Chapter 14 - Touch Game 6 (Can Prey Become Predator?)

The scene begins with tension evident on Saka's face, but Saka stares at the giant's reflection in the windowpane.

Purple Giant: Saka, listen, I'd like to ask them for a piece of silver before we go.

Saka: I want a request from you, Goblin Giant... I want a piece of silver.

The Green Goblin Giant sighs as he looks at Saka. There's no expression on his face, just a look as if to say, "Who are you to ask for a piece of silver?"

Goblin Giant: Do I know why?... Never mind. *He speaks in his strange language to the goblin girl, who goes to the stairs and takes out a circular silver coin and hands it to Saka.*

Purple Giant in the reflection of the silver coin: Good, now tie it around your neck and let's move.

Saka: Oh, I see. We can talk together all the time now.

Saka goes outside with the goblin soldier.

Purple Giant: Walk behind him, Saka. He might betray you.

Saka: You're so reserved. He can't betray me. We made a deal.

The goblin soldier turns to Saka, pointing him up near the wall.

Saka:...What?

Purple Giant: He's telling you that this is our destination on the plateau near the wall.

Saka: Oh! Okay, let's keep walking.

The goblin continues walking behind Saka. Meanwhile, Vitsko had reached the goblin village and entered the green giant leader, carrying one of his soldiers and holding a sword to his throat.

Vitsko: "Is there anyone here who speaks my language?"

The green goblin giant shouted, "Oh, another human. Have you lost your friend?"

Vitsko: "Then I'm on the right track. I'm glad there's someone who doesn't want to resolve the matter with violence, Mr. Goblin. I'm a human soldier. We lost the boy in your land. I hope you'll help us find him, and we promise not to bother you again."

The green goblin, in a contemptuous tone, said: "Oh, your very existence alive is a crime. If there hadn't been an agreement, I would have entered your land myself and burned it. As for the boy, he's already beaten you. You'll find him by the wall, at the top of a hill near the wall, with one of our soldiers. Don't even think about touching the soldier. Leave now!" Vitsuko bows to the giant as a thank you for the information and leaves.

Green Giant: "Damn it, what's wrong today? It's really weird."

Vitsuko to himself: "Oh, the boy never left. He's closer, closer than I thought. Now I'm almost done with the chase."

The scene shifts to Saka and the goblins. The goblin points to a small hut in the distance, looking very nervous and scared.

Purple Giant: "Go to him, Saka, but... don't be reckless. You don't know the potential threat from the Turtle Demon Sage. No one knows."

To be continued...
