Chapter 529 - Chapter 526: Even Beating a Cat Requires Respect for Its Owner

Xianzhou Luofu, Seat of Divine Foresight

"Lady Lumina, are you here to enter the Seat of Divine Foresight?"

"Yes, I was invited by the three Generals."

"Very well, Lady Lumina. Please board this Starskiff to reach the Seat of Divine Foresight."

After completing her examination of Jiaoqiu and Moze at the Alchemy Commission, Lumina left with March 7th and the others, leaving the premises to the three members of the Yaoqing Xianzhou.

However, shortly after their departure, before Lumina could even escort the trio back to their quarters, she received a message from Feixiao on her phone.

The message roughly stated that the three Generals had urgent matters to discuss with her. If she had time, she was welcome to visit the Seat of Divine Foresight, but no pressure.

Though the invitation carried no pressure, Lumina couldn't possibly miss such an opportunity.

After taking some time to escort March 7th and the others back to their quarters, Lumina leisurely made her way to the Seat of Divine Foresight.

She boarded a Starskiff and arrived at the gate of the Seat of Divine Foresight.

Gazing at the imposing gates before her, Lumina's eyes darted briefly as she pondered for a moment. A faint smile curved her lips.

Without hesitation, she plucked the still-slumbering Phantylia Kitten from her pocket, cradled it in her arms, and began stroking it repeatedly.

"..."

Feeling the sensation on her body, Phantylia Kitten drowsily opened her eyes. After a moment, she closed them again, as if long accustomed to being abruptly yanked from her Sweet Dream by Lumina.

"Don't sleep, don't sleep! I'm taking you to see your enemy." Seeing her reluctance, Lumina smiled and gently patted the kitten's head, urging her to wake up.

Enemy? Isn't my enemy always right in front of me, the first thing I see when I open my eyes every day? Phantylia Kitten mentally snarked, but obediently roused herself from her slumber.

Hmm?

This is... the Seat of Divine Foresight?

The auras inside... three Xianzhou Generals?

Having recovered some of her strength, Phantylia Kitten could now perform simple sensing tasks. Since the three individuals inside made no attempt to conceal their auras, she naturally detected the presence of Huaiyan, Feixiao, and Jing Yuan within the Seat of Divine Foresight.

Despite discovering they were entering the enemy's lair, the Phantylia Kitten showed no sign of concern. She nestled lazily in Lumina's arms, seemingly dismissing the three Hunt Emanators entirely.

In the past, the Phantylia Kitten would have approached such a situation with extreme caution. After all, facing three Xianzhou Generals—even Phantylia wouldn't dare act recklessly.

But now, the Phantylia Kitten merely let out a soft "meow."

What a joke! You can't just kick a dog—no, a cat—without considering whose owner it belongs to.

Dare to attack me, dare to antagonize me, dare to lay a hand on me, and you'll face the wrath of my master!

The Phantylia Kitten thought to herself.

Just thinking about Lumina's power made the Phantylia Kitten involuntarily straighten her head—the very head that Lumina had patted countless times.

"Hehehe..." Lumina's eyes lit up as she heard the Phantylia Kitten's thoughts.

It seems the Phantylia Kitten's plan is progressing even more smoothly than I anticipated.

This was excellent. The smoother the progress, the happier Lumina became, and the deeper her sense of fulfillment grew.

"Heh heh heh, Miss Lumina, you've arrived."

As soon as Lumina entered the Seat of Divine Foresight, following the trail of clues to the main hall, she saw three figures waiting for her.

"This time I'm not the last one, like usual," Feixiao quipped with a smile, having grown familiar with Lumina's personality over their time together. "I'm only the second-to-last to arrive."

Her joke transformed the deliberately suppressed lighthearted atmosphere into a naturally relaxed one.

"Heh heh heh, General, as long as everyone's here, that's all that matters," Huaiyan chuckled, continuing Feixiao's line of thought. "Late or not, Jing Yuan and I are patient enough to wait."

"And now that both you and Miss Lumina are safe and sound, Jing Yuan and I can finally set our worries aside." Huaiyan laughed heartily, continuing Feixiao's line of banter.

With that, Huaiyan turned his gaze toward Jing Yuan, as if signaling something.

"Miss Lumina, thank you once again for saving the Luofu." Jing Yuan placed a hand over his chest, his expression sincere.

"If Miss Lumina hadn't intervened when General Feixiao was being manipulated by the Abomination, the Luofu would have faced another immense disaster."

As the host, Jing Yuan understood Huaiyan's implication perfectly. The incident had occurred on the Luofu, and as its General, it was only proper that he offer the gratitude.

"General, there's no need for thanks," Lumina replied, accepting Jing Yuan's gratitude with a smile. "General Feixiao and I struck up an immediate friendship. Even if this weren't the Luofu, I would never have stood idly by."

Hmm... half-truth, half-lie.

At least the phrase "immediate friendship" is half-true, half-false...
