The next morning, inside Camperzilla, Lola was in her sleeping area, just waking up; as she opens her eyes, she sees her precious stuffed unicorn, Eunice, lying next to her.
"Good morning, my precious Eunice." said Lola as she hugs her stuffed unicorn. She then turns towards the other side of her and comes face-to-face with a Pabumon.
Meanwhile, in Lincoln and Agumon's sleeping area, they were sound asleep when all of a sudden...
"AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!" Lola's voice screams out, waking the two up.
"What's going on?!" asked Lincoln as he looks around with alarm.
"Did any of Titamon's soldiers get in the barrier?" asked Agumon. He and Lincoln go down the ladder, leading into Camperzilla's main area, just as most of the Louds were coming in, to see Lola scooted back against the back of her sleeping spot, looking at the Pabumon.
"It's a Pabumon." said Lincoln.
"How did it get in here?" asked Lynn Sr. The sound of Lily giggling gets everyone's attention; they look in Lily's playpen and see a Pabumon in it with her.
"Lily!" said Rita as she grabs her youngest daughter and lifts her out of the playpen.
"Where did they come from?" asked Lori. Rita looks in the playpen and notices a lavender Digivice with white buttons and trim on its floor.
"What's that thing?" asked Rita as she picks up the object and looks it over.
"That's a Digivice!" said Lincoln. He looks at the Pabumon in Lola's sleeping area, then looks all over it and soon finds a pink Digivice with dark pink buttons and screen edges.
"What is going on here?" asked Luan.
"I think... these Pabumons are Lily and Lola's Digimon partners." said Lincoln, surprising everyone.
"We have Digimon partners?!" asked Lola as she grabs the Digivice that was in her sleeping area. Lily grabs her Digivice out of Rita's hand and puts it in her mouth.
"Lily, that's not a pacifier." said Lincoln. Lily, not really liking the taste of the Digivice, spits it out into her hands.
"How come they get Digimon partners, and I don't?" asked Lana as she crosses her arms.
"Are they dangerous?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Not Digimon in these stages." said Lincoln. "Unless you count blowing bubbles as dangerous." As if on cue, the Pabumon start blowing bubbles, to Lily's delight as she pops a few.
"I guess that isn't so bad." said Rita. She sets Lily down who then crawls over to her Pabumon and hugs it.
"That Pabumon seems nice." said Luna.
"Most Digimon are friendly, except ones that work for Titamon's forces." said Lincoln.
"What do we do now?" asked Leni.
"Let's have breakfast first, then we can figure that out." said Lori. Lynn Sr makes a bunch of pancakes, sausages, and toast; as the family ate, Lily looks at her Pabumon who was looking up at her; she takes a piece of a pancake and drops it towards Pabumon who catches it in its mouth. Lola looks at her Pabumon and decides to feed it also.
"I definitely need to tell my friends about this." said Lincoln. Just then, Lily and Lola's Digivices started to glow.
"What's going on?" asked Lola before one of the buttons on her and Lily's Digivices, started to glow; Lily pushes the button on her Digivice and her Pabumon begins to spin.
"Pabumon, Digivolve to..." Pabumon starts to say as it spins; when it was done, it turned into a yellow, round Digimon with a pair of triangular ears on top of it, and a tail with purple stripes.
"Nyaromon!" the Digimon said.
"Kitty cat." said Lily, reaching for the newly Digivolved Digimon, now known as Nyaromon. Lincoln points his artifact at the Digimon.
"Actually, Lily; that's Nyaromon." said Lincoln. "In-Training Level, Lesser Type, but it has no Attribute; its special attack is Fox Tail." Lola pushes the button on her Digivice and her Pabumon begins to spin; it Digivolved into Yokomon. "Hey; your Pabumon's now a Yokomon."
"Like what Rusty has?" asked Leni.
"Yeah." said Lincoln.
"What are you and your friends going to do today?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Well, we want to take down the remaining obelisks as soon as possible." said Lincoln.
"Who's going to stay behind?" asked Lynn Jr.
"I think it's Zach's turn to stay behind and watch over the safe zone." said Lincoln.
"Okay." said Rita.
"Agumon and I are gonna meet up with our friends and get ready." said Lincoln.
"We have Digimon partners, too!" said Lola as she points at her Yokomon. "We should be able to help also."
"I don't know..." Lincoln started to say before Lola grabs his shirt collar and pulls him down so he's looking her in her angry, bloodshot, eyes as she snarls.
"Just bring her." said Lori.
"Yeah, you know how she can get." said Luna.
"F-F-Fine." said Lincoln, making Lola let her go and smile. Lincoln picks up Lily, and they, along with Lola, Agumon, Lily's Nyaramon, and Lola's Yokomon, all exit Camperzilla.
As they walk through the safe zone, the people they go by notice Lily and Lola's Digimon partners.
"How did they get in here?" asked a man.
"Are they friendly?" asked a woman.
"They're me and Lily's partners!" shouts Lola, making the people look away. Lincoln sees his friends and their Digimon partners near where the vehicles in the safe zone are parked.
"Hey, buddy!" said Clyde.
"You ready to..." Stella started to say before she and the others notices Lily in Lincoln's arms, along with Lola following after him.
"What are they doing here?" asked Rusty. Lincoln then points at her sisters' Nyaramon and Yokomon, while Lily and Lola hold out their Digivices.
"You might want to sit down." said Lincoln. His friends and their Digimon partners look at each other before they sit on the ground. Lincoln then explains to them about what happened that morning in Camperzilla.
"Lily and Lola have Digimon partners now?!" asked Stella.
"Tarnation!" said Liam.
"How did that happen?" asked Zach.
"I don't have a clue." said Lincoln.
"Since we have Digimon partners now, we want to help also!" said Lola.
"Wiwy help, too." said Lily.
"But the most your Digivices can do is make your Digimon Digivolve to their Champion Forms." said Clyde.
"They need artifacts to move up to Ultimate." said Stella. "And the power up from Seraphimon to manage their Mega Forms."
"Well, we can still help!" said Lola.
"How about you all help Zach guard the safe zone while me, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, and Stella, go after the next obelisk?" Lincoln asked his younger sisters.
"Fine." said Lola while Lily giggles with delight.
"Who's bringing us to the next obelisk?" asked Clyde.
"I'm gonna be BRINGING YOU." Lisa's robot, TODD, says as he approaches the group.
"Lisa's sending you?" asked Lincoln.
"She wants me to gather data on the Digimon you find at the next OBELISK." said TODD.
"I'm guessing she wants you to get some more Digimon fecal matter?" asked Lincoln.
"AFFIRMATIVE." TODD replied.
"What vehicle are we taking?" asked Rusty.
"Mr. Loud gave me the keys to VANZILLA." TODD says as he holds out his magnet hand that had a set of keys stuck to it.
"Let's go then." said Lincoln. He, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Stella, and their Digimon partners all climb into Vanzilla.
"I'll make an opening in the force field." said Lisa as she pulls out her device and creates an opening big enough for Vanzilla to get through.
"We'll be back as soon as we destroy that obelisk." said Lincoln.
"Me, Lola, and Lily, and our partners, will keep an eye on things here until then." said Zach.
"Yeah!" said Lola. TODD drives Vanzilla through the opening and towards their destination before Lisa closes the opening.
While Lincoln's group was driving through Royal Woods; back at Tall Timbers Park, a large humanoid Digimon made of dark blue fire watches the safe zone from nearby.
"Time to strike!" said the Digimon before he looks behind him to see several Digimon that looked like candles on candlesticks with a flame with a face on top of each of them.
"We're ready, sir!" said one of the candlelike Digimon.
In the safe zone, Zach was keeping watch, while Lola and Lily were playing with their partner Digimon.
"Zach Gurdle!" Mayor Davis' voice rings out from the walkie-talkie on Zach's waist.
"What's wrong?" Zach replied into the walkie-talkie.
"Enemy Digimon are trying to break through the barrier!" said Mayor Davis. "We need you and your partner to head for the northern part of the safe zone!"
"We'll be right there!" Zach replied. The sound of an engine gets his attention, making him look to see Lola, Lily, and their partner Digimon in Lola's Princess Car.
"Let's go!" said Lola. Zach and Gotsumon look at each other before climbing into Lola's vehicle. They head off towards the part of the barrier that was being attacked. When they arrived, they see fiery Digimon that was . "What's that?"
"Point your Digivice at that Digimon to find out." said Zach. Lola holds her Digivice towards the Digimon.
"This says that Digimon's BlueMeramon." said Lola. "It's an Ultimate Level, Flame Type, and has all three Attributes; it's special attack is Cold Flame."
"What dose?" asked Lily, pointing at something. Zach and Lola look to see several of the candlelike Digimon standing behind BlueMeramon. Lily holds her Digivice towards one of them; since Lily couldn't read, Zach reads the Digimon's information over her shoulder.
"Those are Candlemon." said Zach. "Rookie Level, Flame Type, Data Attribute; special attack, Lava Loogie."
"Sounds worse than the loogies Lana likes to spit out." said Lola.
"Frost Knuckle!" shouts BlueMeramon. Ice surrounded BlueMeramon's fist and it punches the barrier.
"Where's Lisa?" asked Zach.
"Right here." said Lisa, running over to a part of the barrier that was far from the Digimon outside the barrier. She takes out her device and uses it to create an opening for Zach, Lola, and Lily to exit through; once they do, Lisa closes the barrier.
"Ready, Gotsumon?" asked Zach.
"I'm ready if you are." replied Gotsumon. Zach nods before pushing the button on his artifact; Gotsumon begins to spin. "Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." He soon became Golemon. "...Golemon!"
"How do I work this thing?" asked Lola as she begins pushing the buttons on her Digivice while Lily does the same.
Meanwhile, BlueMeramon was continuing to punch the barrier when Golemon charges at him.
"Rock Punch!" shouts Golemon as he throws a fist and punches BlueMeramon across the face, knocking it back; BlueMeramon glares at Golemon, then at Lola, Lily, Yokomon, and Nyaromon.
"Get them!" shouts BlueMeramon.
"Can Yokomon and Nyaromon beat those Candlemon?" asked Lola.
"I don't know." said Zach.
"But we'll still try!" shouts Yokomon before she and Nyaromon charge at the Candlemon.
"Paraffin Paralyzer!" shouts a Candlemon as it whips its body around, making melted wax come off it and hit Yokomon and Nyaromon, sticking them to the ground.
"No fair!" shouts Lola.
"Bubbles!" shouts Yokomon and Nyaromon as they release streams of bubbles at a Candlemon, hitting it in its eyes.
"That stings!" shouts the Candlemon.
"More where that came from!" shouts Yokomon.
"Lava Loogie!" shouts a Candlemon as it hocks up a loogie made of magma and spits it at Yokomon.
"HOT! HOT! HOT!" shouts Yokomon.
"Be careful!" shouts Lola.
"Body Attack!" shouts another Candlemon as it rams Nyaromon. Lily whimpers as her partner is attacked.
"We gotta do something, Lily!" said Lola. Suddenly, their Digivices started to glow. "Hey, they're glowing again!" A button on them glows brightly. Lily looks at hers before she and Lola push the buttons, making their Digimon glow brightly, blinding the Candlemon.
"My eyes!" shouts a Candlemon.
"We can't see!" said another Candlemon.
"Yokomon; Digivolve to..." Yokomon said as she starts to spin while glowing brightly; when she stopped and the light faded, she looked like a pink, bipedal, rabbit-like Digimon with headphones that had a purple flower design on each ear part on her head, a dark pink scarf around her neck, and small red boots on her feet.
"CUTEMON!" said the Digimon now known as Cutemon.
"She's so cute!" said Lola before she uses her Digivice to see what her new Digimon was. "Okay; she's called Cutemon, a perfect name for her, she's a Rookie Level, Fairy Type, Vaccine Attribute; her special attack is Healing Glow."
With Nyaromon, she was spinning while glowing.
"Nyaromon, Digivolve to..." says Nyaromon as he continued to spin; when he stopped, she was now a black, bipedal, bearlike Digimon, wearing a baseball cap with the word 'BEARS' on it backwards, with belts wrapped around his forearms, and another around its torso.
"BEARMON!" said the Digimon, now known as Bearmon.
"Bear!" said Lily, pointing at Bearmon. She holds out her Digivice towards Bearmon and its information appeared on it; Lola reads the information to Lily.
"Okay, Lily; that's Bearmon." said Lola. "Rookie Level, Beast Type, Vaccine Attribute; special attack, Bear Fist."
With Zach, he was looking at Golemon who just staring at BlueMeramon.
"Ice Bomb!" shouts BlueMeramon as he throws a blue energy orb that hits Golemon that causing a freezing explosion that freezes parts of his body, as well as some of the trees and bushes in the area.
"You okay, Golemon?" asked Zach.
"For now." Golemon replied.
"Not for long!" said BlueMeramon.
"Then I think it's time to take this fight to the next level." said Zach as he holds out his artifact and pushes the button on it, making Golemon start to spin while glowing.
"Golemon, Digivolve to..." Golemon said as it was surrounded by a vortex of glowing rocks; when it cleared, he was Digivolved to..
"METEORMON!" shouts Meteormon.
"You think that'll be enough to stop me?!" asked BlueMeramon.
"Let's find out!" shouts Meteormon as he and BlueMeramon charge at each other.
With Cutemon and Bearmon, they were looking at the Candlemon as they bounced towards them.
"Take them down!" said Lola.
"You got it, partner!" said Cutemon as she stands in front of Bearmon. "Ultrasonic Song!" She starts to sing, releasing a powerful heat wave that washes over the Candlemon, making their bodies start to drip heavily.
"We're melting!" shouts a Candlemon.
"Rolling Attack!" shouts Bearmon as he rolls at the melting Candlemon and hits them, sending all, but one, flying.
"How dare you!" shouts the Candlemon as it leaps at Bearmon from behind.
"Wook out!" shouts Lily, making Bearmon look to see the Candlemon in midair, coming towards him.
"Bear Fist!" shouts Bearmon as he throws a mighty punch that hits the Candlemon, making it's body disintegrate.
"Way to blow out that candle, Bearmon!" said Lola. Lily claps and giggles with delight, making Bearmon look at her while giving a thumbs-up.
Back with Meteormon, he was cracked in a few places while BlueMeramon was struggling to stand.
"You won't win!" said Meteormon.
"You're not looking all that great either!" BlueMeramon replied.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he runs at BlueMeramon with his fist drawn back.
"Frost Knuckle!" shouts BlueMeramon as he runs at the oncoming Meteormon as he has a fist that was covered in ice drawn back; both Digimon punch each other, with Meteormon hitting BlueMeramon in the stomach while taking a punch to the side of his face from his opponent, sending them both flying back, and barely able to stand.
"You can't keep this up forever." said BlueMeramon.
"Are you okay, Meteormon?" asked Cutemon as she runs over to Meteormon.
"I've been better." said Meteormon. Cutemon's hands begin to glow with white energy.
"Healing Glow!" said Cutemon as beams of light come out of her hands that hit Meteormon; the cracks on his body start to disappear, and he was getting his strength back.
"That's handy!" said Zach.
"No fair!" shouts BlueMeramon.
"That won't matter in a few seconds." said Meteormon. "Galactic Flare!" He creates a wormhole that releases hundreds of purple meteors that hit BlueMeramon all over its body.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts BlueMeramon as his body was extinguished.
"Way to go, Meteormon!" shouts Zach.
"Thank you, Zach." said Meteormon. "And thank you also, Cutemon."
"Glad to help." said Cutemon. After the coast was confirmed to be clear, and Meteormon turns back to Gotsumon; Lisa creates an opening in the force field, allowing Zach, Gotsumon, Cutemon, and Bearmon to enter the safe zone.
"You were wonderful, Cutemon!" said Lola as she hugs her partner who hugs her back.
"Bear!" said Lily as she hugs Bearmon's leg.
"Today was interesting." said Zach.
"Linky better write about what happened in his journal!" said Lola.
"He will after we tell him what happened." said Zach. "And I'm sure he'll do drawings of Cutemon and Bearmon also."
Later, several girls were gushing over Cutemon, while several younger ones were climbing all over Bearmon who was lying on the ground, allowing it to happen.
Lola and Lily's partners just had their first battle. What else is in store for Royal Woods? Wait and find out.
