Lincoln, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach, and their Digimon partners faced Blastmon as they prepared to battle. They push the buttons on their glowing artifacts; beams come out of them and they hit the partner Digimon.
"Agumon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Agumon before he turns into a glowing orange GeoGreymon, then a glowing orange RizeGreymon, and finally, VictoryGreymon.
"...VICTORYGREYMON!" shouts VictoryGreymon.
"Gaomon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Gaomon before he turns into a glowing blue Gaogamon, a glowing blue MachGaogamon, and then MirageGaogamon.
"...MIRAGEGAOGAMON!" shouts MirageGaogamon.
"Elecmon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Elecmon before he turns into a glowing yellow Leomon, then a glowing yellow GrapLeomon, and finally, HeavyLeomon.
"...HEAVYLEOMON!" shouts HeavyLeomon.
"Kudamon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Kudamon before he turns into a glowing white Reppamon, then a glowing white Chirinmon, and finally, Kentaurosmon.
"...KENTAUROSMON!" shouts Kentaurosmon.
"Gotsumon, Warp Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he turns into a glowing gray Golemon, then a glowing grey Meteormon, and finally, EBEmon.
"...EBEMON!" shouts EBEmon.
The five Mega Level partner Digimon faced Blastmon; as Lincoln, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, and Zach watched, Rusty turned towards the captive Angewomon.
'Don't worry, Angewomon; your dear brave Rusty will save you.' Rusty thinks to himself.
"You Digimon will never destroy this pillar!" shouts Blastmon.
"Wanna bet?" asked VictoryGreymon. He charges at Blastmon while raising his sword. "Dramon Breaker!" VictoryGreymon swings his sword down at Blastmon, hitting him, and knocking him back.
"Diamond Hedgehog!" shouts Blastmon as he curls into a ball and rolls towards VictoryGreymon and rams into him, knocking him to the ground; Blastmon uncurls.
"Gale Claw!" shouts MirageGaogamon as he dashes at Blastmon and slashes him with the blades on his gauntlets, making Blastmon stumble back. Blastmon jumps up and punches the ceiling of the cathedral; sunlight pours into the room.
"Crystal Breath!" shouts Blastmon as he absorbs sunlight into his body; he fires a laser out of his mouth and it hits MirageGaogamon, knocking him to the ground.
"Sonic Excavator!" shouts HeavyLeomon as he charges at Blastmon and drives the pile bunker on his right arm into Blastmon, knocking him back.
"Diamond Hedgehog!" shouts Blastmon as he curls into a ball and rolls towards VictoryGreymon and rams into him, knocking him back.
"Tactical Stomp!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he jumps up; he comes down towards Blastmon and kicks him, knocking Blastmon down; he gets back up.
"Junjou Emerald Chop!" shouts Blastmon as he runs to the side of Kentaurosmon and karate chops his back, making him drop to his knees.
"Planet Destroyer!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a powerful beam of energy from the blaster on his right arm at Blastmon; he crosses his arms and blocks the beam, but it still forces him back.
"He blocked it!" said Zach.
"Crystal Machine Gun!" shouts Blastmon as he fires the crystals on his body at EBEmon, hitting him, then he punches him, knocking him to the ground.
"You guys doing okay?" Lincoln asked the partner Digimon.
"We're fine." replied VictoryGreymon.
"Yeah; we have a lot of fight left in us." said MirageGaogamon.
"Not for long!" shouts Blastmon. "Prism Fire Flash!" Blastmon slams his tail into the ground, releasing a shockwave, followed by a barrage of crystal bullets at the partner Digimon, hitting them.
"Dramon Breaker!" shouts VictoryGreymon as he charges at Blastmon and he swings his sword down at Blastmon, hitting him, and knocking him back.
"Full Moon Blaster!" shouts MirageGaogamon as he fires a powerful beam of energy from the mouth of his chest armor at Blastmon.
"Resting Burner!" shouts HeavyLeomon as he fires flames from the lion mouth on his chest; both attacks hits Blastmon, knocking him back.
"Muspelheimr!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he fires an arrow of light from his crossbow; Blastmon jumps to the side to dodge it, but it grazes his side.
"Planet Destroyer!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a powerful beam of energy from the blaster on his right arm at Blastmon, hitting him, and knocking him back.
"How does he keep surviving that?" asked Zach.
"How is it possible for you to give me so much trouble?!" shouts Blastmon.
"Duh; there's five of us and only one of you." replied Zach.
"And our Digimon have been getting stronger from all the battles against your minions." said Clyde.
"Yeah; while you've been sitting around in your little hidey hole, watching them do all the battling." said Liam.
"It doesn't matter how many of you fools there are, you're still no match for me!" shouts Blastmon. "Dazzling Crystal Volcano!" An explosion of crystals erupt from below Blastmon as he's launched forward and rams VictoryGreymon, knocking him to the ground, but he gets back up.
"Gale Claw!" shouts MirageGaogamon as he dashes at Blastmon and swings his arm blades at him, but he blocks them.
"Junjou Emerald Chop!" shouts Blastmon before he karate chops MirageGaogamon, knocking him to the ground; he gets back up.
"Sonic Excavator!" shouts HeavyLeomon as he charges at Blastmon and tries to drive his pile bunker into him, but Blastmon dodges the attack.
"Crystal Breath!" shouts Blastmon as he absorbs sunlight into his body; he fires a laser out of his mouth at HeavyLeomon, hitting him, and knocking him back.
"Inferno Frost!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he fires multiple arrows from his crossbow at Blastmon; he shields himself with his arms, blocking the arrows, but forcing him back.
"Diamond Hedgehog!" shouts Blastmon as he curls into a ball and rolls towards Kentaurosmon and rams him, knocking him back.
"Brain Rupture!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a purple beam from the gun in his left hand at Blastmon; he jumps aside, dodging it.
"Dazzling Crystal Volcano!" shouts Blastmon before an explosion of crystals erupt from below him and he's launched towards EBEmon and rams him, knocking him to the ground.
"Trident Gaia!" shouts VictoryGreymon. His sword splits apart and attach themselves to VictoryGreymon; he holds the pieces towards Blastmon and energy begins being absorbed into the tips of them. VictoryGreymon fires energy blasts out of them and they hit Blastmon, knocking him to the ground.
"Give up yet, Blastmon?" asked Clyde.
"Never!" shouts Blastmon.
"So, you want to do things the hard way, huh?" asked Zach.
"Better than surrendering to you human filth!" replied Blastmon.
"Fine; if that's how you want it." said Lincoln.
"Atomic Super-Sized Punch!" shouts Blastmon as he slams his fists into the ground; the entire area around Frost Cathedral begins to split; the partner Digimon fall through the massive cracks, but they hold on to the edges to keep themselves from falling.
"Be careful, fellers!" shouts Liam.
"Don't worry, Liam; it will take a lot more than that to defeat us." said Kentaurosmon. Blastmon jumps to Kentaurosmon.
"We'll see about that!" shouts Blastmon. "Junjou Emerald Chop!" Blastmon karate chops Kentaurosmon, but he hangs onto the edge. HeavyLeomon struggles to climb out of the chasm.
"Man; I wish I was LightLeomon instead of heavy." said HeavyLeomon as he tries to climb out the chasm. MirageGaogamon climbs out of the chasm and jumps up into the air.
"Double Crescent Mirage!" shouts MirageGaogamon as he releases cresent-shaped shockwaves from his hands at Blastmon, hitting him.
"Crystal Breath!" shouts Blastmon as he absorbs sunlight into his body; he fires a laser out of his mouth at MirageGaogamon, hitting him, and knocking him close to the edge of the chasm.
"Tactical Stomp!" shouts Kentaurosmon as he jumps up from the chasm and down towards Blastmon; he kicks Blastmon, knocking him down; he gets back up.
"Dazzling Crystal Volcano!" shouts Blastmon before an explosion of crystals erupt from below him which causes more of the ground to break and rams Kentaurosmon, knocking him back, and almost making him fall into the chasm. HeavyLeomon was finally able to climb out of the chasm.
"Resting Burner!" shouts HeavyLeomon as he fires flames from the lion mouth on his chest and it hits Blastmon.
"Diamond Hedgehog!" shouts Blastmon as he curls into a ball and rolls towards HeavyLeomon and rams him, but barely budging him.
"Planet Destroyer!" shouts EBEmon as he fires a powerful beam of energy from the blaster on his right arm at Blastmon, hitting him; he drops to his knees.
"This guy's made of really strong stuff." said Zach.
"He's still going down." said Lincoln.
"You got that right, Lincoln." said VictoryGreymon.
"Crystal Breath!" shouts Blastmon as he absorbs sunlight into his body; he fires a laser out of his mouth at VictoryGreymon.
"Victory Charge!" shouts VictoryGreymon as he reflects Blastmon's attack with his sword, causing Blastmon's beam to hit him instead. "Victory Slash!" VictoryGreymon slashes Blastmon with his sword, knocking him into the chasm.
"That takes care of him." said Zach.
"Now let's take care of that pillar." said Lincoln. They suddenly hear a loud yell from the chasm; Blastmon jumps up from the chasm and lands in front of the partner Digimon. Blastmon had cracks all over his body and his cape was tattered; he was breathing heavily.
"I...will not...let you fools...defeat me." said Blastmon.
"I don't know; considering the condition you're in right now, I don't think you stand much of a chance against us." said MirageGaogamon. Blastmon glared at the partner Digimon before he turned towards Angewomon.
"Let's see how you do when I have a Digimon hostage!" shouts Blastmon as he runs towards Angewomon.
"HeavyLeomon; stop him!" shouts Rusty.
"I will, Rusty!" replied HeavyLeomon. He aims his cannon on his left shoulder at the running Blastmon. "Barrage Sweeper!" HeavyLeomon fires energy blasts from his cannon and they hits Blastmon's back.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" shouts Blastmon before he disintegrated; the group cheered in victory.
"They did it!" said Lincoln.
"I guess five Megas are better than one." said Clyde.
"Too bad for Blastmon, he learned that too late." said Zach.
"Fellers, look." said Liam as he points at the pillar as it begins to disintegrate; seconds later, the pillar was gone. The energy rope around Angewomon vanishes and she falls on her hands and knees; the boys and their Digimon partners runs to her.
"Are you okay, Angewomon?" Rusty asked Angewomon with concern.
"I..feel very weak." replied Angewomon.
"Don't worry, Angewomon; we'll get you to Floatia so you can rest there." said Zach.
"We have enough energy to stay in our Mega Forms to bring you all to Floatia." said VictoryGreymon.
"I see...you...figured out how to Digivolve your partners to their...Mega Levels." said Angewomon.
"Darn tootin." replied Liam.
"Come on; let's get Angewomon to Floatia." said Lincoln.
"First things first." said MirageGaogamon as he looks up at a Vilemon; it gulps and tries to fly away. "Full Moon Blaster!" He fires a powerful beam of energy from the mouth of his chest armor and it hits the Vilemon, making it disintegrate. VictoryGreymon picks up Angewomon; the group begin making their way back to Floatia.
With Volcanicdramon, he glares at the holographic projection that was now blank.
"Regalecusmon, GranKuwagamon, and now Blastmon!" shouts Volcanicdramon. He flies to a cave where the Vilemon stayed; when he gets there, he sees it was empty and the words 'WE QUIT!' etched into a wall. "Those humans will pay for this! I will gather what's left of our forces and go to the remaining pillar. Those children and their partner Digimon will not destroy it!"
Moments later at Floatia, the boys were in a room with Angewomon who was lying on cushions; Lincoln was waving a fan at her while Liam held a plate of fruit and Zach was rubbing one of her feet.
"How are you doing, Angewomon?" asked Rusty as he stroked Angewomon's hand.
"I'm fine; you boys don't need to do this." replied Angewomon.
"We insist; you've been through too much." said Clyde as he holds a mug of tea close to Angewomon. Stella and the Loud sisters watched with annoyed looks on their faces.
"Boys." Stella and the Loud sisters muttered.
With Blastmon destroyed, only Volcanicdramon and one pillar remains. Will the group destroy both and close the opening between both worlds? Wait and find out.
