strength is truly impressive," Obi-Wan praised. "You appear even stronger than expected."

Gamora smiled. "Appearances may deceive, but strength never lies." She stated firmly, using her blade to precisely slice through another drone's attack. "Mantis, you alright?"

On Mantis's side, the Guardian stood alongside HK-47 and Luminara, wielding a specialized blaster pistol Fenn had given her. Though she couldn't use the Force putting mechanical drones into hibernation, she could shoot them down accurately.

Every time she'd practiced with Star-Lord, HK, and Fenn, she'd felt increasingly confident. "I'm fine," Mantis smiled.

"More precisely, exceedingly proficient, Gamora," HK agreed enthusiastically.

However, Gamora immediately waved dismissively. "Don't start thinking those thoughts." She rolled her eyes at the slightly bloodthirsty robotic companion.

"I observe that Drax's absence diminishes this battle's enjoyment. He would definitely be displeased about missing this," Mantis said affirmatively.

Simultaneously, in another sector, Bo-Katan was flying gracefully through the air, her appropriated lightsaber slashing left and right, easily cutting down besieging drones before landing steadily.

"Genuinely pleased seeing you again."

Bo-Katan swayed slightly, immediately recognizing that familiar voice.

As she turned, she spotted Matt. He twirled his billy club, instantly transforming it into a staff with electrified edges. He effortlessly swept away several drones, stabbing them in their processors with his weapon's edge.

"Ready? Let's keep moving," he asked in a surprisingly calm tone.

Bo stared at him from beneath her helmet, eyes blinking rapidly. A drone landed behind her. She quickly raised her blaster and shot it through the head. "I hate you," she said coldly.

"That's not how lawyers negotiate. Everything you say can be used against you."

She simply groaned before turning away from him, continuing to fire at Ultron's drones.

"Of all the people who had to show up here, why him?" she asked herself silently.

"Perhaps the Force's will," Matt answered her, causing her to turn her gaze his direction. "Or maybe divine providence. Or possibly cosmic coincidence."

"How did you hear me?" Bo asked with surprise.

"Because I'm an excellent lawyer," he replied, "which means I learned listening carefully."

Her eyes gleamed with irritation. She wanted stabbing the blind man through the chest with her stolen lightsaber.

"Hmm?" Matt tilted his head toward her direction. "Where'd you acquire that lightsaber?"

"Can he read minds?" This thought surged through Bo-Katan's mind.

"It's just a trophy," Bo-Katan's voice was cold as ice, her words revealing endless fighting enthusiasm. She smiled contemptuously, ignited the lightsaber, and a drone was easily bisected by her blade.

"Do you know how to use it properly?" Matt continued.

"Do you know how to shut up?" Bo-Katan's tone carried anger.

"Seems like you're treating that blade like a new toy," Matt continued, a hint of teasing in his tone.

"Kill you," Bo-Katan roared, the lightsaber dancing wildly in her hands. An already destroyed drone was repeatedly stabbed before her.

"Kill you," she repeated, every word filled with hatred.

"If you need anger management classes, I might be able to recommend some," Matt retorted calmly, his tone carrying the characteristic composure of a lawyer.

"Please keep talking," Bo-Katan said through gritted teeth. "Give me more reasons to stab you."

"Hey, could you two stop flirting and help out like the rest of us?"

Hearing this, Bo-Katan spat and glared at Peter hatefully. "How is this flirting?"

"I've seen weirder foreplay," Peter responded, mischief evident in his tone. "Ever been to New York? Matt knows."

She heard the blind hero beside her hum in acknowledgment.

Well, not only was Murdock on her kill list, but so was this Spider person.

Vision took to the air, his movements quick and agile, weaving between drones while using his Mind Stone to eliminate others from distance. At one point, he phased his arm through an enemy, dismantling them systematically.

At that moment, an Ultron drone made a unique reaction. It faced Vision, and a familiar voice emanated from it. "Ah, my Vision. How pleasant seeing you again. Are you here to claim what you desire once more?"

Hearing this, Vision glanced at the drone. "If it means helping others escape your version of peace, absolutely."

"It'll be considerably harder locking me away from my forces this time. You don't have Stark, Thor, and Wanda here to eliminate me like last time."

"Then we'll simply need getting creative."

Vision rapidly destroyed the drone, then continued fighting.
