Cassius let go of her hand with a look of pure disgust. He wiped the blood off the bracelet with a handkerchief and tossed it onto the table. His eyes held disgust, almost as if Moon's blood was tainted with poison. "See?" he said, his voice flat and disappointed. "Nothing. The damn bracelet remains the same as a piece of junk."
"So, no one knows how to activate it!?" Peter threw his hands up in frustration. "It's our key to greatness! I want more than this! I want to be remembered as the man that built back this country! I want to step on Hades Quinn's head and prove to him that he did not destroy me."
Blood rushed from Moon's face. What was Peter talking about? Where was Hades Quinn and what was going on with him? She wanted to ask, but she was too afraid to say anything.
