Out in the forest, the battle between the women and the crocodylus was already underway. Sunshine had covered its snout with ice, and she was slowly freezing all other parts of it. Leah was working on slicing its ridges on the back, to expose its weak spot.
Nimo hovered above, in her exo suit. She hurled a grenade at the creature's back, but the crocodylus twisted, avoiding the blast. The grenade fell into the water, simmered and the hot acid tainted water splashed upwards, nearly scalding Leah.
"Hey acid hands, watch it." Leah barked.
"Sorry, I got excited." Nimo replied, already preparing another acid grenade.
The ice covering the snout of the crocodylus cracked. Immediately, the beast snapped at Sunshine. It lunged upwards, dragging the rest of its body out of the lake. It was not as big as the ones they had fought before.
