In a distant star system...
A massive spaceship hovered silently in the starry sky.
Surrounding it were thousands of smaller vessels forming an intimidating fleet.
Inside the mothership's control chamber—
A small, large-headed figure with an awkwardly proportioned body knelt on one knee and lowered his head.
"Lord Frieza, during your absence… a tremendously powerful presence has appeared on Earth. Aside from Son Gokū and the other Saiyans, a terrifyingly strong Saiyan has shown up, and until recently, we had no idea he even existed!"
"Just recently, we've learned that Son Gokū and the others have grasped some form of Super Saiyan 4… an incredibly fearsome transformation! And they're still evolving further. I suspect it all has something to do with that new Saiyan!"
"Their reputation… has already spread throughout the entire North Galaxy!"
"No one dares approach Earth anymore!"
"As for the rest of the intel…"
Sorbet slowly continued.
Only after finishing in one breath did he pause and take a deep breath.
"That's all the intel we've gathered so far, my lord."
Above him, seated on a luxurious throne, Frieza remained silent.
Sorbet lifted his gaze ever so slightly—
But with his knowledge of Lord Frieza's temper, now was absolutely not the time to speak out of turn.
Otherwise… the consequences could be very severe.
Sorbet immediately lowered his head again, not daring to say another word.
A long silence followed—
Then Frieza's cold voice rang out:
"Sorbet, Chief of Staff… I want to ask you something."
"!"
Sorbet jolted, his entire body tensed. The short alien trembled as he spoke hastily:
"Lord Frieza! Ask anything you wish! I swear I'll answer fully, nothing concealed!"
Frieza rested his arm gently on the metal-framed throne and smiled faintly.
"Heh… No need to be so nervous. It's a very simple question."
Just as Sorbet let out a sigh of relief—
The next second, his body tensed again like lightning.
"I want to know—why did it take you all this long to bring me back after so much has happened?"
Sorbet's face went pale. He rushed to explain:
"Lord Frieza, it's because we struggled to gather the Dragon Balls, and—"
"No need to say more. I understand."
Frieza waved his hand to silence him.
"Whether you feared losing your position, or simply wanted me to return and lead the Frieza Force again… it's all irrelevant now."
"The important thing is… I'm back."
"But I'll say this—don't let it happen a second time."
Sorbet finally exhaled and quickly bowed, "Understood!"
Truthfully, they had indeed grown complacent—
But now the universe was in total chaos. So many powerful forces had emerged that they couldn't even operate safely in the North Galaxy anymore!
If they hadn't revived Frieza now, they'd be doomed.
Frieza frowned slightly. "Tell me more about that Saiyan on Earth."
Sorbet quickly nodded and elaborated.
After listening, Frieza narrowed his eyes, his expression darkening.
"Every opponent is defeated in an instant...?"
Frieza turned toward Sorbet and said in a low voice,
"You're certain you're not exaggerating?"
"You know what happens if you are."
Sorbet dropped to both knees. "I swear it's all true!!"
Frieza chuckled darkly, eyes fixed on the starry sky outside the ship.
His gaze was deep, unreadable.
Three powerful Saiyans had emerged—Aishi, Broly, and an unknown one with terrifying power that resonated across the universe.
Sorbet had provided that information.
Frieza didn't doubt him. Sorbet had always been loyal.
And yet… so much had happened while he was dead.
Frieza's expression slowly twisted with fury.
"All of it… it's all that wild monkey's fault!!"
Son Gokū!!
If not for him… how could Frieza have fallen so far behind?
"The world's balance… is shifting."
"If I, Frieza, remain stagnant… I'll be left behind by history."
Frieza said coldly.
Sorbet lowered his head again.
Frieza turned to him and said:
"We don't have much time. Notify everyone. Spare no expense—search the universe thoroughly."
"Find me a training ground where time flows differently on the inside than the outside. I know such a place must exist."
Sorbet blinked. "A place where time flows… differently?"
"Yes. A world where time passes at a vastly different rate than the outside."
"I once heard an elder of the Frost Demon Race speak of such a realm."
Frieza's tone grew calm again.
With so many terrifying powers rising across the universe, he could no longer afford to be careless.
Sorbet looked distressed. Did such a place really exist?
Was Frieza asking the impossible?
"Can't do it?"
Frieza's tone turned cold.
"N-No, I'll make it happen!!" Sorbet quickly replied.
Frieza said nothing more. He slowly closed his eyes.
Just as Sorbet was about to step out the door—
Frieza's voice rang out again.
"Wait."
Sorbet immediately halted and turned back.
Frieza spoke nonchalantly:
"While you're at it—revive all the elites from our clan."
"If the Saiyans can have so many strong warriors… how can my Frost Demon Clan have none?"
Sorbet didn't dare question it. He nodded swiftly.
After Sorbet departed—
Frieza's mind churned with conflicting thoughts. A hint of struggle flickered on his face.
He actually had a son.
From birth, the boy had been frozen in stasis.
By now it had been almost 30, 40 years—still hadn't hatched.
Even Frieza himself had only been frozen for a dozen years.
In the Frost Demon Race, the longer the freezing period at birth, the greater the latent talent.
But Frieza had already died multiple times…
And his son still hadn't awakened.
The potential of that child… even Frieza didn't dare imagine.
After a long silence, Frieza murmured:
"Perhaps… I should place him in that alternate-time realm."
With the Saiyan forces growing ever stronger—
If he wanted to rise again, Frieza would need allies.
Though he remained confident in his strength, he had not yet reached a level where he could ignore all threats.
...
Universe 6
Aishi bid farewell to Vados and Champa, telling them he was heading home for a bit.
They didn't stop him—only reminded him to bring back more good food.
Aishi agreed with a grin and used Instant Transmission to head for Universe 7.
Meanwhile—
...
Universe 7 – Half an Hour Earlier
While Whis was training Son Gokū, Vegeta, and Broly, an uninvited guest appeared.
Rigor.
During a conquest, Rigor had landed on Planet Yardrat—where he learned Instant Transmission from the Yardrats.
That's why he hadn't been surprised when he saw Aishi using it last time.
And now, his arrival on the God of Destruction Planet—instantly caught Beerus' attention.
Beerus rather liked him.
If taking Gokū, Vegeta, and Broly under his wing was giving Aishi face...
Then Rigor—was someone Beerus personally approved of.
That Super Saiyan 5—even Beerus thought it was formidable.
But before Beerus could say anything—
Vegeta and Rigor locked eyes.
Son Gokū and Broly turned curiously to this sudden new arrival.
Vegeta's brow furrowed.
The man had a tail… and looked very much like him.
There was only one explanation—
A Saiyan!!
Rigor, just about to greet Beerus, suddenly turned and locked eyes with Vegeta.
In that moment, something deep inside him erupted.
An instinctive fury surged through his entire body, overwhelming all reason.
Without warning, Rigor snapped.
It wasn't his fault.
Just seeing Vegeta made him relive those dark memories from long ago.
A violent aura exploded from within him.
The ground trembled beneath a monstrous storm of power.
Everyone's expressions changed.
Beerus' face darkened—What the hell?
They just arrived and already started fighting?!
Then it hit him—Beerus turned sharply to Vegeta.
Wait a minute!
Could they be… brothers?!
Beerus suddenly understood.
His expression turned ugly. No one had told him about this!
Vegeta and Rigor had bad blood?!
This was serious.
Before Beerus could step forward to intervene—
Whis gently stopped him.
Beerus turned back and growled, "Whis! What are you doing?!"
Whis smiled calmly. "Beerus-sama, don't you want to see how this turns out?"
Beerus scowled. "Are you crazy?! This is the God of Destruction Realm, not a fight club!"
Whis: "..."
Whis' expression twitched.
He had assumed Beerus was trying to stop the fight out of kindness…
Turns out, he was just worried about damage to his own turf.
Whis chuckled lightly. "Don't worry, Beerus-sama. I'll restore it later."
Beerus' face turned grim. "It's not about restoring it! It's about my pride!"
If a fight breaks out on his turf, where does that leave his image?!
But with Whis stepping in, he couldn't argue more.
So he muttered—
"You'd better give me a damn good fight!"
"Otherwise, I'll beat all of you into flowers afterward!!"
Son Gokū, bracing against the pressure, looked at Vegeta and said calmly:
"Vegeta… this should be the Rigor Aishi told us about."
Vegeta nodded grimly. "I know."
That energy… it's overwhelming!
This guy may have been lying about his past.
But not about his power!
Broly narrowed his gaze at Rigor, a flicker of fighting spirit igniting within him.
Born with a power level of 50,000?
He was curious to see what this guy was really made of.
Rigor, his face dark, examined the trio before him—
Then slowly spoke.
He knew he was on someone else's turf, so best to show some basic courtesy.
When he politely asked for a spar—
Beerus' tightly knotted brow finally relaxed a little.
His pride was saved.
Beerus nodded. "Very well."
He too wanted to see what these four could pull off.
With Beerus' approval, Rigor turned to the trio.
Rigor smirked coldly.
"Come at me—
All of you at once!!"
