Chapter 426 - Chapter 425: What an Abundance Emanator Should Do

Xianzhou Luofu, Starskiff Jetty, in the courtyard of a certain house:

"Meow meow meow, meow meow meow, meow meow meow."

"Meow meow meow."

"Where did this little cat come from? Scram! Get out of the way!"

"Meow meow meow, meow meow meow!"

"Scram! If you don't leave, I'll eat you!"

"Meow! Meow! Meow!"

In the courtyard, a Little Kitten incessantly leaped around a Xianzhou person, its eyes blazing with disdain and fury, as if it longed to reduce this insignificant, ant-like creature before it to dust.

But... the Little Kitten clearly lacked the power to do so.

Growing impatient, the Xianzhou person grabbed the Little Kitten roughly, holding it in their hand. Gazing coldly at the creature, they hissed, "You should be grateful I have no interest in cat meat. Otherwise, you'd already be digesting in my stomach."

"I'll say it one last time: scram." The Xianzhou person hurled the Little Kitten to the ground with a violent flick of their wrist.

Thud!

The force of the impact was loud and jarring, yet surprisingly, it caused minimal harm to the Little Kitten.

"Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow!"

"Meow!"

The Little Kitten scrambled to its feet, its fur bristling, and a crimson glint flashed in its eyes. Clearly, the Xianzhou people's actions had infuriated it.

"Poor Little Phantylia," a white-clad figure perched on the courtyard roof, chin resting in hand, watching the scene unfold below. Lumina sighed quietly.

Who could have imagined that the once-invincible Lord Ravager would now be so easily manipulated by a mere Borisin?

Oh, and those incessant cat-like utterances pouring from the mouth of a Lord Ravager—Lumina could barely suppress her laughter.

Earlier, Phantylia's meows had translated roughly to:

"Insects, summon your leader here immediately!"

And as for the rest of her cat-speak? Lumina thought it contained far too much family-related vulgarity to repeat.

Her gaze returned to the courtyard, where the Little Kitten had miraculously risen unscathed. The Borisin's eyes widened with surprise.

Then, a bloodthirsty expression replaced his surprise.

"So you're no ordinary cat, huh?"

"In that case, you must taste quite delicious, wouldn't you say?"

Borisin shed his disguise, revealing his fangs, as if he had spotted a delectable meal. Wiping the drool from his lips, he stalked toward the Phantylia Kitten, step by step.

"I was going to spare you to avoid exposing my identity."

"But then I thought, it's just a cat. Who would even notice if it disappeared?"

The Borisin stood before the Phantylia Kitten, his eyes glowing crimson as he loomed over it.

He seized the creature in a firm grip, opened his cavernous maw, and seemed poised to swallow it whole.

"Meow! (Hmph!)" The Phantylia Kitten offered token resistance, but when it realized its struggles were futile, it ceased resisting and passively allowed the Borisin to gape his bloodstained jaws.

It's just a body. If it's gone, it's gone.

Might as well use this fool to destroy this troublesome fleshly vessel.

Phantylia lacked a true physical form. If this body was destroyed, she could simply find another.

But could this creature truly destroy this body?

The Phantylia Kitten gazed at the filthy, foul-smelling maw before her, her eyes brimming with disgust.

If the Xianzhou people didn't abhor eating cat meat, I'd never have bothered with these Borisin.

Disgusting!

The Phantylia Kitten silently vowed that once her sealed power was unleashed, she would utterly annihilate these Borisin.

For now, she would simply close her eyes and hope this insect could "devour" the body.

As the gaping maw loomed ever larger, the Phantylia Kitten held her breath, shut her eyes, and quietly awaited the outcome.

Thud!

A resounding thud echoed through the air. The Phantylia Kitten remained unharmed, while every tooth in the Borisin's mouth shattered.

?!

Ugh? What exactly are you?

The Borisin felt a sharp pain in his mouth. The red glow in his eyes vanished, replaced by fear of the unknown.

A soft, cuddly-looking kitten... impervious to his bite?

Not only impervious, but capable of retaliating with enough force to shatter all his teeth.

"Meow~"

Slipping free from the Borisin's grasp, the Phantylia Kitten's eyes filled with disappointment, and a new measure of contempt and disdain colored its gaze toward the Borisin.

As expected, ants will always be ants...

But... what should I do next?

Given that woman's power, only another Emanator might stand a chance against her...

"Found you." Just as the Phantylia Kitten was pondering this, a scent so familiar it was almost instinctive flooded its senses.

The kitten's haughty gaze instantly shifted, replaced by a deathly stillness, a sense of resigned surrender.

In the next moment, the Phantylia Kitten was lifted into the air and cradled in soft arms.

"Naughty, Little Kitten," Lumina cooed, cradling the creature in her arms and gently stroking its head. "If you run off like that again, I might just find you a little wildcat to play with."

Lumina's gentle tone left Phantylia Kitten unable to discern whether she was telling the truth or not.

"Still... I suppose I should help you find one after all."

"Look at the mess you've made trying to find one yourself."

Lumina lifted her head, her gaze settling on the Borisin before her, as if she suspected Phantylia Kitten had intended to toy with him.

"Meow~ (Mere vermin)," Phantylia Kitten purred lazily in Lumina's arms, refusing even to glance at the Borisin.

"Lady Emanator!" The Borisin before them, sensing Lumina's presence and the divine aura radiating from her, watched as his fear-stricken face was instantly replaced by waves of fervent devotion and worship.

Thud!

In the next moment, the Borisin dropped to both knees and cried out in a booming voice:

"I beg you, Lady Emanator, lead my people back to our former glory!"

Lumina: ...

Crazy! Why are you shouting so loudly? Are you afraid someone won't hear you?

Phantylia Kitten:?

"Meow? (Where did this lunatic come from?)" Phantylia Kitten, nestled in Lumina's arms, cast a disdainful glance at the Borisin kneeling on the ground, utterly devoid of dignity.

Why beg Lumina of all people?

Just wait and see if she stabs you in the back later.

Phantylia Kitten licked its paw, recalling Lumina's betrayal. Its fur bristled with indignation.

An Abundance Emanator?

Lumina is a complete disgrace to the Abundance Emanators!

Phantylia had met other Abundance Emanators and knew what kind of scum they were. But Lumina was nothing like them. She completely neglected her duties—what else could she be but a disgrace?

"Lead? Lead what?"

"What's your plan?"

"Tell me all about it."

At these words, Lumina's eyes flickered, then lit up with a sudden gleam. It seemed she was finally preparing to act in a manner befitting an Abundance Emanator.
