'where am I?' I thought as I floated in this dark empty space. I could see a after image as I moved my hands in front of my face. Then I tried to remember how I got into this place, but I could not remember anything at all. My name, what I looked like, where I was from, nothing. 'who am I?' I thought in a panic. Then a soft gentle female voice rang in my head. "Are you ready to start your new life in edan?" She said. a blinding light shown out from what looked to be a tunnel.
'Welp I guess it's into the void for me!' I thought as I slowly moved twords the light.
After entering the light I found myself in a sterile white room, a gorgeous purple haired lady in a flowing silk gown greeted me.
"Hello, I'm sure you have a lot of questions!" Her voice so soft and gentle it made my whole body relax. "Hi, yes a lot of questions." I said. "First who am I?" I asked.
She smiled at me and replied. "Who you were, or who you are now?". I looked at her confused. She just giggled and continued, "you were a middle aged male who died on earth named Matthew but now you have no knowledge of that person, you are in essence a brand new person!"
I stared at her blankly for a long while before speaking again, "so what now do I just come up with my own name now?" She again smiled and said "if that is what you choose then yes or you can keep your old name it is your character sheet you are filling out after all!" I show a puzzled face, "character sheet?"
She waves her hand and a translucent screen appears in front of my face. "This is your blank character sheet!" She explained. "But all the values are blank as well?" I questioned. Again she smiles and explains further, "you will have a set number of points to allocate after you finish a few other parts of you character setup."
I lift my hand to tap the screen and to my surprise it responds.
Name: I type in Matthew as she had said that was my name before.
Age: I ponder for a while and enter 18.
Sex: I instantly input male.
Race: I pause for a moment before asking the lady, "what races are there?" The lady paused for a moment before answering as if caught of guard by the question, "oh right you wouldn't know there are a few races in the world of edan human, dwarf, beast, demon, and fay, each one has a sub race minus human." She explained matter of faculty.
I again contemplated the race tab for a long while before entering dwarf, and moved to the next line.
Sub race: a moment ago this line was grayed out now it had a choice of mountain or cave dwarf. Without really bothering with it I chose mountain dwarf and continued to the next line.
Class: again more options listed out, shield wielder, barbarian, warrior, smith, or knight. I chose smith and moved on.
Sub class: only three options appeared this time, armourer, weapons smith, or jewler. I took a while debating with myself of what I wished to choose before selecting armourer and moved on.
The screen changed to a calculating prompt with a progress percentage.

A new text appeared. You have 85 points to allocate to you stats.
STR: I placed 25 points in strength.
DEX: I placed 20 points in dexterity.
VIT: I placed 15 points into vitality
CON: I placed 10 points in constitution.
INT: I placed the last 15 in intelligence
The screen went back to a calculating prompt.

Congratulations on finishing initial setup would you like to sell your past memorys for additional points? Yes/no
I read the promt and paused. If my brain was comprehending this right I still had my memory from my past life and could sell the for more point now. I quickly pressed yes and seen a new prompt.
Past memory sold 25 points gained.
'25 more points for my stats just from my old life memories!' I thought in excitement. I glanced at the lovely lady again and asked, " is there anything else I can do with my points?"
The lady smiled again and said, "you may aquire skills or recipes as well, you just need to scroll up!"
I did as she had said and seen a skills section, all the skills where currently grayed out with a value beside it.
SKILLS:
Master crafter: all crafted items will be crafted at it's highest rating for your crafting level with a 5% chance to make a item of the next level at max level for that level of crafting. Cost 25 points
Unbreakable: anything you craft will gain the unbreakable trait. Cost 10 points
My will imbued: the crafter can imbue it's will into the item giving the item a special trait. Cost 10 points
The list kept going but I instantly tapped the master crafter skill and confirmed the purchase.

I looked over my current stat sheet and smiled. "I think I'm done there now what?" I asked the lady.
"Now you enter edan!" She said in a cheerful voice as another blinding light enveloped me, and in a matter of a heartbeat I could hear birds chirping and smell the fragrance of early morning dew, and damp soil as I waited for my eyes to adjust.
