Dorm Room
Time: 7:22 PM
It was a hectic day. Mishti was tired from all the classes she had today. Then she went to the library to find a good book. It was a vacation to her. When other kids were out of the dorm room, going to mall, parties, or restaurants, or simply hanging out under the full moon in the campus, she was busy exploring the creative world of Atticus Finch.
While her two other roommates, Trisha and Anamika, out for a facial, she was diving deep into the poetry book written by E. E. Cummings. Also, the room setup was quite helping her to get into the dream world, with her bed beside the open window, with the moon gliding through the clouds, and the curtains draped at a certain point where breeze were gently rocking them to a perfect degree. Turning the lights off, she had kept a tiny mushroom light in front of her head where she was lying on a swimmer's position on the bed, enjoying her book, with a sip of hot cocoa from her panda cup.

As she was about to turn the next page, suddenly her phone dinged. A message from an unknown number. But she was so into the book, she didn't feel like checking.
Time passed by. The moon glided from her window to another side of the sky. And Anamika and Trisha came back.
"You should've gone with us." Anamika said.
"Nah, you know her by now right? She likes her books more than her face." Trisha replied chuckling.
Mishti didn't reply, as she occasionally enjoyed her leg being pulled by these two. By her heart, she knew they were different but nice people. They helped her a lot, and without them, it wouldn't be impossible to survive in this new city.
As the night was growing more, they decided to have their dinner in the canteen because it would be closed past 9PM.
The canteen was within 500 meter of their dorm. There were multiple canteens in the campus and each were assigned 4 dorms. Both boys and girls.
Mishti went into the line to get some food, and when she turned back, she was shocked!! That boy from the morning class was just behind her!! She didn't even notice when he had come behind her!! And he was staring at her!! His stare!! That went straight past her eyes, through her body, and stirred up her soul!! A chilled stream ran through her spine!! She didn't fully understand why!! But it felt good.
Mishti lowered her eyes and almost ran from there ASAP. She could still feel he was still staring at her.
She came to her seat and even before sitting down, her phone pinged. This time, she immediately checked it. It was from an unknown number. The message went like this, "Your eyes are so damn pretty!!" She didn't know who it was from. But she somehow guessed it and looked at the boy still standing in the line. Surprisingly, he was also looking at her, and smiling from the corner of his lip. She understood, it was him!! It was Abhinav!! She then noticed his previous message that he sent when she was reading the book in the dorm. The same number!!
"Hey, can we talk? I just wanted to tell you something!! That's all!!"
