I lied to Issei a bit...

Issei just sighs...

I proudly make my proclamation, thinking how fucking lucky I am.

"No, I'm good. She is very happy, even though she has to wait a bit to see me again! Also Issei, I heard weird rumors of a serial killer breaking into homes and killing people, and blaming it on cultists or something! Be very careful the next couple of days till the police catch the killers, okay!"
I warned him, in case he bumps into psycho Freed Sellzen.

Issei just jumps behind Sona, like a good boy.
I then signaled Sona and Tsubaki to come to me, and lowered my voice...
"I'm not for sure, but Issei may have a 50% chance of being ambushed by a Stray Exorcist tonight or tomorrow, so keep an eye out, that's all I can tell you sorry. And Tsubaki, I love you and don't worry about me for the next few days, no matter what you hear... I will be very careful myself! And for all is right in the world, don't tell Rias I gave you a heads up. She will try to stop me if she knows... Promise!"
Sona says, while pushing up her glasses.
"Based on your words, you will have the other 50% chance, and if Rias knows, she won't send you correct? You seem to know who you will be fighting?"
I smile at the smart Devil, and tell her.
"Sona, that is why I like talking to you! I don't have to deal with irrational logic. Tsubaki, don't worry, safety first. I can't leave a sad girlfriend behind, so I will be fine just for you! Honestly if Issei wasn't in possible danger, I wouldn't even be worried. He is just not ready for that guy!"
"I will obediently wait for your good news then. You must be careful, and I-I love you too!"

Rias was going over contracts, and realized there was a double booking problem with Koneko, so she asked me to take it.
My heart skipped a beat thinking this might be it.
But I said nothing to Rias, and accepted the job.
Koneko hugged me and said her thanks.
I just patted her head, and told her to be careful on her run.
I then wore my battle gear, and prepared for the jump to the contractor.
Rias stopped me and asked...
"Why are you wearing that?"
I just remembered, I normally don't wear it on my jobs, so I white lie.
"I think it looks good, plus I don't know this client, so it doesn't hurt. What don't you like about me with this look?"
Rias said distractedly.
"No, I like it on you, it gives you the badass look... I just had a bad feeling is all."
I thought to myself seeing her look.
"Awe too cute!"
I placate her...
"When I get back tonight, I will treat you to a homemade late-night snack. Okay, just be a hot President and do paperwork, later!" I activate the circle

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in an entryway of a dark house.
No movement around me, and my Sacred Gear is rocking on full blast danger warnings!

As I stepped back out of the dead client's house, I removed the front-door joints with earth manipulation, and put it to the side.
I think Issei won't be here inside... hopefully!
Let us assume Asia Argento will enter from this front door, so I will set up my ambush point here.
Plus when Freed's reinforcements show, I can fight better outside here.
I did take my time showing up, because Issei would have had to come on his bike in the anime, and it's not far from the school.

I just realized and asked her...

I don't understand what is going on, but I don't have time to ponder, because the killer inside the house is coming...
I said seriously to her.
"Asia, listen to me. No matter what, stay inside this barrier until I come for you! Don't come out, even If I'm wounded. Do you understand?"
