Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transfer

JAY-JAY'S POV

Hahaha, amazing! Nervous, and at the same time, it feels like I'm having Diarrhea too, Hehehe.

It's the beginning of the day, and here I am, a student Higher Value International School.

What a name!

I'm almost to the room that the register's office showed me. According to my registration paper, it seems I'm in Section E of Fourth-Year High school. I came here because they said my records weren't that good.

I can't blame them; I was also rebellious at my old school. I continued walking towards the room. The school actually good, just wide. The school grounds are fresh, with many trees around. I think I'll be fit here, hope so.

When I arrived the classroom, I saw some boys hanging around opposite the door. There were five of them, and they were all poorly dressed in uniform. A little scary, but they say, "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover"

As I got closer, they stopped talking, and they all looked at me with disgust. Okay, this is a little scary!

"Uhm...M-mister, Is this the Section E?" I Shuttered, Why am I so embarrassed about this?

They looked at each other first, then returned their graze to me. They scanned me from head to toe. Is there something wrong with my appearance?

"No, This is the wrong building", answered a man with brown hair.

"Huh?!" I said. "The registrar told me this was it--"

"Move!" the man holding a lollipop shouted.

I was a little scared by their screams, so I ran quickly. It was terrible! Did they really want to shout? But I'm new here.. I wasn't ready for this.

The bell rang, signaling the start of class. While I was still walking for my classroom, I got more annoyed! I increased my steps, But the other building was still a bit far away.

The building I can from was just amazing- it's in the far part and doesn't seem to be frequented by students. It's still in the good condition , but the paint is faded, there's a lot of vandalism, and old things are scattered around. Chair and desks are broken. Two floors , with about four or six rooms in total. I'm sure if they're all used.

But the building I was heading now was new. The paint was beautiful, It had four floors, and many rooms. Some even have air conditioning.

Rich!

Immediately, I entered the building to find the room. How many minutes had I been walking? It felt like nothing. No, I'm not blind. I couldn't find the room in Section E.

Finally, I saw my classroom with the name on the door curtain. Only the Section was listed, but there was a mark left that obviously indicated it was Section E.

Maybe this is it!

I immediately entered. The students there stopped and looked at me. There were about 20+ Students.

I searched for the teacher but found nothing. So, I walked straight to an empty seat at the back.

More eyes turned toward me. "Is there a transferee?"

"Is there something new?" Whispers Followed.

Honestly, I felt shy, or more accurately, irritated. I didn't want to be the subject of discussion, but obviously, they were talking about me. I just bowed my head while hugging my bag.

"Hi!" Someone came up and greeted me.

I looked up and saw a women- what a beautiful creature! Are you an angel?

She was stunning, with long hair and fair skin. She was tall, looking even taller than me.

"H-hello..." I greeted, feeling shy.

"Don't worry! I'm probably the same age. Let's go." She said.

"Ah...S-sure" I replied.

She stretched then sat down across me.

"Oh, You're a transferee?" she asked.

"Yes, I'm here." I replied, still a little uncomfortable.

"My name is Rakki, the class president." She said, extending her hands and I shook it.

Her name sounded so cool! It suited her... Hehehe!

"Jay, are you sure you're in right Section?" Rakki suddenly asked, looking at me with concern.

I was surprised, but I just nodded.

"I know because there's a transferee in Section E. But not here." She said.

Not here?

I felt embarrassed. I had entered in wrong Section.

"What Section is this?" I whispered to Rakki

She looked around the class. It was so embarrassing when everyone heard what I said.

Rakki leaned toward me and whispered, "Section C"

Crap! I entered the wrong section!

I slowly stood up and walked toward the door, bowing my head as I went. Please don't let anyone look at me.

I was almost at the door when Rakki suddenly stopped me.

"Where are you going? Ma'am will be here soon."

My mood dropped even further. I took a deep breathe and looked Rakki in the eye.

"Rakki" I began "I-I was admitted to the wrong Section"

"Pfffttt.... Say that again!" Rakki laughed and soon , the whole class started laughing.

Just kill me now! I wish the earth would open up and swallow me whole.

I slowly walked out of the room, and I could still hear their laughter.

So shameful! So annoying!

I ran back to the building for Section E, the real Section E.

The guy I encountered earlier were probably waiting for me. If they had just pointed me to the right building, I wouldn't end up in the wrong Section.

It's frustrating! They'll remember this for the rest of the lives, the entire Section C!

I finally arrived in the correct room. The students raised their eyebrows as I entered. Oh no... I made another mistake!

The teacher stopped and looked at me. I was Furious.

"Yes?" He asked

I quickly composed myself and immediately pulled out my registration papers. Wait! I needed to be sure!

"Is this Section E?" I asked boldly.

The teacher nodded and looked at me. He took my registration papers.

"Ah.... You are the transfer student! I've been waiting for you." He said , pulling me aside in front. "I'm Mr. Alvin Siongco."

I smiled at him and and noticed the students who had laughed me earlier. These people are crazy!

I could feel the intensity in their grazes. So, I just bowed my head, trying to ignore them. Except of that guy who was holding the lollipop earlier.

"Class! silence, please!" Mr. Alvin called. "Okay, Let's introduce you"

I took a deep breathe. "My name is Jasper Jean Mariano, but you can call me Jay-Jay. I'm from Saint Holy High School."

The whole class stared to me. Most of them looked bored. The guy with the poker face didn't even blink.

"Class President... Anyone have any questions?" Mr. Alvin asked.

No one replied. Anyone looked uninterested.

"Class President," Mr. Alvin repeated, looking at the group of man I had talked to earlier.

"Shh..." the guy with the lollipop said. He stood up with a bored look and turned to me.

Wait, He's the class president? No way!

"Question..." Mr. Alvin's voice sounded commanding. The class president, Keifer, spoke up. "Are you still a virgin?"

My eyes widened as the whole class burst into laughter.

I rolled my eyes as I said to him while laughing again at the whole class. "Keifer!" Sir Alvin shouted angrily. Keifer just grinned. "You asked a question... and that is a question." he said. No respect! Even the teacher was answering him! How arrogant! I glared at him, but sir Alvin quickly corrected him. "Keifer, that is not a decent question" There you go! I finally got it right! I wished I could reach into my pocket and disappear. Immediately, the whole class went "Ohhhh" in unison.

Their class president, whom Sir Alvin called Keifer, raised an eyebrow. "You want a decent question? Okay... When are you leaving our section?" The whole class went "Ohhhh" again. Honestly, I was disgusted by what was happening and even more disgusted by Keifer. His arrogance was unbreedable! What did he think? Was he proud in his position?

I answered him sharply "You? When will you be lost in the worlds?" The "Ohhhh" from the class grew louder, even through Sir Alvin was reacting to it.

"Why don't you go first?" Keifer responded with grin.

"Because I'm the one who'll will make you disappear in the world." I said, in the matter of fact tone.

"Yes... I can." I added confidently.

"Okay, Okay both of you need to stop. Keifer sit down, Miss Mariano, you can choose any seat you want." Sir Alvin said, his voice is firm.

I was so done with Keifer. He gave me a bad look, but I turn my attention back to finding seat.

No problem. There were plenty of vacant seats. Most of them were in the middle.

The desks and chairs were like those in Japan- old, but functional. There were more than 20 pairs of desks and chairs in the room. The students mostly sat at the back and on the sides. It looked like a U-shaped. Only one row in the middle had no students, so I took a seat there.

The class setup was amazing. There were only about 15-16 students here, and others seemed to be scattered around.
